I have to say I've never had their beef but will try it soon. I went to my health food store in Deer Park and bought the tallow. Best tallow ever! I've bought two jars so far. After seeing them open a shop in Richland and trying a few of their cuts I knew I had to order half a cow. Some of the best beef I've had and delivered free to my front door. I will be suggesting them to all of my friends and family. Great quality and very pleasant to work with. read more

How do you praise a small ranch that delivers everything promised, without being greedy and not wanting to share this gem with the rest of the PNW. Can I just keep this for myself? I don't think it would be fair to a growing family business. To say that the beef is good is an understatement. The beef is delicious and better than any other farm or store I have purchased from. Yes, I did the grain finish and couldn't be happier. I ordered a whole beef this summer. From the packaging to the cut's I have never eaten. Seem's, I like the Denver cut. Can I get a whole cow of that? :) Everything met and exceeded my expectations. I also bought some wagyu from the shop when we picked up, and wow. Trying to talk myself into spending a little more next year and do a whole wagyu. Needless to say, get on the wait list, you will not be disappointed. Thanks' Lone Crow Ranch. This was our first time buying beef this way. Before I purchased I gave them a call. I talked to Cody and he was great! He answered all my questions, was informative, and gave me advice. We got a quarter of a grain fed beef; the roast package. We got our beef right when they said we would and The process to pick it up was quick and painless. So far we have tried the T-bones, Brisket, London Broil, and ground beef. All of it has been delicious! We will definitely be making another purchase! Next time I think we will try the grill package. Highly recommend buying local! It was significantly cheaper than the store (about 4.15/lb after butchers fees) and the peace of mind of knowing exactly where my beef came from was priceless. Summer of no beef. Ordered 1/4 cow/roast in early June. Was told would be ready in a month. Called in mid July was told another month. Called in mid August was told another month. Called October 2nd to ask for a refund on deposit and was told order was ready and I had been e mailed. Looked and found invoice in my spam folder. Only e mail I ever received. After discussing with my wife we decided to cancel order. Asked for refund of the deposit, they declined. In fairness it does say if your order is processed they will not refund your deposit. Even though they do have 2 retail locations where they can sell it for retail pricing. Was a disappointing experience that cost $200.00. 3 days after we cancelled the order we did receive a call..... It was to let us know our order was ready. read more

Had a nice drive up to Lone Crow Meats to pick up our Angus half beef that we ordered. Very clean little store, we were greeted warmly and had nice conversation. Our half beef was loaded into our rig promptly, wow, that's great customer service there! We decided to try a couple of Wagyu rib steaks and we also bought a 1/2 gallon of beautiful honey that was locally raised. We then headed back home. When we got home we started putting the beef in our freezer. Me being around beef my entire life from my parents owning a small cattle ranch to me working in the meat department at Safeway for 7 years...I know my beef. I knew right away that this was some awesome beef that we just purchased! I could see the marbling on the steaks and I was instantly happy! I bar-b-q'd the wagyu steaks later that day and I have to say, the hype is real, my first bite was the best most fantastic bite of beef in my life! WOW! My husband and I could not believe what an incredible steak we were eating. We're very impressed with Lone Crow Ranch and Meats, hats off to you! We are life long customers at this point. This was our first visit to their new location. It's a long way from our South Hill home, but for excellent beef, it's not too far! If we can get our freezer emptied out a bit I will be buying a quarter beef. They also have beefalo and they are adding Wagyu! The hamburger is outstanding.
