Eddie (Edan) is the best, and you want him running your project if you have general contracting work. Highlights: Great build end result, clear and quick communication, on-time and quality work, including fantastic sub-contractors. Eddie worked with us to add-on an additional bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet, complete with french doors, and stucco to match our existing house. Scope of work: -Worked with his architect to design our project, work within city building codes, and get our plans approved, accurately and fast. -Removed a mature tree -Relocated existing AC compressor from backyard to roof and reconnected system (done in several hours) -Installed mini-split for the new room -Relocated electrical panel running to power pole -Dug and poured foundation, framed, installed windows and doors, seamlessly attached roof to existing roof, insulation, matching drywall, recessed lighting with dimmers, & electrical including plugs and installing fixtures. -Plumbing for new bathroom, including connecting sewer to existing line, and beautiful tile installation. -Small deck with composite decking. -Artificial turf for the backyard All of our inspections were approved on the first pass, and Eddie was able to get multiple inspections complete at once, worked with the city and power company through all steps of the process, and made it all easy. Eddie made sure we knew exactly when people were showing up to do work, and we had no surprises. He was there throughout all steps of the process to make sure the contractors knew exactly what needed to be done, and communicated any changes we may have had, and made sure everything was done right. The finished product. We love it. All our friends and family have told us how seamlessly the new room integrates into our existing house, and how nice the room and backyard turned out. We selected the finishes: Flooring, tile, lighting, shower door, door and window sizes, stucco color, and Eddie worked with us to bring them to life. He allows you to bring your own style to the project, and executes your vision, but he also brings his experience and expertise to make sure you select finishes that will last and work well together. read more

Eddie was a terrific general contractor, who helped me turn my garage into an ADU. He is honest, communicated with me almost daily, and made sure the whole process was easy. He has a "can do" attitude where things were taken care of quickly and without unnecessary stress. In short, he gets things done. I highly recommend Eddie and his sub contractors. read more

Looking for a contractor? Someone you can trust? Someone who does what he says? Who doesn't nickel-and-dime, and does great work at a more than fair price? Talk to Eddie Faygenov owner of Value Up Renovation and Construction. Eddie is a very laid back professional who never gets excited and even if a minor hiccup happens to occur, just quietly takes care of it. His crew works hard, does first quality work and did a great job on my bathroom remodel. There's a reason he's got all 5-Star ratings on Yelp. He's earned it. read more

Not once have I had a General Contractor and a team of sub-contractors consistently show up, be on time EVERY time, follow through with work on time as promised AND stay on budget. Edan (Eddie) is transparent with information and his abilities from the moment you meet him to the day you complete your project. I can recall countless observations during the months we did business where he treated his workers with kindness and led with laughter. He's truly a good human. We felt comfortable with all teams that came to our home and they seemed to really enjoy their work. So hard to find! Once you agree on the work, be ready to pick up that phone, make decisions and move quickly! He's extremely dedicated and motivated to get your project done. We actually miss seeing him daily now that we're done! We got everything we asked for and we LOVE our renovation. Scope of work: * Remodel existing pool - New plaster, coping & tiles; addition of Baja shelf & swim-up bench; new ozone pool equipment system. * Waterproof pool deck overlay * New driveway pavers and drainage from house downspouts to street * Smooth stucco on house and over brick chimneys * Concrete privacy wall with cedar topper * Paint on trim of house, doors, gutter/downspouts and back studio * Concrete pad for large fountain and filled uneven areas on deck before overlay * Rebuild of studio doorway and window * Reframed and replace side door read more

Edan (Eddie) is easily the best contractor I have ever worked with. Our Project included: - Removing and Filling a defunct swimming pool, including compacting the soil so it could be built upon. - Completely remodeling the back of the house. Including removing a bad chimney and changing the roof structure. - Adding a Master Bedroom and Bathroom to back of the house. - Expanding our Living Room. - adding a concrete deck to the backyard. - and Repainting the exterior This was not an easy project but Edan and his team of excellent sub-constractors got it done under Time and on Budget at a high level of quality. The thing that sticks out to me on this project was his excellent communication. He was always very responsive and always was willing to listen to our ideas and concerns and if there was any problem, as there always are on these projects, he was very transparent about it and committed to solving it to our satisfaction. Besides being just a nice person, his professionalism and dedication to seeing this project to completion was awesome! Thank you so much Eddie! We love our Remodel and will definitely be calling you in the future read more

Eddie and his crew are absolutely amazing. This was the first time that I have experienced a pain free construction/remodel experience. First of all the work was super well done but it was also done on budget and faster than estimated even with a holiday in the middle. Eddie is a wonderful partner and lovely to work with. He is communicative, checks in everyday, is always onsite and available via text and phone. Eddie and his crews always wore masks were super clean and professional. The work was beyond expectation and I will be using Value Up and construction for every future project. read more

We had used this company previously with our driveway. This time we needed to clean and paint our house after 10 1/2 years of neglect. The team was very professional, efficient, and diligent. They were always on time and on schedule. They kept us informed of what work had been done and what was left. They were attentive to details that needed repair beyond what was asked. The house looks even better than when we moved in. And Eddie as always was incredibly professional and attentive to customer service. He showed up every day to check in with the painters and with us to make sure we were happy with the progress. He made sure to do a follow up right after the work was 'done' to get our final approval. Eddie and his team make this process painless and ensure the final product is stellar. read more

My wife and I decided to convert our garage to a rental unit studio apartment. After interviewing several companies we met with Eddie from Value Up Renovation and Construction. Soon after we decided to use his services and we are lucky we did. I hired Eddie's company, Value Up, to convert my garage to a studio ADU with full kitchen, bath and walk in closet. As you can see from the final pictures, everything looks amazing. I get endless compliments, especially on the custom skylight shower. A project with this many details takes time, and sometimes there are bumps along the way. A General Contractor should be judged on how he handles those bumps, like when city inspectors become picky or subcontractors don't perform to expectation. Eddie stood behind what he told from Day One- he wouldn't sign off on the project until every last detail was resolved and I was completely satisfied. He personally coordinated and supervised all the final touches and in the end it came out great! read more

Edan is a wonderful General Contractor. We hired him to renovate one of our bathrooms; I'm a designer and had specific requests/specs that other contractors found too difficult and declined. Edan was more than up to the challenge AND gave us a very reasonable quote. He brought in qualified, dependable craftsmen for each discipline. Our home was built in 1947 and as happens with any remodel of an older home, when the walls, ceilings and floors are opened up, there are all sorts of surprises and plans change; the simple becomes more difficult. Edan handled every surprise with professional calm and expertise. He was always a quick phone call away; either answered immediately or called back within minutes: a rarity with contractors! The work was done in a very timely manner and everything is tip-top. Edan stands 100% behind his work. read more

They say you can never trust a contractor. Well now you can! Ask for Edan. He was the sweetest, kindest, most honorable and trustworthy contractor I've ever worked with. Not only did he finish a week earlier than promised, he stayed on budget. No hidden fees or up charges. My wife and I were on an extremely tight schedule doing a renovation right before having our first child. Edan got it all done and us back home before the baby! It was a miracle! Everyone said it would be impossible and I'm convinced if I had worked with anyone else it would've been. I can't thank Edan and his team enough. Eddie and his team are exactly what you hope for from a contractor. We had a tight timeline for renovations on our new condo and they delivered. There was a little bit of everything in the project - electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and more and it was all handled on time and for the quoted price. Eddie was easy to get in touch with for questions, kept us up to date on the scheduling and, most importantly, did exactly what he said he would do. The work was timely, all options were clear and fully explained, there was no up-selling, and everything we needed was done well and professionally. Highly recommended. read more

I had an ADU completed by Value Up Construction. The owner Eddie and his crew were very professional and took care of me from beginning to end. There were deadlines created from the beginning and they still managed to complete my job earlier than our deadline. Project Manager Jairo took pride in every task which was completed from ground up. He was mindful of all my preferences and wishes for the job while going above and beyond to make it all happen. These things made me happy that I had chosen the right company. In the end my ADU was completed professionally and permitted. The job came out beautiful and the investment was well worth it. To anyone considering construction, I will tell you Eddie and Jairo are top notch professionals who will assist you through the sometime stressful process. I am very happy with no regrets! I look forward to doing more business with Value Up Renovation & Construction in the future should an opportunity come. read more

Eddie Faygenov and his crews have been part of our lives since the beginning of 2022. They replaced one shower, renovated our master bath completely, and restored our extensive trellises in our back yard. He was responsive and responsible throughout, as were his teams. Eddie is truly an honorable human being and treats his crews with respect. I consider him a part of my family now and would not hesitate to call on him for anything. I keep dreaming up new things that we might do so that we can have him come back. We feel very fortunate that our neighbors recommended him to us. One caveat only and this has to do with you, the client. By his own admission, Eddie is a contractor, not a designer. You need to do your research and know what you want, especially if you have an artistic bent. Because he works efficiently, those decisions come at you fast and furious. Be ready. He is a great problem solver, has great resources and informed opinions, but he won't make those decisions for you (nor should he really.) I cannot recommend Value Up Construction more highly. read more

Eddie, Jose and their team are great. We hired them to rebuild the exterior stairs on our hill home and they look wonderful. They have transformed the stairs into a safe, beautiful climb. I had to take a minute from my busy busy schedule to write something about these guys. Ok! So I was not planning on changing my roof in the foreseen future. However, unexpectedly my roof started deteriorating and I had no other choice but to replace it completely. I was referred by a good friend of Value Up Renovation and Construction and they're we able to come the same day to estimate the work that needed to be done. I shopped around a few other companies in my area but no one beat their great prices. Within a week of scheduling I had a brand new roof over my head. The reason I am mentioning this is because I have a baby at home and it is such a hassle to remodel anything at home with little ones running around. The fact that they made it so easy, convienient, and so fast is the reason I am writing this review. I highly recommend their services and if I ever needed to replace or upgrade anything in my home it would be them that I choose. Thanks again Value Up Construction. You guys are highly appreciated. read more
