$17.29 for a used Men's long sleeve Polo
    Rick W.

Talk about inflation!! People donate free items to this For profit company and they are the most expensive thrift store around. $17.29 for a men's long sleeve polo that is used!

The Spokane Valley Value Village is much better. Go there. I stopped by with my dad and brother to browse. Prices were amazing, but not everything was tagged, so you had to ask the staff what something's price was, which is annoying since it is self checkout only. Another major bone to pick with this VV is that there are no dressing rooms, at least I didn't see any. I'm not sure if the same can be said for the Valley location, but hopefully not.

The store was not too bad. It had a few things that I was looking for and add a good price as well.

I did have to take a little time to write these reviews because I needed to come down off my horse first . But man, the lady who checked me out was NOT friendly at all. Very mean, rude, and honestly just disrespectful. When I'm shopping, that's not the kind of experience I'm looking for. BUT--I'm choosing to look past it, move forward, and not let one person shake my day. Because honestly, I had the BEST time ever shopping! A local gal had told me that if I wanted to find some unique items and potentially look at reselling, this was the place I needed to go. I thought, I'll just go check it out, poke at my curiosity, and see what I find. And that is exactly what I did! I walked in and was immediately overwhelmed , so I told myself, "Focus. Just go to the vintage room." And that's what I did. Fast-forward to 145 items in my cart! But the fitting room always has a way of narrowing things down. I was looking for super niche, fun, creative vintage pieces that were in great condition and at a good price point--which, thankfully, helped narrow it down quite a bit. I still walked out paying around $280 for my items, and I'd have to say I probably got 30-40 pieces, so the price points were definitely good! And now, two months later, the majority of those items have sold. But you know... I kept a few for myself too. Heheheh. Fast-forward to **145 items in my cart**! This is my first stop when shopping for used furniture to repurpose or refinish as well as household goods. They have a great selection at very reasonable prices. I will say, they had a great furniture selection and quite a few nice kitchen items, but I wasn't impressed with any other aspect. Customer service really was lacking, no associates talked to me at all (including the one ringing me up who looked unhappy to be there). They have a separate counter for "credit card transactions" and always have to call somewhere there so if you want a quicker checkout best to bring cash here. Also for a thrift shop, their prices are absolutely ridiculous for clothing. I found a few items, but many were so overpriced I almost walked out. They sell swimsuits $10-$20 (double what you can find at other thrift stores) and most shirts were over $5 even with the half off they offer, pants seem to be a little cheaper. Also not organized at all by size, so you have to do some digging. The good is the building is huge so they do have a decent selection of things, I just wish the prices weren't so high. They also offer 50% two tags (only on the hanging department) on Mondays and Saturdays. Wed, Thurs and Fri is only 25% off one tag and Tuesday is 30% off their showcase. However, these prices aren't comparable to most thrift stores for clothing so if looking for clothes I would try elsewhere. If looking for furniture or oddball housing/kitchen items DEFINITELY go here as they have one of the best furniture selections in thrift stores. Will I return? More than likely I will give them a second shot, but now I know what to expect when going in.

The back door, however, leads you to the premium goods: crystal stemware, formal dresses, kids toys, and so on. Prices there were a bit high, so we did most of our shopping in the regular area. They were having sales on certain tag colors, plus when you went to pay they drew out a bingo number, and whatever number you got was the percentage off the total purchase! My sister got 64%! Totally sweet. They had something I've never seen in a thrift store before--a silent auction case. Using some complex algorithm kept secret from the general public, they choose some items to be put into a glass case and numbered. If you want one of the items, you go ask the cashier for 'the book' and write down your bid. A month later, it could be yours! Sadly, since I knew I wouldn't be back any time soon, I didn't place a bid on anything. Guess someone else will be the winner of that weird figurine.
