All I can say is "WOW!" Well, actually I can say a lot more, and I will, because I am so incredibly impressed with Jennifer and her group of ladies at Valued Treasures. Jennifer was an absolute godsend for me. I lost my mom about two and a half months ago and I am left with the difficulty of clearing out Mom's house before we prepare to put it on the market. As you can imagine, it's a super emotional time after my mom passed and now incredibly stressful since I didn't know who to hire to do an estate sale. Heck, I interviewed and called at least 10 companies, and they all sounded the same. So I was back at square one, until I called Valued Treasures, and met with Jennifer at the house. She was exactly what I needed, so warm. I could tell she had a wonderful heart, and most importantly, she was incredibly genuine and honest with me. She wasn't fake or superficial, like some of the other players in this estate game, :). I believed her when she said she wanted to help me, and that she could. She didn't sell me a load of this or that. She gave me conservative numbers when I asked what she thought we could do for the sale, and I appreciated that honesty. Oh, and Jennifer, Loryna, and April were all the hardest workers. They put in numerous hours at Mom's house, and let me tell you, Mom was a little bit of a hoarder, yikes, (I am too! haha), so the whole house was no easy task. There was a ton to organize, sort, fix, clean, and price, and they did it, so so well. Oh, and Jennifer's son was so incredibly helpful as he helped me move out "keep" items from the house into the POD before Jennifer's crew came in to prepare for the sale. He also pitched in huge on the Saturday of the sale to help load and deliver items. Like, really, Wow! Couldn't have been nicer. So, to sum up the sale, it was a great success. Jennifer and I met a couple hours after the sale to sign paperwork and count the proceeds. She was so sweet and accommodating. I thought it might take a week or so before we met, but BOOM she was ready to go. I think it might be a little atypical since there weren't tons of credit card charges, but still, she had everything all set for me. I was impressed. Oh, and as far as cleaning everything else out, which includes some smaller items and a couple desks, I called her contact and he cleared everything out for me for a minimal fee. He even helped me move a couple extra things I wanted to keep after all, like one of the desks, into the POD. Frankly though, there was not a lot left after the sale, which made things much easier. So I want to say "Thank you" again to Jennifer and her wonderful ladies. Oh, and to show you the type of person Jennifer is, after all was said and done, I told her that I would like to tip her as just a small token of my appreciation. She smiled at me, and said, "No, I won't take it!" She said this is her job and that everything was all good. She was amazing! Oh and I have one more thing to share about Jennifer's amazing character. After I removed all the items from the house that I wanted to keep, I told Jennifer we were all set for them to categorize, price, and do everything else involved. Anyways, a few days after she started everything, my wife realized that there was a tub a jewelry that she had in her car that was now missing. What happened was that I accidentally took it into the house from my wife's car since I thought they were sell items we already sorted. I was unaware that there were "keep" items inside. As you can imagine, my wife felt so sick about it. I mentioned it to Jennifer, and she got back to me right away. She was not upset that we didn't want to sell it. She was upset truly because my wife felt like it might be lost. Jennifer quickly put my wife to ease as she located the tub, and said she was so glad that she found it for us. In my opinion, this says so much about her character! I think 90% of the other estate sale companies out there would have been upset that we decided not to sell it because those items would've brought more profit to the sale for everyone, but Jennifer didn't bat an eye. She knew it was an honest mistake. She just really wanted to make sure we had the most important items we wanted to keep for our kids someday. I guess you could say our "Valued Treasures." :) It's hard to really sum up, but for two weeks, I really formed such a good relationship with Jennifer. There was trust, laughter, hard work, and so much sincerity. She has the biggest heart, and I plan to stay in touch with her. So, all in all, she was one of the nicest people I ever met, and it just so happens that she kicks ass at estate sales. I just left an estate sale that this company was running in Anaheim Hills and I really wish there was a way to not even give them one star!! This was one of the poorest run sales I have EVER been to. The sale was held in part of a single car garage while I'm pretty sure one of the people running the sale had their car parked in the double car garage side. The small area that the sale was in meant only a very limited number of people could enter at a time-if they would have moved the car and spread out the items more people would have been able to enter. Also, the women running the sale were not friendly until the very end as they were sharing how to find their next sale. Hmmm not only no but hell no!!!! read more

VERY poorly run estate sale! I have been to MANY estate sales and this was the worst one that I have ever seen! Would not give them less than one star or I would give them zero! Only opened to one or two people at first and let them cherry pick the best items before they let anyone else get to look! Sellers don't trust your valuable items to these amateurs! When our house sold faster than anticipated Jennifer was able to quickly sort out and put together the sale in a very short amount of time. She was super organized and knowledgeable and worked extremely hard to make sure we got good prices for our things. We contacted Valued Treasures after the passing of our Mom to help liquidate her estate to help her husband raise the funds to move permanently back to his country of origin. I spoke with Jennifer a number of times where she was very helpful and amenable. After 3 or 4 conversations, we made a date to meet with the rest of the family and give Jennifer a chance to look at and evaluate the contents of the house. Mom lived in an older mobile home park, but had an extensive collection of china, crystal, glassware, original works of art and much more. At least half of those collections were passed down through the family and were not only antiques, but worth a good deal of money. The night before our date with Jennifer, she texted me...not called...to cancel our appointment, using the excuse of limited parking. We had, of course, gone to a lot of trouble to clear the sale with the property managers and got permission to have buyers park their vehicles anywhere on the street as long as they weren't blocking any driveways for every day of the sale - whether it was 3 days or 4. What my siblings and I believe is that Jennifer did a drive-through, saw that it was an older mobile home park, and perhaps concluded that there would be nothing of value there for her to make money on. Friends of the family who used to be in the auction business took a look and told us there was probably a total value that went into the mid-5 figures...plenty for both the estate sales company and our family. We believe that Valued Treasures made a mistake by passing on our opportunity, and did it in an unprofessional manner. read more

We are extremely happy that we found Jennifer on Yelp! My parents were downsizing from a 4000+ sq ft home to a 2600 sq ft home. We had a lot of big items we needed to get rid of simply because we wanted to start fresh at the new place. After calling a few estate sales companies, Jennifer was the one that really stood out since she was the only one who didn't ask "so much do you think you have for me to sell". Where to start? First of all, I think that that this was an "inside job." There was a list of names that gave the order that customers were allowed to enter. #1 on the list was "Waddlin' Wilbur." He got in, and the woman calling names could not read the #2 name. S0, that gave W.W. about 5 minutes to wander and gather and pile his findings up at the paying table. The rest of us just had to stand there! When urging the name calling one to call a few more names, her answer was, "We have to wait until the area clears out." The sale was all in a 2-car garage, but only half of the garage was used because a car (not for sale) was parked in the other half. They could have easily doubled the display and shopping area and more people could have shopped. There were only 3 women working the sale and it was a disaster! read more

Honestly I don't think any other company would have come close to how well Jennifer handled everything from beginning to the very end.
