The problem with this practice is that, instead of making more time for patients to have a dialogue with the doctors, they mostly discourage dialogue. This allows them to see many more patients. Since the last review was 2015, I thought I'd relate my recent experience: I injured my hand in a fall and was referred to VOI. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. Doctor Taylor was engaged, explained the injury and what I needed to do to regain mobility in my hand. The nursing staff was very supportive & I felt like I was in good hands. On follow-up I met with Jonathan & he was also superb. Asked questions, and made a number of suggestions that I think will be very useful. Jonathan thought to ask about other potential injuries from the fall to look out for - I'd banged my knee pretty hard, but it had been kinda neglected. Its difficult to find a good medical specialist these days. I was in need of a specialist that cared for my specific concerns associated with rheumatoid arthritis. I would recommend this place over any other in the high desert. Dr Shah is an amazing doctor who cares and will take the time to help you. He has gone out of his way several times to help my daughter who has had multiple fractures. My husband also broke his clavicle and had emergency surgery from Taylor he did a great job. I feel safe bringing my family here and know they are in good hands they are both great doctors and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend !! read more

My kids have seen both Dr. Shah and Dr. Taylor for broken bones. They were both wonderful. Both doctors took their time with my kids and had great bedside manner. Dr. Taylor even wrote a lovely note on my son's cast. The wait times were reasonable each appointment. read more

I wouldn't recommend! I had my appointment with Dr. Taylor and surgery was advised to repair my torn rotator cuff. I was told I would be contacted with in two days by the surgery scheduler. On the third day I called four times and only got a recording and no way to leave a message. On the fourth day I got a person but the scheduler was out so I was asked to call back. Waited an hour and called back and this time she was busy so I left my phone number for a call back. She called back only to acknowledge she had my file and could she call me back the next day and promised to call. Next day no call in fact I waited a week. Decided to call Kerlan-Jobe and make an appointment with Dr. Shultz. I now have a preop appointment, surgery date and post op appointment. A much more professional group! Don't waste your time. It's been over three weeks and still haven't gotten my phone call from the surgery scheduler. read more
