Produce selection not the greatest, Tomatoes too soft and wrinkly looking. Onions ugh!. Rotten limes. Had to return a bag of halos, in two days it had smelly green powdered type mold that I had to toss as well as the seedless lemons. Leafy vegs too limpy.. Limited Asian selection and not the freshest There's never anyone in asking assistance! During the summer who displays bottled water outside, search the health risks why bottled water should NOT be outdoors in the heat. I would rather go to another Safeway, asking first if bottled waters are stored outside, their response is NO and should not be! Positive side: Most of the ladies at the checkout are super friendly. Self check is a joke. The front end ladies in charge helpful especially when I'm charged incorrectly or returns due to bad produce or fruits and out of date products. . They all seem to be patient with me. The store would make shoppers feel welcomed like in the years ago, cashiers use to greet you as you walk in and periodically there would be an employee in the aisles working without asking if need assistance. Most have a @I don't want to be here" attitude.

My last trip, I interrupted the cashier and baggers conversation about tattoos with my grocery order. I had to say hi first. And then got a snapped "paper or plastic?" How dare I?! The pharmacy is horrendous. They ask you for your info seemingly very annoyed that they have to stoop to help you, then cut you off mid sentence when you try to answer. Today, Im done. It's the last straw for me. They aren't taking new customers from medicine shoppe, even though they filled my script a week ago. I wasn't using medicine shoppe, and I called in my order, spoke to the lady on the phone, and was told my order is in line to be filled. Bunch of bitter, sad, grumpy, liars. Just drive to Spokane, or anywhere but here.

Who cares if it came from a dirty puddle. This place is in the middle of nowhere and offers you a drink where no one else will. However, they have the potential to be amazing and they don't. Sure, they have all the drinks that you find at any other corner store but the food section is OLD, FRIED, TASTELESS, UNAPPEALING, and do NOT even think of eating the glazed cherry donut holes in this section.. they taste like playdough. We bought some seed potatoes today along with some other things we saw and thought, "oh yeah, we could use some of these." They've got hardware, clothes, some produce alongside a first-rate meat market with choice seafood. There's plenty of dry goods and canned goods - even stuff to do your OWN canning. Plus, lots of ingredients for pickling, sausage and jerky making. They even have gardening supplies and an auto service shop! Prices are fairly decent considering their location and convenience. And as always Safeway runs lots of sales. But what I like most of all here are the employees! This is the happiest friendliest group I have ever encountered at a Safeway! They always have a smile and are so cheerful. They don't treat you different because you are from out of town. Every customer seems equally important! Great place to stop!

Today they surprisingly had someone back there. But the person running the rooms was a very rude middle aged gentlemen. My mother had come into the room with me to give feedback on some clothes that I was trying on. and he was extremely rude to her for "not checking in" and when she said she wasn't aware that she had to he continued to be rude to her. Made us feel very unwelcome. Needless to say. Clothes shopping will no longer be done here. And shopping all together will be limited when coming to this store (they don't have shopping bags anymore unless you bring your own. Or pay 67 cents for a bag if you happen to forget one!).

I wish Yelp would inform you that you need to sign up BEFORE you start writing!! Anyway, rant done! Super One Bonners is awesome! Folks, if you want good service, be a good customer. Be the one to smile and show appreciation and say something pleasant. You will get a positive response 99% of the time. No one is perfect, so if your experience was less than perfect, give the folks there the benefit of the doubt that they may be having a bad day, just like we all have. So I think the folks there are great and very friendly! I love chatting a bit at the check out and if I find something funny to say I will get a good laugh back, or at least a smile! And if you need something and workers are talking between each other, wait a bit, and then cut in and say excuse me, could you help me? And they will! They will bend over backwards to find what you are looking for! Also, I think they appreciate it if you can remember their names. I try to do that and when I come in I greet whoever is nearby using their name. They will smile...you may have made their day! They had a sore back, a headache, working an extra shift and are dead tired...just a friend smile, and a word of hello I think makes a heart just feel a little bit lighter....anyway, I feel it's worth the effort. Be the one to make someone elses day! The food selection is just as good here as at any of the other stores. Prices have gone up, but that's not Super One's fault, but the economy in general. I love the cinnamon rolls in the bakery...buy them all the time, though because I have to watch my sugar intake, I do have to scrap off much of the icing...but is it GOOD! And the Cyrus pies are awesome, too! I'd never had a marionberry pie before and what a treat that was! Being from the Midwest and enjoying pasties in Michigan, I gotta say though, that the one an only item I wish tasted better are the pasties made in Montana that they sell frozen here. Nothing can beat a homemade pasty from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! But hey, they are doing the best they can to provide us "foreigners" from outside the northwestern area of the States something from "home", you know? I give them an A for effort! And again, Bonners IS a friendly town, and the folks at Super One fit that description! We've lived here five years and feel so blessed to be here! It's gorgeous and the mood is upbeat especially if you can put a smile on your face, too, and look for the good and pass by an unhappy experience...chock it up to life! No one is perfect!!
