Usually a wonderful place, but the wifi, which is almost required once you've started down that…read moreroad, is spotty, and the place doesn't have anyone there regularly to help with issues. Still, when things are working as they should, it's fantastic!

The location is clean, I'll give them that. All the laundromat's machines are new and fancy, with…read moretouch screen displays that interface with the pay kiosk in the back of the room. The price of these fancy new machines is possibly why it is so expensive to do laundry here: I paid $16 per wash. For prices like these, I would expect an attendant to be present to address issues, but alas no one is ever here. I barely ever come here, but I've learned to bring my own detergent because the machine that vends detergent/fabric softener sheets etc has been empty every time I come here. Also worth noting, is that this appears to be a cash-free establishment, which is unfortunate. Upon my first visit here, I noticed no phone number is posted anywhere throughout the laundromat. The phone number I found on Google, contacts a CALL CENTER in ANOTHER COUNTRY. So when the power DID out on my most recent visit, the person at the call center helped as much as they could, but it would have been so much better to deal with an attendant. It's also maddening that in this small town, where businesses SHOULD employ local people, all of the work is outsourced to a call center outside the US. Update: I'm changing my review from 1 star to 2. I stayed at the laundromat for an hour after the power went out, hoping it would come back. The owner finally showed up, and seemed personable enough. I voiced my grievance that he or any employee should be contactable, instead of a call center. He acknowledged the lack of contact info in the building and said he'd do something about it. At the same time he gave me the impression that even though he owns this business, he doesn't care to be contactable for his patrons. Instead, he pointed to unlabeled speaker on the wall near the pay kiosk, and said I could speak to the "attendant" at any time. (The attendant is the same person who answers calls at the call center.) So, this means, that while all the customers and I were speaking audibly during the outage about what to do, the attendant was listening and chose not to help us. I have qualms about supporting a business that is carefree about raking in $$$ from people who do laundry but not willing to provide good service in person.

This laundry is close to where I was staying. There are staff there to help occasionally, but you…read moredon't need to have most of the time since everything is well explained. There i a bill changer that works. The machines look to be in decent shape. It cost between 5.25 and 6.25 to do a load of laundry and then dryers are $.25 per cycle. You can get detergent and fabric softener here. There are a few sitting areas and of course a vending machine. There are bars on the door and window but otherwise it seems to be clean and functional inside.

===== Clean, friendly, snacks, wifi: what more do I need from my laundromat? =====…read more Positive experience warrants a positive review! Caveat: I came at 10:30 am on a weekday morning so one's experience is different when it's more crowded? Also, I only used the dryers (dryer broken at home and waiting for repair -- that's a different Yelp review!). +++ Dryers work well. That's why I'm here after all, right? Clothes got perfectly dried. Put quarters in for 40 minutes and everything dried. These were cotton sweatshirts too so dryers definitely work. It was $0.25 for each 5 minutes so $2. I don't go to a lot of laundromats but that seems fair. + Clean facility. Floors clean, machines clean and not musty. No weird smells inside. + I didn't use change machine but three other customers did and it seemed to work like a charm. No negative attendant experiences that others reported. +++ Wifi! I didn't see the password posted but took a chance and called the service number. Super nice person answered who gave me the password. To save you time (and further calls to the attendant), the password is the address of the place, all lower case. I figure if you're going to go as far as looking up the Yelp review to use their wifi, then you earned it with your industriousness. (No one's going to steal wifi through this Yelp review.) Wifi decent enough for getting your work done - typing this review with it! + Clear instructions posted all around. * TV's not on but I don't mind that. + At least 4-5 carts with wheels that I can see for wheeling your stuff in, between washer and dryer, and back out. + Little vending machine games if you're into that (claw machine!). + Snack machine with an array of sweet and savory snacks plus drinks. + The blue chairs that are in every laundromat! :-D +++ Power outlet in the front waiting area. Two sockets. + Vending machine with an array of products. Update: An attendant showed up and she was talking with regulars. Always love when small business owners talk with regulars.
