No complaints! I somewhat know what I'm doing when it comes to PC's, but my sisters laptop was slow as hell and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I woke up to the blue screen of death yesterday. It was bad, nothing was working. I decided to take it in to a shop, and this one was the best rated as well as close. I texted the number and he got back to me within an hour. I took the computer down to the shop and he explained all of my options as well as what it might be. The shop is very clean and organized, and even has a BB8 robot for kids to play with, which my daughter loved. He offered to back up the data for $125 but I declined as I can recover things that are most important with the various emails, iCloud and Photobucket things I have. While I do believe he tried his best, it had to be wiped and I lost everything. My fault. 1. I should've backed up and 2. I did decline the backup. So whatevs. Hardware was saved so I didn't have to get anything else, it was just the flat fee. I did opt for a suite of programs to prevent this crap from happening again, as well as an Office Suite I didn't have before, for a one time fee. All in all, I am pleased that the hardware didn't need to be replaced, and I suppose it was a lesson I had to learn. Back yo shit up. Bottom line, I'm very satisfied with this business. Carlos is super nice, and I never felt pressured or guilted into anything. I felt he did right by me, and just like taking your car in to a mechanic, I feel it's easy to be duped by a shop and you really have to trust them. I feel I can trust him. I reviewed several laptop repair businesses on Yelp and this place stood out to me due to the positive feedback. I called Carlos and explained the issues I was having with my laptop. I installed a solid state drive as the boot drive in a new PC, and the drive died immediately after installation, rendering the PC unusable. Based on Yelp reviews, I left the 'puter at Valley Support for a diagnosis and repair, unsure how long it would be out of service. Carlos called in about an hour and advised that the SSD had indeed failed, and he made a recommendation for a new drive at a reasonable price, installed the SSD, did a fresh Windows install on the SSD and added a suite of additional software for $80 ($50 for the repair, $30 for the optional software) plus parts. Carlos runs a small one man shop and is friendly, knowledgeable and honest. It is refreshing to find an entrepreneur who has those qualities, along with very reasonable pricing, and I plan to use Valley Support for any future computer repair needs, both PC and Mac. Great service super fast. I had paid HP support to help and all I got was the run around. I believe I could actually hear them laughing in the background as they took my money. My problem was an employee who was fired before he left changed the password on this personal computer. A full system reset would have been easy but I needed a data recovery because of irreplaceable pictures deceased mother. Look no further... seriously, don't bother reading reviews on any other company... this is the best tech support in Fresno. Carlos is extremely professional and friendly. The process and costs are transparent - Carlos explains everything up front and meets his commitments. I normally run an anti-malware program in addition to an anti-virus program. Roughly a week ago, my anti-malware software was corrupted and I didn't reload the program right away. Totally MY bad! Fast forward one week and the windows settings for my WiFi adapter are corrupted.
