He was also in the process of closing but helped me anyway. He went over and above what anyone would do in this scenario. It's a little late posting this because I forgot to do it when I left the store, but I hope he sees this and remembers who I am. It was $20 to run a diagnostic on it, and they told me they would call me in a couple of days. They called and told me that the Kindle started right up during the diagnostic test. I guess it had to be reset or something. I was told to bring in both of my chargers to check them out. I did just that, and there was nothing wrong with the chargers. Also, my Kindle was working and there hasn't been an issue with it since. They could have just said it was the battery and charged me more money to replace it. I wouldn't have known the difference, but they told me I didn't need one. I have a friend who used to take her laptop to the one on Dale Mabry before it closed. She was very happy with their service. In fact, she's unhappy because they are no longer there, and didn't know they had a shop in Brandon. Now she knows after I told her about my experience. Hopefully I won't need to come back any time soon, but this is the place where I'd bring my Kindle or laptop in for repair if ever needed.
