Their systems are antiquated (If you send your provider a message, it goes into a big black hole, never to be answered. In fact, i was told by a clinic employee "why would we answer these messages, we do not get paid for them " Their front administrative staff are some of the nasty and rude people i have ever met. God help you if you ask them a question, you will receive a rude comment in return. They can not get their records correct...oopps we gave you the incorrect medication now your dead !! My nurse practitioner is very caring. Knowledgeable and listens well. I have seen a doctor there while having a bad health episode. He also listened well and was very through. It turned out I had type A flu, strep throat and a bacterial infection in my lungs. He did not stop until he was sure he found each thing and gave me two good antibiotics to cure it. I recommend this clinic. read more

UNBELIEVABLY bad drive through service. We sat for 12 minutes at the window. people walked by many times but never came to the window. two made eye contact with my sister, but kept right on going. Finally, my sister kept pressing the services button. a surly young man came to the window. my sister kept pressing asked what the delay was and he said "She came by several times but you were busy." Yeah, cause people waiting in line are busy, yeah right. so now surly man says her Rx is $109.00. she says it is always $9.00, and now he is really rude and says "Take it up with your insurance." Finally a woman comes over and pulls him aside. She found the proper price and he rang it up. He very loudly (and gruffly,) wished us a merry Christmas and have a great day. Avoid I went in for having issues with my ankles couldn't hardly walk on them and they were giving out never even got addressed their Arnp went to blood pressure instead that I was not in there for prescribed blood pressure meds that made me extremely tired couldn't keep eyes open missed 2 late day appointments now can't schedule a appointment for 6 months because they put me on meds I couldn't even keep my eyes open when I called in said if you're that tired you need to come in so not only did they suspend care for 6 months they wanted me to get a dui for being exhausted on meds they put me on didn't give a damn if I fell asleep driving and crashed possibly hurting myself or others and not addressing the medical issues I been trying to get addressed since 2016 and they wonder why my blood pressure up soon as I walk in there . I been trying to get referals to specialist for my hydrocephalus, Cerebal Palsy that causes spasams through the body, and screwed up back, knees , and ankles, However they won't even address those issues and wonder why blood pressure up duh I'm in a crap load of pain you people won't address I wouldn't send My dog there let alone refer someone else. read more

I have been nothing but pleased with my care, and the services available, at Valley View. Dr. Michael Lorich is terrific, very personable. David, PharmD is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The front desk and MA's have all been prompt and efficient. I appreciate that there are multiple services available in one building, particularly for patients who may not navigate medical services well or are underprivileged. read more

My daughter was seen at Oly urgent care where a radiologist reviewed her spinal ex ray and noted a herniated disk or degenerative issue. They requested we see her regular doctor at V.V and get a referral to a pediatric spine specialist. After looking at my daughter,[ who couldn't move/ lean forward or backwards and had pain shooting down her thigh into her feet], stated she saw no red flags...I requested to see an actual doctor and after expressing my upmost disagreement with her opinion, we finally received the referral needed. We were happy to get out of that wack job office. I question her Medical education! My daughter does have a herniated disk with nerve damage and arthritis. But now we know we can take appropriate steps to reduce more damage! No thanks to them. read more

Staff was nice. Billing is absurd. My family of 4 went in for a strep test which was confirmed, and we walked out with a bill for $1,300, $600 of which was not covered by insurance. Strep test was $52/each and was almost fully covered by insurance. Then we each got charged $272 for a 'new patient' charge, of which only about half was covered. I asked the billing department what that charge was for and was told it's the coding since we were new patients and not existing ones. I asked if there is a difference in the care received for a new patient vs. an existing one and she said no, it's just the coding. Gotta love the health care system; get taken to the cleaners just to get some antibiotics prescribed. Update: Emailed them as requested and spoke to the billing department. The billing representative was nice however, wasn't able to do anything about the bill except explain the charges. Unfortunately in the health care system, if you are so unlucky to come down with something that is only treatable by prescribed antibiotics, you have no choice but to be seen by a doctor to get said prescription and be stuck with the outrageous bill. Only reason this review is not 1 star is because the staff was friendly and responsive. read more

After being discharged from a So called nursing facility I was made an appointment here. I had been going to this particular location since about twenty twenty. First of all let me say it hasn't improved any Dude is the fact that the physician that I was seeing had been unavailable. I was assigned a Nurse practitioner whose name I have since forgotten. The receptionists are still rude. The nurse practitioner that I saw was very condescending demanding. And does not listen. Every time I met with this nurse practitioner. She demanded blood work and in fact wanted me to have a colon oscopy. My hemoglobin was low because of many Surgeries that I had over the past three months. However this whole clinic is a disaster. When I would try to call back cause I'd had blood work done I could never get anybody on the phone. Well I know why because all the receptionists are talking among themselves. I've been going to Valley View to see Stephen Fisher, P.A. for a few months now. I have to say I have received great treatment. Whether that's because I had a prior relationship with him or not, I can't say. I suffer from A-Fib and Copd and he has been very informed to treatment I am receiving from specialists and treating the conditions I'm seeing him for. I've been able to get an appointment within two weeks when I have called, and the appointments have been on time. Considering the experiences I've had with other providers in the area, this is great! read more

We needed to get care for my husband by Community Care from the VA. We were given the name of a new provider at Valley View and we eventually got in with her at the end of May 2023. When we needed to reschedule to get results she had been booked up with new patients so much that we wouldn't be able to see her for at least a month and a half and my husband was in pain. So, we took the next available doctor which was a doctor I had years in the past. There was a reason I hadn't gone back to him and he put in a couple of referrals one of which would have been totally useless given my husband's issues and the other, according to the third provider we saw wouldn't have shown what we needed to find out. Valley View messed this over so many times and I had to keep calling the Supervisors to tell them the problems we had been experiencing. Way more problems happened too lengthy to get into and he still hasn't any resolution to his problems which turn out to be pretty serious. It is now the middle of Oct 2023 and he hasn't been seen by a vascular surgeon yet. This whole system of Valley View in Chehalis and Centralia is a joke. Go somewhere else and believe me I know how hard that's going to be. Their system is a total mess and all we get are excuses. read more

In the 3 years that I've been a patient i have had difficulties difficulties in connecting with my primary care provider. It seems as though, You must call everyday To reach a receptionist. There have been times when I've called several times during the week and I've been unable to reach a receptionist and therefore I have left a message I have never been called back. There have only been a few times when I have reached a receptionistI am then transferred to my primary care provider assistant. Once againMore often than not I've had to leave a message which has never been returned. Once again having to call the receptionist. Now several months ago I had been feeling very well for 2 weeks so so I call Valley View. This time Get ahold of My doctor's assistant. I then was transferred to a triage nurse. Make a long story short I ended up in the walk In clinic. The treasurers told me that I could make an appointment an appointment but they only had appointments for 2 weeks out. And most of the doctors here don't give a c*** about their patients. Well at least in my case i had been Previously been dealing with kidney stones. They were extremely painful and she would not refill a medication that could help with passing them. I had also asked if there something that I could take to help with the pain other than pain meds. She said nothing. This place needs to shut down. read more

This may be the worst health care clinic I have had to deal with. First, they never answer their phone, or when they do they put you on hold and never return your call even if they SAY they will. They ask about allergies then prescribe the very medication you are allergic to. When you call in your prescriptions the office cancels your meds altogether. They drop providers without letting you know. All they do is google symptoms and have as little contact with their patients as possible. Natural medicine is the way to go. read more

For low income and those without insurance, especially seniors, this clinic is a blessing. They are not full service as their for profit counterparts are. No frills here. However for basic services the price is right. They are open late on Thursdays. Dr Olson was compassionate and caring as she extracted two teeth. She listened to all my concerns and got me through it. Again, no frills. I paid $50 per tooth which I could afford. Elsewhere I would have been charged $450 per tooth. Every staff I've interacted with has been warm yet professional and respectful. read more

I needed a regular Dr. to control my blood pressure. I was told to call valley view after a ER visit, so I did. After telling me I couldn't schedule a regular apt, I needed a ER follow up apt and needed to call the nurse to schedule it, it took them 6 days to call me back. I called 3 times in that time frame only to be told the nurse would call me. It was the worse experience with any Dr. Office i have ever had. read more

I'm on a reduced income, but even if I had lots of money, I'd still come here. They're just the best, and I can't understand the negative reviews about them. Do NOT go here. Every time I finally get a doctor, they quit. Than I have to start all over again. As of the moment, they are refusing to refill my daughter and I's medicine. I was told at my last visit I would be ok for six months. They have all my records showing I have complied every step of the way. Instead of having one of their other doctors review my chart, refill my meds, and schedule an appointment they refused. They offered me an appointment a week away. Which by than my daughter and I would have already withdrawaled and would have to again get used to our meds all over again. I called the office after waiting a couple days for pharmacy to get ahold of them, in which they never answered the pharmacy. So I called and left a message with the manager hoping she would help, 4 days ago. She never bothered to call me back, so when I called back again. She was of no help. I asked her four times what could we do to get an rx as my daughter who is suicidal is struggling. She said well we offered you an appointment earlier you should have took it. I stated that appointment would have put me several days of no meds therefore withdrawing. I left a message hoping to get help, in which she never returned my phone call. She was rude and kept giving me the runaround. I told her its not my fault they cant keep a doctor but I did everything I was supposed to, why are they punishing me. She told me to stop being nasty. Which included me telling her the truth. Than hung up on me. I worked in healthcare for over 15 years. This is unethical. A Malpractice waiting to happen. How did she think i would behave when they are the ones constantly loosing doctors and I have withdrawal for over a week and I am watching my daughter fall apart. read more

I have been a patient at this clinic for almost two years now and am very pleased with every aspect of their service. I did have a difficult time when I first started going there in getting a deep scrape cleaning appointment (their system was laborious and ineffective). However, I am pleased to say that their system has been corrected and I have been very pleased. My interactions with their entire staff has been pleasant. They are wonderful, efficient, and friendly. The receptionists are great, the referral coordinator is great, the dental assistants are great, the hygienist is awesome, and both dentists were excellent. Dr. Wu recently performed an extraction for me on a broken tooth and it was the fastest, most trauma-less, and least painful extraction I have EVER had. He is speedy, quiet, and efficient. And, I have NEVER had to wait when I show up for appointments. I highly recommend them. read more

This is the worst place I have ever visited. The staff never listens and don't communicate anything. Patients are not the priority here. I am an insulin dependant diabetic and have had major dental problems for many years. And I have always struggled with anxiety especially with dental work. I was trying to get my mouth fix but when I went in for first appointment they wouldn't do the work due to me being to anxious. Then my primary doctor said I needed to get my A1C down before they could refer me to get fixed. Wel my doctor left valley view, I wasn't informed. Then they gave me a new one and he said thats all wrong I will never get my levels down to what was being demanded due to my type of diabetes. Plus was on wrong meds. So finally I went elsewhere and have had all my dental finished and way better. Now I called to refill my insulin that I've been taking for 12 years but was told I had no refills so they will send out request to doctor. This was six days ago and I called to see if ready and was denied apparently and never contacted because I am overdue for an appointment aka. Money. So they said I need to make an appointment and be seen to get meds. So apparently valley view views my insulin as optional because they never contacted me about denial and now I'd be lucky to get an appointment this week so looking at at least another week without my insulin. Good to know my health is not their concern because if it were I would assume they would not want me going without life saving meds for 2 or more weeks just so I come in for an appointment. Or maybe they think I've got the cure for diabetes and dont really need that prescription. I would not recommend anybody who has health issue to be seen here. This company works more like an urgent care center that doesn't have to deal with follow up or extra correspondence. If your healthy this may be a safe place for you, but if you have preexisting conditions or chronic health problems find a more caring and diligent company that is willing to actually treat your needs as an individual patient. read more

First of all I have to say that I hated going to the dentist. All of my life I have had poor experiences. Until I had my first Dental appointment with Dr. Franckum at Valley View dental in Chehalis. First of all he was excellent at ensuring that I had all of the information I needed. Second, he actually gave me choices. He was kind and compassionate. He communicated every step of the was and repeatedly asked how I was doing. My first appointment I had lost a filling right in the front and he refilled it. It is the best filling work I have ever had done. Previous fillings in that tooth were always obvious and this time you can't even tell, in fact I think it looks even better than my original tooth looked before it was broken! I can go on and on about what a great dental experience I have had with this Dentist but the waiting period to get an appointment with him speaks volumes. Definitely worth waiting for especially if you have had nothing but bad experiences before! Thank you Dr. Franckum for taking care of your patients by treating them with kindness and respect! The doctors and dentists were perfectly nice and professional but dear lord the reception staff need to take a class on humanity and people skills . Worst service ever. Almost every time I go in I get in to see the dentist a half hour later. I know if I was a half hour late they would never see me but they want me to wait there forever to see them. Not only that but they refused to clean my teeth because I'm not a medical patient of Valley view. In order to get the full benefits my insurance covers I must be patient and both Valley View Medical and Valley view dental. read more

If there was a zero star option for Valley Spew I would still think it was too high. Several years ago I was seeing a provider named Julie Calderón there. I was having difficulty breathing and couldn't walk 10 feet without having to stop for breath. She diagnosed me with pneumonia and prescribed me a asthma inhaler for my breathing problems. After 4 more weeks of severe breathing and mobility problems and a couple refills on the inhaler that was supposed to last a month with no positive results, I asked to see a "real" Dr. as she was a P.A. or A.R.N.P. or some other such non-Dr. word salad. She brought in the Dr. and immediately he called for an ambulance and paramedics because I had severe congestive heart failure and needed to go to the hospital immediately. He told me that if she had interpreted my test results correctly, my c.h.f. was plainly visible. Valley Spew is so horrible that I immediately transferred to another Dr. and haven't been back since untill yesterday to go to a dental clinic there, as it is the only clinic in my area that will take my insurance. I needed to have my tooth pulled and so they did that and after they pulled it, said that they don't prescribe pain killers (narcotics) and that I would be fine with Tylenol and ibuprofin...... If they are fine with going against their hypocratic oath and just tossing patients out the door in pain, that should tell you all you need to know about this quack shop. If you are dying in the parking lot, have someone go inside to call the paramedics. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. Even then that would be too generous, as these guys easily deserve a -10. I've been going to this specific Valley View clinic for years, and the service used to be okay. In the last 2 years or so, however, they have gotten TERRIBLE. On the health side they are unprofessional and uncaring. On the DENTAL side, however, they are so bad I expected a hidden camera crew to come out at any moment and reveal I'd been pranked. I came here recently because I had severe tooth pain and this was the only dental clinic within a reasonable radius of my home that would take my insurance. They set me up with an appointment TWO WEEKS OUT for severe tooth pain, which, okay, sucked, but I didn't think too much of it because in my experience most dentists can't see you immediately, especially when you are on State insurance and they have a long list of patients that need to be seen. It wasn't until I showed up for my appointment that the real problems started. First of all, since this clinic automatically shares dental/medical records with both departments, there was a TON of confusion on their part as to whether or not I was still pregnant ( they'd had the same confusion earlier when I went to the health side for what turned out to be a yeast infection ). I told them I'd had the baby in late November of 2015 ( it was mid August of 2016 when I was seen ) and they flat-out did NOT believe me. As if that weren't bad enough they for some reason were not able to access their OWN RECORDS in a timely fashion, and it took them about 10 minutes to finally sort everything out and prove that yes, I was in fact telling the truth, and my pregnancy had been discovered in March of the previous year. So I brace myself, happy to finally get my tooth WORKED on as I had already had X-rays and was tired of popping Ibuprofen constantly just to function, when the dentist suddenly chooses that moment to announce that, since I have a heart murmer, they can't operate on me until they clear it up with the cardiologist who saw me. Now, I NEVER had a heart murmer, and I told them this. However, they run off on some story about how I mentioned it at another appointment and they needed to confirm. I told them they had me confused with another person, because I don't remember that AT ALL. However, they didn't believe me and refused to fix my tooth on that ground, saying that they would have to contact the person who saw me for the heart murmer. They were also worried that I might have pink-eye because my eyes were slightly reddish, even though I explained that I had not slept well the previous nights and my allergies were acting up a bit. The whole time this was transpiring the staff were incredibly rude and uncaring. Also, if they thought I had a heart-murmer, then why the HECK did they wait until I showed up to have my tooth fixed to tell me they needed to confirm with the doctor who supposedly saw me?!?! WHY did they let TWO WEEKS slip by, weeks in which I was SUFFERING, before bringing this up?! Negligence! Suffice it to say I was pretty unimpressed and unhappy, and I asked if I would be able to pick up my X-rays later because I was going to go to another dentist and didn't want to be exposed to more radiation. The receptionist said yeah, sure, I could come in any time. Well, today I went in to pick up said X-rays, and guess what? THERE IS A $25 CHARGE for me to pick them up, and charge I was NEVER informed about in advance, and which I was not expecting seeing as how EVERY OTHER DENTIST I HAVE BEEN TO HAS HANDED ME MY X-RAYS OVER FOR FREE! They said they could mail them to my new dentist for free, but as my appointment is tomorrow morning and the mail doesn't move that fast, I declined. Bad enough I now have to drive 20+ miles out of my way to be seen by another dentist who will take my insurance ( and who is hopefully more competant ), but now I have to be subjected to yet ANOTHER dose of radiation, and wait longer for the problem tooth to be fixed to boot. :( I will NEVER come back here again, and I am going to tell everyone I know that it's worth the drive to find someone, ANYONE else. Uncaring, unkind, unprofessional and totally incompetent. These people lose their own records and will happily toss you out of their clinic IN PAIN. Avoid at all costs! read more

I have been a patient with Valley View for 26 years and recently they have gotten worse and worse with scheduling. I have called to schedule appointments for me and my boyfriend and the receptionist with state like the last time that the appointment is on Wednesday, which I take to be the next Wednesday when they do not specify the date. I drive in from Oakville and twice now I have been told that the appointment is for the following week and they are sorry but there is no way to get us in because they are booked up. They need competant people that can specify the date instead of just saying Wednesday. read more

This indeed a terrible place to be both in dental and medical. I went way out in Onalaska to get clear away from peeps. However, even Onalaska let me down and to cover for themselves, they state that I demand Ativan as I have been taking that for nearly 6 years. That alone calls me having drug-seeking behavior, which is not true. I had a A1C that was over 10 and never had before, blood drawn (fiasco x 2), missed my appointments at times due to no call to remind me (first time could not find the clinic) as I am still new to the area. There are multiple problems with VV and they need to OWN IT. I have gone to another provider who is so much better and more organized. Valley View needs to restructure, all of its people and begin again. I have had teeth that have broken off and had to have oral surgery and paying out of my pocket for anesthesia and way in Olympia. Multiple times have been in there and a receptionist told me that Dr. Olsen (dental) is discharging me from the clinic and I am looking for letter that was promised with REASONS FOR THIS DISCHARGE from dental as well IN DETAIL. VV is horrible in both medical and dental. It is a shame that they are the ONLY CLINIC in the area that I know of that do dental work and that is not optimal. I am finding VV will make it YOUR FAULT instead of cleaning up their mess of a clinic. Shame on YOU. read more
