I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at what a great experience this was. I bought a Groupon but I didn't realize this was a "drive-thru" oil change experience. So what that means is you stay in your car. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. The gentleman who coordinated all of the activities was great! Friendly, funny, and very helpful. He explained every step of the process. Be prepared that they will identify some other items that you may need for your vehicle but I just declined those. Once I did then he printed them out for me so that I could be informed about what my car might need. I went on a Monday afternoon about 1 PM and pulled right in so I had no wait. There's were 4 people working on my car. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely use this location again. read more

do not go here. this place should be shut down. they did not fully attach my center shield oil plate. I went onto the highway and it detached under my car. it did also get stuck under my car, which was very loud. I had repairs at maaco, started a claim. they continued to give me the run around about the reimbursement and refund. terrible customer service. 3 mechanics stated this was 100% their fault, they did not complete my oil change or put the plate back on the bottom of my car correctly. read more

Every time I go to a Valvoline location I have to leave a review. No other company has this much consistency and quality employees. Today Alex worked on my car and was kind, informative and not intimidating. He made helpful suggestions and never tried to oversell me or push me into buying something I didn't need. He told me they were understaffed today (which you could not tell) so he couldn't do my tire rotation but you bet my ass will be back on a slower day next week to get it done. During standard oil change, we were told that a brake light was out. Declined the $11.99 charge since it's an easy fix, with a 2 pack going for $5.99. I get that they try to upcharge and add services, and don't fault them for that. However, we later went and bought bulbs, then found that no rear lights were out! Snakes. read more

I went to the one in Magnolia White Horse Pike first, then left bc the guy who opens in the morning lack good customer service skills. Anyway, going to this location in Cherry Hill was way better. My oil change cost a little bit more because I needed a new filter and I require synthetic oil. I didn't get tire rotation, because it turns out I need new tires...smh. So, I'll get new tires and balancing. I'll tell you one thing, after that filter and oil change.....truck felt almost brand new again. .... definitely a much smoother ride. I went there around 12:40 this afternoon... very polite and knowledgeable guys. They'll get my business any time I need something that they can do there. I went to have my engine oil changed on Friday around 1 PM and was one of three cars being serviced. I did not have to wait, had my vehicle inspected as well as my engine oil changed in a timely and efficient manner. I was alerted to various potential problems such as low coolant or one of my brake lights being out but never felt pressured to buy additional services. I did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me because I am a female and appear as if I know nothing about car maintenance like I have at other places. I will be back. read more

Today I decided to show my son how to change and replace my oil and oil filter. When I took off my oil filter I noticed it was a different size than the one that was on the car. First thing I did was go on the internet to make sure I had the correct filter for my car and it was. I checked the code for the Valvoline filter that was on my car and it was the incorrect filter for my car. Guess where I got my last oil change? That's right Valvoline. Everyone likes to save money but you get what you pay for. If you don't change your own oil I would recommend spending a few more dollars and getting the oil changed at a car dealership. I did have to add oil a few times since going to Valvoline but I can't be sure if it was from the filter or old gaskets so can't be 100% sure the oil loss was because of the filter. read more

This was my first experience with the "instant oil change". Upon arrival I didn't know it was literally instant, like drive thru, stay in your car the whole time and you're out in minutes! They tell you to sit in your car while they change your oil because they are so quick. My past oil changes took 20 minutes. They took 1 hour. It was so hot and I couldn't turn on the air condition because my car had to be off. At one point , I got out of the car to stretch because it was taking so long. I have a weird feeling they may have messed something up, which is why it took so long. Hopefully, my car stays intact. Do not go here, they have no idea what they are doing! read more

I will never return to this Valvoline ever again. This review is about an experience I had here a couple of months ago, I'm just now getting around to it. Firstly I want to say that this Valvoline takes longer than any others I've ever been to. The manager on duty was the person who "flagged" me into the shop where he acted annoyed if I slightly turned my wheel in any direction. Secondly he had the nerve to say to me "You need your air filter changed so that you can save on gas mileage which means you'll use less gas which means we will be less reliant on terrorist." And his employees looked at him like he was crazy for saying that and he said "What? He's wearing a Maryland shirt(talking about me), people from Maryland hate terrorists. Don't you?" That was BEYOND inappropriate. And to top it off they told me my air conditioning needed a charge. I said no thank you I'll do it myself. And so I went to do it myself and it was in the HIGH range of appropriately full. Meaning they told me a bold faced lie to up sell me. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

The two guys working were very nice. But they took over an hour to change my oil when there was only one other car in the place. I pulled in around 5:15 and did not leave until 6:30. It took them a total of five minutes to actually change the oil, the rest of the time I was just sitting there wondering where they went. I could tell one was a trainee so I tried to be patient. However after waiting that long, one of them proceeded to lecture me on how I should be using better oil and I put too many miles on my car between changes so I should have it changed again tomorrow. Ok, I understand part of their job is to upsell and that's fine. But your claim to fame is a drive-thru 15 minute oil change and you just took an hour and 15 minutes to do it. Please do the job and let me leave. I was late picking my daughter up from daycare because I planned on 30-45 minutes. Then when I went to pay with my Groupon he charged me $2.43 for tax? I'm pretty sure the Groupon is good for the cost of the oil change, but if they're going to nickel and dime I don't have the energy to argue.
