Had a tire replaced and they didn't put any air in it. Discovered it when I got home and put air in and held fine overnight, which confirms they didn't put air in. I could live with the mistake, but when I called back to let them know the issue all Dave wanted to do was challenge. All I wanted them to do was find out who was responsible and do a little coaching, but it was clear he didn't believe me. read more

Made an appointment to have the tires switched out on my daughter's Mini. While servicing the car, the technician noticed that her rim was bent in 3 places. They agreed to hold the car while we went to have the rim repaired. Next day we took the repaired rim to the shop and the tires were replaced. The gentleman at the shop, Jason and another older gentleman whose name escapes me, we polite and thorough. I am pleased with the service we were provided and would return and recommend. read more

Went to Mr. Tire for an oil change and tire rotation. A few weeks later I tried to use the wheel lock nut key and it was stripped. Apparently, during the re-mounting of the wheel it was over torqued and stripped the lock. No one told me this happened and if I had a flat tire I would have been stranded unable to remove the tire. I had to purchase a replacement key from the dealer for $50.00. read more

Not your go-to address. I brought my car in for a oxygen sensor replacement. One of the sensors was broken (found out by OBD2 readout) the shop advised me to change all four (two different streams on the car) and brakes and rotors and so on. Last inspection was the month prior at this shop - no mentioning of the brakes at the time of inspection. bill estimate was 1800$. Tried a different shop charged a little over 400$ all problems fixed. Watch out for overcharging and bad business practices. read more

I had an 11AM appointment for a wheel alignment. The manager said it would take about one hour. I showed up about 10:55 and left the vehicle there. I called at 2:30 and was told the truck is next in line. I hung up but called back in a few minutes and told them to not do the work and that I would come by to retrieve my truck, which I did. It is probably one of the most inefficient and dishonest auto shops I have been to. I had a flat tire. I ended up making 2 trips to a nearby Mr. Tires and spending close to $200. Trip 1: They could not find out why there was a slow leak. They asked me to spend close to $100 on replacing some parts. Trip 2: The slow leak continues. I came to the store, and this time they found a nail and claimed that the puncture was not fixable. I bought a new tire from the store. Current condition: after several months, there was a slow leak in the new tire. The new tire looks like to be in really bad shape. I am not coming back to this store this time. Here's the scene from this morning: 7:30 a.m., I get into my car to drive to work. I have a big meeting at 10 a.m. My car starts beeping, "Check Tire Pressure!" Dilemma arises. Do I check the tire pressure or keep driving to North Philly and risk walking out to a flat in the dark at the end of the day? ...Dilemma is solved quite easily in my brain, per last experience detailed below. I call Mr. Tire to ask if they're open. "Wide open," comes the response. Car alert beeping away, I drive to Mr. Tire for the second time in two months. I pull into the lot, spastically worrying that I may be late for my meeting and upset that I'm now running late to work. I hustle out of my car, miss the fact that there is indeed a step up to get into the building, and come crashing down on the concrete. Slightly shaking as I look down at my hands bleeding, I pick myself right up and walk into the shop. The guy behind the desk takes one look at my disgusting, bleeding hands and instantly pulls out a first-aid kit and tells me where the bathroom is. He tells me that if they can find the problem, my visit is free. They find the problem (air deflated due to weather change) and I leave ... arriving in North Philly in time for my meeting. Seriously, Mr. Tire-workers, thank you on two accounts: 1. For being nothing short of professional and efficient. 2. For dealing with a crying girl shortly after sunrise. read more

I was charged for addressing an oil leak and charged for dye to trace an oil leak which didn't exist. I was then given a quote of $2200 to repair said oil leak. THERE WAS NO OIL LEAK; TURNS OUT IT WAS a ruse and the tensioner & serpentine belt they installed incorrectly caused ME TO BREAK DOWN AFTER DRIVING 16.2 MILES FROM THEIR LOCATION!!!!!!!!! I reported that the check engine light was on when I had it towed to the MrTire Cherry Hill location and they never bothered to do a diagnostic test to see why - IT IS BECAUSE they knew they didn't install the tensioner and serpentine belt correctly and then lied to me and told me my car lost all the oil and coolant and that was why it seized. They disconnected my battery for a few hours to get my "check engine light" to go off and let me drive that car out of there. I also lost 3 days of work which cannot be made up. THIS LOCATION IS UNSCRUPULOUS AND IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR CAR, DON'T GO TO THEM FOR SERVICE OR TIRES. read more

Mr. Tire Cherry Hill ripped me off. I got new front tires from them in September 2021. I discovered today that they ended up replacing my new rear tires (from 2020) with my old front tires. My previous rear tires were 1 year old. I'm a woman and I'm pissed they took advantage of me. I do not recommend this place - they are scamming people like me. read more

it not good because my truck sensor was not working so I took it to the shop and they kept on saying that the tire did not have air and it did and I kept saying it's not the tire. It's the sensor and until they took it for a test drive they said oh it is a sensor . Horrible Customer Service and Incompetent Techs! Summary: They improperly mounted one of our tires, not even fully mounted on the wheel, and mounted our directional tires backwards, ruining the whole set. They also managed to completely round off a lugnut and damage all 4 of our wheels with scratches and gouges around the lugnut wells. When we asked about this, the manager literally yelled and interrupted us over the phone like a child, refused to pay for anything, forcing us to have to go through corporate to get reimbursed. GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK, there are hundreds of better mechanics right around this area, go there instead, NOT HERE. Full story: We just needed snow tires swapped and in the process of this they managed to round off a lugnut (wrong size socket with an impact?) and gouge and scratch up all 4 wheels around the lugnut wells. When I called to ask about the damage the manager ARGUED with me over the phone, raising his voice and interrupting me like a child. Trying to claim that everything was like that when we brought it in. How is that possible if the lugnut is rounded off? You can't even get the wheel off, but somehow it was like that before we brought it to them and they were able to change the tires. Then he tried to claim that we did the damage to the wheels blaming the low-profile tires, yet all the scratches and gouges are in and around the lug nut wells, amazing. After I finally calmed him down the best he said he'd do is order some lugnuts to replace the broken one. Nothing about the wheels, and no apology for ruining the lugnut on there and wasting a ton of my time. DO NOT go here. UPDATE: After taking the car to another mechanic (Ford Dealer) They confirmed Mr. Tire put one of the tires on incorrectly (the bead wasn't even fully mounted) (Nice and dangerous), which directly caused our tire to be damaged and wheel to be damaged. They also found that Mr. Tire put the directional tires on backwards. This all in addition to the other issues. Amazing. UPDATE 2: Finally got a response from corporate and they'll be reimbursing us for most of the damage - Which is great, because I can't imagine having to deal with that childish manager again, speaking of, he never did call me about those lugnuts he supposedly ordered... read more

I made an appointment with a Mr. Tire online in my area. When I showed up they did not have my size tire. My fault. I should've called. Mr. Tire in Cherry hill is the only one that ever has it. So I called in and the guy I spoke to said he didn't have it but if I was coming in he would go get it for me. That was awesome. So of course I said yeah. I dealt with this Mr. Tire last time I needed tires and they are fantastic. So I came in left my car and we went over to the mall. There were 20 appointments in front of me so I knew it was going to be a while. It's cool they even said they'd do it. The only part of my experience that sucked was the price. I was expecting a hefty bill for a brand new set of tires and an alignment but it was over $700. I almost fainted. You have to take into account that my tires are rare. I don't know what other people are getting bill wise but I've ever paid over like $380. He did explain to me that the manufacturer claims the tire is discontinued so there was no buy 3 get one free deal like for most tires. Even that though might've knocked of $200 at the most? The alignment alone was $291. I really wish I wouldn't have went for that. All that aside this is the only place I can get my tires and the service is excellent. read more

Brought my car here twice to be told that they don't have enough technicians to Do a oil change at my schedule time because they have callouts. Not a customers problem if their technicians are useless and call out consistently. There are plenty of other places take your car. I don't usually review non-restaurants but Mr. Tire is one of my few exceptions. My dashboard lit up with one of those lights that you think "that can't be good." Turned out my front right (passenger) tire had formed a bubble - it is pot-hole season, after all. I called late on a Saturday evening, right before they were closing to see when they were available. I was told to come in first thing on Monday. I went in at 7:30am, was seen right away. I explained that I had one small wrinkle in this mess - the tires were less than a year old and were still under warranty from tire rack. The warranty permitted me to get a free tire up to $75 so I asked if there was anything in stock around that price. I got one for $68. I paid for labor and they did the routine check up. Where Mr. Tire went above and beyond was while I was working with Tire Rack to have the warranty confirmed, Tire Rack said they needed confirmation from the business that serviced my tires. I called Mr. Tire at 11:57 to explain that I needed them to call Tire Rack and confirm the information to have my claim processed. I received an email from Tire Rack at 12:04 saying they had received a call and all the necessary information already and I would be receiving a check soon. That's service. Hopefully I won't have to come back with another bubble in my tire but if I get one I know where I am going. read more

They are selling bad tires. Purchase tires that will not keep their pressure. They would not accommodate after only having tires for less than 1 month. A waste of money only to be told I needed to purchase new tire. I replaced tires elsewhere and was told the inside of tire was bad! Do Not purchase tires from this location! Haddonfield Road's littered with auto service shops, but I've often had best experiences at Mr. Tire. They're usually able to accommodate me on any given day, whether it's a simple oil change or a more complex issue I've been noticing with my car. I recently started intermittently hearing a noise in my car that I wasn't used to hearing. I'd taken it to another repair shop to get it checked out, but their "fix" didn't resolve the issue at all. When I took it into Mr. Tire, they spent some time with it but they weren't able to figure out what the sound was that I was talking about, so they had me drive around with Jeff, a technician, so that I could show him what I was talking about. When he figured it out and checked it out, he gave me a call himself to tell me that he found the source of the issue but that it was something I could ignore for now. Unlike my experience the other place I'd taken my car, I could tell that Jeff understood the issue, and I appreciated him not making me pay for a bogus/unnecessary fix. Their customer service is also great, and they're always helpful. read more

This place was a lifesaver (maybe literally), after my truck broke down right in front of their shop, on Haddonfield Rd. South on a busy Saturday afternoon. The vehicle was dead in the water; couldn't even put it in neutral to push. 3 of the technicians came right out into the street, diverted traffic to put cones out behind me, and quickly jumped-started me and got me into their parking lot. I had a different destination for the tow, but offered to pay them for the help. They refused to take it - so hopefully this will help to show everyone what a quality place this is. Thanks guys! I've had a bad experience and they have dishonest business practices. I could not recommend this business to anyone and my warning is "buyer beware". They code their receipts in a mysterious way that is impossible for outside mechanics to understand or decipher. They leave details out that are critical. Why? So they can rip you off and misrepresent what they did when you return to correct their shoddy work or substandard tire. Prepare for complete denial. I had a new tire put on 2000 miles ago. A very reputable mechanic/business (not Mr Tire!) told me the belt was broken and that Mr Tire should replace it at no cost because it was their tire and I spent $2200 with them to do work that included one single faulty tire.) The tire was diagnosed the day before by a reputable auto mechanic. I only owned the one single tire in the no name brand from mr Tire. Their sleazy service person ("Jeff") took no responsibility for it. He claimed it was a different tire--one that i owned. I had one bad tire and it came from their shop. He blatantly lied about the situation and is an absolutely inferior "customer service" person if you could even call him that. They do not stand behind their work and they were disrespectful and dishonest. 60 minutes should do an investigation at there little shop of dishonesty. I'm going to let them. Update: 1/3/20 I took my car to a mechanic recently and wanted their opinion of the pricing on the work and parts purchased here. A reputable mechanic who is always busy and has a good reputation for integrity reviewed the invoice. Mechanic said it was difficult to review and wasn't written up in a standard way. He also told me he could have done the same work for half the cost! I paid these crooks $2200. I'm horrified that they get away with their dishonest selling practices! Great experience at Mr. Tire. I talked to Mike, the manager on duty, the whole time. He was friendly and professional. He was able to get the tires I wanted from the warehouse & called me back quickly to schedule the tire change the same day. Mike explained all the charges well and didn't pressure me into the extras I didn't want. He also made a mistake on the bill in our favor and didn't charge us extra for it, because it was the price he originally quoted. The only issue was that he told me it'd be an hour wait, and it was about 2 hours. I had walked to the mall, so it wasn't a big deal. read more

This place is so awesome. I as worried about going in here at first, because I've been ripped off by chain auto places before. But nope. This place is very honest. I've been in here 4-5 times already and every time I've left happy and with change in my pocket. Their prices are very competitive. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. They don't try and up sell you on parts and services you don't need. They are very very low pressure and laid back, but very professional at the same time. I travel 30 minutes just to go here for my auto needs. Its well worth the bridge toll and gas. read more

Great experience. They were busy when I arrived but still found time to fit me in. I didn't even have to wait that long. I've been to the other local tire stores, and they all just try to rip me off. The staff here was very knowledgable and friendly. I'll be coming back and recommending to all my friends. Update....I returned for an oil change and new tires for the snow. The Cherry Hill team is fantastic! I blew out a tire on Rt 70 on my way to pick up my grandson from daycare in Philly. I drove the mile+ up to Mr. Tire. Even though they were quite busy, they took the time to check my tire to see if it could be fixed (I ran over a curb; I knew it was a goner). Jim and Brian found a suitable tire and, without trying to sell me another one, got it on my car, balanced everything out and had me on my way in 50 minutes! In the past they did an emergency brake job for my daughter on a busy Saturday, finding discounts a rebates to lower the price. I come here for all my oil change, tire and brake issues and recommend them highly to family and friends. read more

Honesty matters, and at this shop honesty is what you receive. I had just seen that my tire pressure gauge had gone off so I went ahead to a gas station to put air in my tires. As I was putting air in one of the more severely flat tires I noticed some shredding around the top. I panicked and called Walmart auto because I was in cherry hill. I kept trying to get ahold of them and nobody answered. I decided that it was probably in my best interest to go somewhere a little bit more reputable so I opted for Mr tire. I gave them a call to get a price quote, But because I have no idea what kind of tire I would need for what size they are in my car the guy recommended that I come on in since I was so close anyways. I got there and the guy at the counter checked me in and promptly provided me with a quote. It was a little bit more than I expected. That being said it was still a very fair and reasonable price. I went head and agreed to the service. They were a little busy so it took maybe 20 minutes or so before my car made it into the Bay. As soon it was in the Bay they kept me regularly updated about what was going on with my car and they were extremely pleasant and friendly. It didn't take terribly long and they let me know other issues that I would need to deal with at some point. At no point did they try to up sell anything or convince me of getting any other work done that I might not be able to afford. Over all it was a great experience especially since I was super anxious about everything. Wanted to add that the shop is very clean. They have a soda vending machine as well as complimentary coffee and I believe tea as well. I think my only criticism would be that they need more chairs in the seating area. Or maybe even some new chairs. read more

A nice place, and the previous two times I've been here - for a nail in my tire, and an air filter, both visits a month apart - I was helped by an extremely wonderful young man who gave me an appropriate wait time, kept me updated about my service and overall made getting my car taken care of an easier experience than I'm used to. Earlier this week I had been told I wouldn't need an appointment for a broken tail light, I could come in whenever I had time - no problem. Except when I arrived an hour before closing I was told there was nothing they could do they were "booked solid" for the rest of the day, except the entire lobby was empty and the man at the front was awfully preoccupied with talking to the woman who appeared to work there. I was told I could come back in the morning but when I asked the earliest possible time, was told there'd "be a hell of a wait", and so I asked if I could make an appointment and was told that there was no way to do that. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I wanted a basic service done and he ended up making me feel supremely unwelcome. Go to this location if you have no other choice and hope you get someone willing to help you. read more
