This is my second experience with Autohaus Bavaria, and once again they exceeded my expectations. Last year, I brought my car in for a no crank, no start issue. They quickly diagnosed it as a faulty starter and replaced it. The entire process was smooth and efficient, and I haven't had a single issue since. From start to finish, the experience was unbeatable. This time, I brought my car in for a clunking noise from the suspension, a significant oil leak, and an issue with the passenger automatic seat not working properly. They diagnosed everything accurately and honestly. The clunking turned out to be a loose bolt on the sway bar, and they tightened it without charging me. The oil leak was addressed properly and thoroughly. The best part was the seat repair. They fixed it without charging me because no parts needed to be replaced. That level of honesty is rare and truly appreciated. The quality of work is consistently high, and the turnaround time is hard to beat. During my first visit, Paul assisted me and provided excellent customer service. This time, Joel helped me and was just as professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Both experiences left me feeling confident and well taken care of. It is not easy finding mechanics who are straightforward about what is actually needed and who do not try to upsell unnecessary repairs. Horrible. Gave them a thousand dollars to repair an intake manifold gasket. And it came out needing a whole new engine harness because they broke the wires that connect to the coils. They gave me the vehicle back and it couldn't even go over 35 mph. After I took it to the dealership because these guys said they couldn't fix what they had broken. The dealership told me it would need a whole new harness and they shorted my ECM so I in total it would cost 12k to repair. The vehicle was only 3 years old so their excuse of "wear n tear" is total bs. Not to mention they had the vehicle for over two weeks. I'm very unsatisfied and low key feel like this is a lawsuit. They never mentioned any of these things until I went home with the vehicle and noticed it wouldn't accelerate and the engine light was on. In result we had to trade the vehicle in to get another one and are now upside down on the loan. This was for a GLS 450. What could improve this situation is if they paid me back the money I spent to repair the vehicle and the difference in the loan for having to buy a whole new car due to the damage. read more

Our incredible S550 is purring again (after being declared nearly worthless by the dealer). The car, thanks to Autohaus staff Paul and Joel, purrs again like the $125 thousand dollar feline beast it once was. Was it simply an error by Temecula's mechanics...? No mind now. Autohaus's caring staff made us well again and put an end to several days of anxious worry. Because our car was such a fine specimen of Mercedes luxury, we had been spending thousands on getting tiny little items fixed at the selling dealer. Not sure what happened here. I called and made an appointment to stop in with my new, used car. The owner met me and we spent quite a bit of time looking at the car and creating a list of work to be done. He then took me into the office and entered everything into the computer and took my contact info. He told me he would work up a price quote and get back to me. It has now been two weeks. Never heard a thing. I guess they don't need my business? Too bad. Found another European auto mechanic and have now hired them to do the work. Thousands of dollars worth. Ridiculous. read more

Looking to have some service done on my German Cars. Very disappointed, I called this shop for appt 4 times, and also sent emails. waited more than a month then I did it all over again. They never returned my calls or emails. one day I decided to drive over and they were closed but what I saw was disturbing. I seen a customers Black Porsche Cayenne in the parking lot with the Moon roof open and it was raining. The next day I went over there to set appointment. The guy looked at my car and set appointment. He was not friendly and looked like a Mexican cartel mafia guy..LOL after that I went home to read the online reviews clicking on "Lowest score" reviews. Has your car ever broken down on a trip away from home? If so, you know the panic and stress that comes with it. That's exactly what happened to me, and Autohaus Bavaria saved the day!! I (female) was driving through Hemet on a solo trip to Indian Wells when my Mini Cooper Countryman suddenly started slowing down on a major street and went into "limp mode," meaning the engine warning light came on and I could not go any faster than 15mph. Of course I was angry and frustrated and had no clue what the heck I was going to do since it was 4:55pm and I had no idea of any service shops in the area. A quick Google search brought up Autohaus Bavaria. I quickly called them and spoke to the owner. I explained my situation and desperation and asked if there was anyway he could look at it even though it was basically closing time. He was kind enough to say he would wait for me to (slowly) drive there and he'd check the codes. Upon arrival he checked the codes and determined exactly what was wrong. He said he could order the parts and get it fixed for me the next day. I was overjoyed, but then immediately concerned about the cost and possibly being taken advantage of as a woman. I needn't have worried! The owner printed out an estimate that was very fair (I actually called my regular mechanic to get his opinion too) and said he could fix it the following morning once he got the parts and he'd have it done before noon. Not only that, but he went above & beyond to help me by calling Hertz rental (the only car rental open until 6pm) and arranged a Lyft to take me there. My car ended up being repaired and ready for me by 10:30 the next morning! I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was by the service provided by Autohaus Bavaria. If they hadn't stayed past 5pm to help me I would have been stranded in a unfamiliar small town with very few options. Not only that, but they also did a high-quality repair on my Mini for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them! read more

I brought in my car and these guys seemed very knowledgeable and excited to work on the car. The shop was immaculate and organized. I was excited to have them work on several cars, and was looking to do quite a bit of business. Everything good stopped there. I waited a day for a diagnosis and estimate without a call. When I called at 4:45 (Friday) they had already left or stopped answering the phone. I went in Monday morning and was given a 5 minute nervous explanation of how they had been very busy diagnosing by simply reading the computer codes but still needed more time. (5 or 10 minutes of work made to sound like 5 hours of labor but I let it slide) I called the following day for an update and was given the craziest huge estimate beyond anything I have ever received before. Even beyond the dealer estimate for the same work. (And they would have given me a loaner car and nice car wash!) I spoke with the owner and expressed my concerns, and he chose not to adjust the estimate. I paid the $125 charge for the estimate, which told me exactly what I already knew about the car. When I went out to the car the dirty plastic engine top covers were sitting on the back seat of my freshly detailed car and the engine pan cover was hanging down on the ground. A real shame. I was looking forward to finding a good local shop and doing business in my community. read more

If you can afford to drive an import car take it to Autohaus Bavaria in San Jacinto Ca for any type of work. They care about the job and take car of your car like they wrote the check to buy it themselves. They even do a better job than the Jaguar dealer. Case in point I needed a spare key for my 1999 XJ8 L. Drove 67 miles the nearest Jag dealer that had a key for that year. Paid $158. for the key then the service Dept had to program the key to start the car for another $175. Service spent 2 1/2 hours trying to get the key to start the car. They failed and told me I would have to leave the car for 5 days so the could download data so that my old computer would accept the new key code. My only complaint is that the owner always acted like he was doing me a favor getting my business and taking my money. The last straw was when I spent a considerable amount for a radiator and water pump. What you expect to pay for a Mercedes. But I got a rude phone call from him bitching at me because I couldn't get there that day to pick up my car before closing time. He has a big lot. It was nothing to him. Just more of his bad attitude. I found another place to patronize after that. read more

This was my go to shop, I was recommended to it since there aren't many shops that work on bmw around here. They were always good people so I also recommended people. But it's until recently where I needed a big job done on my car and these people let me down big time. So I need to get the turbo replaced on my bmw and I had talked to Joel about a couple times, he would tell me it's an easy job this and that. So I had an appointment set like 2 weeks prior. The two weeks came I took my car in and left it with all the parts necessary for the job (this guy literally passed on thousands of dollars of just labor).. so one week passes, I gave him a phone call to see how things were going, he told me he hadn't checked it out. 2nd week I don't call . 3rd week I call and still hasn't looked at it. So almost a month there an this guy didn't even bother to look at the car.. so I get the car 3.5 weeks later and took it to SpeedLogic in Fullerton. Got an estimate in 30 minutes. Job done in 4 days . I would definitely recommend SPEEDLOGIC AUTOMOTIVE in Fullerton if you want to real with professional..... these people will give you the whole turn around.. I Have been bringing my BMW to these guys for about a year now - All I have to say is Ive been ripped off before but never like this ,,, I had them replace a worn serpentine belt a month ago then I had a faulty oil cooler hose that was leaking bad. After they replaced my faulty oil cooler hose my new belt fell apart while driving it 50 miles away right after the new hose was installed - shredding the belt all over front of the engine. To make things even worse my car stopped on the frwy right on a middle lane in the middle of the night, I could easily have been killed where my car stopped. I had to get 911 on the line immediately for assistance and got towed off the freeway. I had my car towed to these guys and told them my new belt had shredded! The owner had replaced the new belt for free but charged me $600 to clean the A/C system from the belt shreds! WTF ? Really ? I will never take my car back there again! read more

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I took my BMW to them multiple times and trusted them with repairing many items. Not only were they OVERLY priced, but they on multiple incidents failed to actually repair the broken items. I eventually ended up purchasing the broken part and replacing it myself (which actually solved the problem) and it cost me $159, despite paying the $450 to them that they refused to reimburse me and or "meet me half way" on. Since then I've avoided them like the plague! Stay away from this business unless you enjoy being cheated out of your hard earned cash because they have no problems accepting your money for half "a**" work! read more

Brought in a Porsche for a transmission repair. There was no engine oil leak but the tech recommended having the rear main seal change while he did the transmission. So after $7000 later, transmission was perfect but now the engine leaks oil. Leaves a small puddle everywhere I go. Makes a mess in my garage and driveway. Embarrassing going to friends or going out to nice placrs where it leaves oils everywhere. This shop is 45 minutes from my house and I brought the car back several times wasting my time and they kept denying its leaking when its leaving oil puddles everywhere so they could save money and time when they screwed up installing the seal. Very dissapointing. There was no leak before and now it leaks and it actually cost me extra labor and material for him to do the rear main seal. Never going back again. They won't admit to their mistakes. Come on just paid for a $7,000 repair and that's how they treat you. read more

This places deserves no star at all. As the owner said joyfully, "In here we can fix anything even how much it would cost." Then he laughs. It is just a clean place though. But for a mechanic shop, don't ever go to this place. Not unless if you want to deposit your hard earned money here. Got to find really good mechanics elsewhere. We spent more than $800 still nothing changed. He doesn't seemed to know exactly what is wrong even with the diagnostic which by the way cost $94.50. But he kept talking like he knows a lot and kept suggesting which he thought to be prioritized but at the end of the day, it didn't work then another diagnostic and more problems to come. If you will be shelling more than $2000 for fixing your car and still more to expect. You better trade it in or better find a really good mechanic who knows what is the problem by simply "hearing" the customers complaints or just by listening to how the car sounds. With all the diagnostic tools which are computerized and they are still not able to fix it, somehow. Then it's obvious, they ain't good mechanics. As a bank they are good. Nothing here is free or done out of courtesy. read more

I have taken my BMW to this shop multiple times. I always get the best service possible! They are very detail oriented, keeping my car as clean as possible inside and out. They give me a detailed diagnosis very quickly and they take care of my car at a very reasonable price, way cheaper than the dealer. I am always skeptical going to auto repair shops as a female because they tend to see a female and think they can take advantage. Autohaus does NOT do this at all and I felt very comfortable with them from the start. I have been beyond pleased with their work. When I took my car to the BMW dealer to possibly trade it in, they were very impressed with the fact I had taken my car to Autohaus. The dealer knows their work and reputation and appreciates the quality of their work. It was a great feeling to have the dealer know my mechanic and have positive things to say about them. first off I have a older Mercedes took it to these guys to fix transmission leak and oil leak, the car was running fine other than these issues I was getting tired of it leaving its mark in the driveway. so I've been traveling and kept in contact to find out what needed to be done, long story short they told me there was a part that needed replacing and they had to check another shop cuz it may needed to be pressed out and in I said ok keep me posted. then they called asking when I was going to pick up the car' so when I was on my way to pick it up I called them to give them a heads up. got there paid for diagnostic and started the car it ran ruff was idling good they gave me a story bout its been sitting?? lol so I figured id drive it open it up to clear out old gas then while driving the car noticed the speedometer wasn't working didn't have time to investigate but when I did notice they broke the piece that the speedometer cable goes into now I have to spend more money to fix my car to get everything woking again word to the wise if you have a older car you might want to find somewhere else, if it doesn't have the port to plug in and tell them what's wrong they don't seem to know how to diagnose the problem how is it that I picked my car up in worse condition than when I dropped it off ???? not happy with these guys I was hoping for a better outcome and finding a shop to service my cars read more

Wasn't too happy about how I was treated here by the owner, Juan. I brought my car there because I have an Audi and one day my car overheated and the coolant system went all over the ground. Gary, who works in the office and in OWS alot about cars, treated me so great, but when I picked up my car after paying over $500 to get it fixed noticed that they broke the arm that keeps the cars hood up. I went back to the business and asked why I wasn't told that they broke this part when working on my car. Jesus the mechanic said it fell on his head. I think that when working on the heater hoses, he had to move the hood back and broke the arm somehow. I told the owner that I need alot of things worked on and was hoping to find a mechanic I could trust in San Jacinto. He came back with, you have alot of things wrong with this car and you're worried about this? I couldn't believe he said that! I was hoping that this shop was one I could trust as a woman and bring my car back to, to have future work done there, but apparently not. Prices are extremely better than the dealership - PepBoys tried to charge me $511 for a bearing, they did the same exact job for about half the price. I am a little behind on posting this review. About two months ago, I took my Mercedes in for the routine oil change and Dave asked if anything else need to be looked at. I said in passing that I have been smelling gas both inside and outside on my car. He said Angel would check it out and he would give me a call. Later that afternoon Dave called and informed me that I had a leak in my gas tank which is an expensive fix. After asking for the price of the repair he told me that Angel had done some research and that a service bulletin was issued and that they called the dealership and all I needed to do was to contact a dealer of choice and that the repair was completely covered by Mercedes. I can't believe that they took the time to research and save me thousand of dollars. I have taken multiple cars to Dave over the past years and I have always had great service.
