I went to this shop to have a spoiler placed on my car and was informed they could do it. The lady Tina even told me there was another WRX at the business next door that they've worked on. I was promised it would be ready in 1 day and was then given the run-around. I was told they were going to start working on it the day it was supposed to be ready. Then after calling to see if it was ready, they told me parts were missing. I told them the box had just been delivered to me from the dealer and all the parts should be there. Still, I never received a call back and I had to keep calling them. Finally, on the following day, I called them that morning and was told it would be ready by 5pm. I arrived at 4:45pm and it still wasn't ready. Ended up waiting an hour to get my car, then a part was missing, and they refused to pay to replace it. I would NEVER recommend this shop. The staff is very unprofessional, they have several cats in their office, the smell was horrible. Since I was referred to them, I went ahead and let them do the work but had to do everything outside because their building had a bad smell. This is exactly why I wanted to take a few minutes out of my busy day just simply to say thank you to Valley Wide Collision for their professionalism and personal care I received (for the 2nd time) at VWC. I want to give a personal thanks to Tina for her help. I'm a very difficult person I'm sure to please, especially when it comes to my car, but VWC made her look good as new again and stayed in communication with me throughout the repairs. **disclaimer** My name is Kaylyn- I don't have a yelp account. Posting from a friends established account so that I know it's seen. It's easy to get a decent star rating when you live in a small town with lots of family and friends around to help promote the business. I learned that the hard way - so I hope if you're looking for a good quality auto body shop based on reviews- read this thru and thru. I got rearended on the freeway on 09/04/2018. They hit me hard enough to push me into the car ahead of me so I needed both bumpers and my exhaust replaced. I have a Subaru WRX, and my car is my pride and joy. So right away I was heart broken. I based my decision for this collision center on the reviews that I had seen. 4 stars- seemed like the cleanest and best in town. Right away they arranged a tow and got my car to their shop. I let my husband take over while I focused on month end at work. They gave us an estimated 10 business days until my car would be ready. Perfect- my insurance only covered up to $400 for a rental anyway. Car was towed in 09/05- an estimate was sent and approved by my insurance on 09/14. My husband got a call around the 24th that my car was done and for him to come check it out to see if it was acceptable. My husband called me while I was at work and told me how horrible it looked. He wouldn't even look at it because he knew I would flip my lid. The bumpers didn't even match my car. They chipped the quarter panel during assembly. And Mark (the shop estimator) simply gave him the option to take it as is- or he could "request" for a paint blend since it's such a unique bright red. Obviously this was unacceptable and it was requested to be fixed. When my husband left the shop on the 26th he told mark to blend it. He said he didn't care if the insurance denied the request or not - blend it and make it match, we will pay out of pocket and fight the fight with insurance later. October 1st rolls around and my car still hasn't even been touched. Now I'm pissed. My deposit and entire allowed balance for a rental had been used up and I was stuck paying out of pocket for the rental just waiting for my car to be done. So I finally took matters into my own hands and dealt with Tina (shop owner) myself. Tina sent my insurance an email (because apparently the request was denied which is why they didn't do it EVEN THOUGH we said we would pay out of pocket.) So Tina takes over and promises me that it will be ready on Friday October 5th. I told her to have it done. With or without insurance approval- I will pay- I just want my car back. I leave work early and show up October 5th around 4pm and my car HASNT BEEN TOUCHED. STILL!!!! Mark comes out with a smirk on his face and absolutely 0 answer as to why my car wasn't done. I demand to speak with Tina who explains to me that she was sick for two days and doesn't know why my car wasn't done. And then proceeds to say that the blend was originally denied and just recently approved by insurance so they can proceed now. I blew up about how she lied, didn't honor her word, and screwed me into paying even more on a damn rental. Tina insisted that my insurance agreed to pay for my entire rental- which I knew was a lie so I called my claims adjuster on speaker and had her tell Tina directly right in front of everyone that they weren't. She blatantly told Tina that the timeliness was on them and they should be responsible for rental expenses. I'm am enraged at this point because of the measures that I had to go to prove these people as the liars they are. I have my own beef with my insurance company - trust me. But I specifically told Tina AFTER my husband specifically told Mark a week prior to GET IT DONE and WE WOULD PAY. Nope. Nothing. So once again- I have my shit box rental that IM PAYING OUT OF POCKET for another 3 days until my car is ready. Tina understood my frustration and agreed and I quote "this is a $6000 job, if I have to pay a $100 for your rental then I guess I will" So let's fast forward to earlier today when I pick up my car. My bumpers match- it's a miracle. Tina comes out to look at it with me while mark gathers the paperwork. Tina disappears and I go inside with mark and he explains my bill to me. (Had to pay my deductible) I asked about my rental. Mark goes to ask Tina and Tina was too much of a coward to come and speak to me directly so mark comes back and says that she hasn't heard back from my insurance about clarifying the rental coverage so they wouldn't be covering it but "you can contact your lawyer if you'd like" as if it was some sort of joke. Jokes on you, ValleyWideCollision. I've paid my dues, including $669 for a rental, but it's not over. Choosing this place based on reviews was one of my biggest mistakes. Tina I hope you are ashamed of yourself and mark with his smirky little attitude. I am a Subaru enthusiast and my husband is an off-road enthusiast. Where else can you go and get your car fixed in less than half an hour. I know, sounds too good to be true, but it happened to me for a minor repair. I had backed into the open door of my sister's car and the door wouldn't close. This was just before my leaving town. It would have "grounded" her and I wasn't sure what to do. I called my mechanic and he recommended Valley Wide. I called a friend who had recently had repair work done and he recommended Valley Wide. So, I drove the car to Valley Wide. I was bracing myself for a huge quote and a distant repair appointment. The young lady behind the counter asked me the problem. She inspected the door and said that it didn't look like I'd broken anything. She then said she'd charge me for an hour or two, if more time was needed, and did I want to wait for it. I was shocked that they could take me on no notice. Of course I said yes and went to the lobby to wait. Less than half an hour later, the car was done at the rate promised. What a relief. The adjuster and the mechanic both accompanied me to the car so I could inspect the door and to explain what they had done to fix it. This is exceptional and personal customer service. The shop has a very large parking lot and looked very clean, unlike most other body shops I have seen. To me, that shows they take pride in their company and respect for their customers. My experience was for a minor repair, but I would expect that they'd handle any repair in a fair and expedient manner. Obviously, I'd recommend this shop. read more

The worse service you will ever get!!! It's like everyone that works there doesn't give a flying crap about you. It took them 24 days to fix a little finder bender. When they quoted me 7-10 days!!! My sister flipped her car and it took only 11 days to fix at another local shop. explain that !!! Then when the car was finally done they had the nerve to tell me oh we can't give it to you yet because your insurance hasn't payed us yet they sent a check in the mail and we are waiting for it still. Absolutely terrible! I got in a car accident in February and took it right in, they took forever to finish. I received it and immediately it broke down. I had to get it towed in Winchester and had to pay out of pocket for the tow and I was not reimbursed until I picked up the car the second time. I picked it up the second time and there were still problems, I didn't have it for even 8 hours before something was wrong with it both times. They're excuse was that they didn't do ANY of the mechanical work on it, they sent it out to another shop for that. I specifically went to this place because I went in and asked if it was a full body shop that did mechanical work as well, I was told yes. They sent it to the dealership and it needed an entirely new transmission. THEY GAVE IT BACK TO ME WITH A SCREWED UP TRANSMISSION! I was also given my car back with a chip in the window and they told me to just talk to my insurance they should take care of it, even though Valley Wide Collision should fix it considering it was not there prior to taking it to this horrible establishment. They brush everything off as if it were nothing, it is like they don't give a damn that their service is terrible. Although they are not the ones doing the mechanical work they are responsible for giving me my vehicle in a working condition, especially because I had no clue they were taking it another shop. I have had my car for a week and I have to take it back again because it is still screwed up. More than likely I am taking the vehicle to a place that will ACTUALLY fix it. Then while These people had my car and while it was in their 'My car was broken into (smashed out window ) and then they stole my Bluetooth Touch Screen stereo DVD player.... I ask them what they plan to do about it and the lady at the front desk says we didn't have your keys... Well thanks for calling me 4 days later, and after the incident to tell me you didn't have keys.... My Car Dealer had my car for over a month no I am not kidding!!! and didn't fix the problem, had me almost believing I should just junk my car and start over, especially with the outrageous prices they were trying to charge me. So I towed my car home not knowing what to do, then I found Valley Wide Collision and now my baby is back alive lol. They had no problem fixing my car in a timely manner and the prices just couldn't be beat. Valley prices were shockingly reasonable I'm thinking in my head yeah right this has to just be the quote, the real peach will be the finished price like always. Nope the quote they gave was very close to the final bill it wasn't just something pulled out of thin air, there was no gasp or any shock induce heart palpitations when the final bill came like at most places. The Communication was great I was always aware of what was going on and where they were in the process of the job, and not just at home like have they even started on my car. AVOID AT ALL COST **update** They do not have a certified technician to work on hybrids, they are not allowed to touch the hybrid battery. This was not disclosed when we brought up the battery issues. Very disappointed in this shop, the owner (Tina) has no sense of customer service. She is very rude, disrespectful and is manipulative. My father dropped off the car about a month ago, Tina (the owner) took down the information about what was wrong with the vehicle which included battery issues. Israel was very helpful during this time. Please note that I knew nothing about the vehicles condition, I knew my father was having issues with the battery but was not aware it started happening after the accident. Tina hands me the paperwork and tells me about the battery issues. I called my father after and found out that was something they were supposed to look at but obviously didn't even check. I call Tina to ask what happened and she pins everything on me, when I ask her what was written on the paper when the car was dropped off she proceeded to tell me that she didn't know because she didn't write it (keep in mind she was the one creating the report at drop off). She became very hostile when I asked what they did to check to see if the battery had been tested/checked since my dad had informed them of the potential damage. Again her response was she didn't know. I asked her to call me back when she checks and refused to do so. I will be escalating this matter. A thorough inspection should have been done which they obviously neglected to do thanks to the lack of communication on the owners behalf. AVOID THIS COLLISION CENTER AT ALL COSTS 0/10 read more
