This time we needed double panes replaced on one of our kitchen windows and in our sliding glass patio door. I got an cost estimate over the phone and paid for it during the call. They had to order the parts and when they arrived the company called us to schedule the service. A whole crew arrived. The head guy was very friendly and personable. The whole crew worked quickly and finished the entire job within an hour. What's more, we had ordered new rollers for the door which weren't needed after all. The guy told us our cost would be adjusted and so it was! Turns out they didn't charge our card until after the work was completed. Yes indeed would we use them again if the need arose. But here's a tip: it's far more efficient to just give the office closest to you a call instead of using the online form. No one responded to that.

Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed.
