Kent Store customer service doesn't exist- manager is worthless...Can't give zero stars? Spent $250, of which was a desk for my son. Had to run home to borrow neighbors truck for desk, returned at 9pm exactly for desk pickup. They wouldnt let me get my already purchased deck because of some policy that they can't open doors after 9pm... they just looked at me while shaking there headheads back and forth... wasted my time and my neighbors generosity in barrowing the truck. I'm so done with this store! Besides, Ross is cheaper and has much better selection for clothes. read more

This store is so lacking on manners from there staff There is 3 cool cashier s there the rest are just hard core rude jerks,blond lady who wears glasses hates her job and coworkers,so I herd her say,and the bigger Latino?hawian? Good selection Not sure what's up with the pricing - very inconsistent, some high quality items marked very low (which is nice), however some brand new stuff is priced higher than it would be in the retail store, as are some "brand name" items that are stained and/or ripped Staff can be a little rude and pushy when they are stocking items, cashiers are usually friendly read more

This store is hit and miss for me in my hunt for vintage wear. PARKING: Private lot in a strip mall. There is always parking here. SELECTION/CONSISTENCY: For me, the consistency isn't there. I would say about 1 of 3 times I come in here I find something that makes the trip worth the gamble. I would not recommend going out of your way if you're looking for vintage wear. Since reopening from the COVID-19 shutdown, this store has made a nice comeback with more space and some good bargains. Sure there are some high prices but there is always a discount available. The employees are respectful. read more

Not sure what is happening at my favorite thrift store but it was super dirty and disgusting. Maybe all the cleaning staff quit...? I used to live around this area but still come back here for the deals. Most everything is affordable and the selection is great. Come in on special days for additional discounts. However, some of the pricing might not be the cheapest. It is to be expected though since they guess the prices to the best of their ability, Parking is plentiful read more

Organized? - yes Clean? - for the most part Friendly? - most of the time Inexpensive? - definitely not Thrift stores are very popular and some have taken advantage to raise their prices. As others have stated, some of their prices are 90% of what you would find at a WalMart or Ross. I hunt for old records and most thrift stores in the area price them at 25 cents to $2. Here they are $5.99 - $9.99. Yikes! I guess if they can get some folks to buy them at that price then more power to them. It is a balance of providing cheap goods to those on a budget and generating as much revenue as possible to fund their programs. This place is definitely trying for the latter. I will not be visiting again anytime soon. read more

I have consistently had a great experience shopping here - the store is usually very clean, everything is well organized, and I thought the prices on kids clothing were very fair for most pieces. Very easy to find what I was looking for by size and type of clothing. It is light years better than Goodwill, which is always disorganized and messy. And there wasn't that cloying thrift store smell. The employee who rang me up was friendly and helpful, and sounded excited about the mission of the store to support a charity. read more

Prices higher then eBay on video games like its supposed to be a thrift store and now there priceing like online sites come on people these items are given to you freely so why rip people off and over price stuff if you gonna over price then put it on eBay and take off the shelf you make your store look bad . read more

It was my first time at value village. The merchandise maybe a bit overpriced, but the staff is nice and helpful. I had Arvin as my cashier he was friendly and knew his job well and he told me all about what they do there. He explained why donating is important and how it benefitted northwest center a charity for the disabled. I believe staff is what makes a store great and unique. I had two 15% off cards. The cashier told me that there are new cards and that she had to take my cards. She rudely demanded that I give her the cards. She did not give me a new card with 30% off. She saw that I had earned 20% off on my account and gave me a new card with 20% off. So basically she took my cards worth 30% off and gave me nothing. read more

I love Goodwill's. When the value village came to Kent, I was a regular shopper, but as time went on I shop there less and less. The staff turnover is really really vast. The prices are getting higher and higher. When you can find stuff(the same things, brand and all), cheaper at Walmart. I tend to say"I can get this same shirt at Walmart, brand new and pick the size and color I want for cheaper", it turns me off a little. You can find some good deals, but there comes a time when some stuff needs to skip the rack and go straight to the garbage. There are a few really nice staff members, and a lot of not so nice staff members. I shop there occasionally, but nowhere as often as I use to. read more

If you like high priced junk that this is the place for you. I went here the other day to look for clothing for my daughter and partner. They wanted $4.99 for a pair for $3 Circo (Target brand short). There prices are crazy for what there asking I can go to TJ MAXX and get a whole outfit for new. Also the jeans that I bought for my partner looked good but, when I got them home I noticed huge tears in the bottom. Again VERY high priced. Try the one in Capitol Hill very low priced. read more
