I got 2 new tires on my wifes Subaru on 2/27/25 and went back to have 2 new ones put on the front and of course not in stock witch they never do told me they will have them in they will call well it been almost 2weeks no call I had lots of tires put on my over the years no communication. They have lost another customer. I take my business someone who cares about serving their customers will never go back to tire plus in Westmont. They should be ashamed of themselves, whoever the manager or the owner you need to take a good at your staff. Customers should be priority one to keep you in business people who read this I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's the closest shop to my Old City home, and I bought my tires at an affiliate in CO so I gladly pay bridge toll to get here. Been going here for a couple of years now. Tom and his crew are attentive, honest, and do good work. They don't push me to do more than I want, and the work is always done quickly and correctly. My Honda is close to the end of its useful life, and I don't want to put too much more money into it before it retires. They don't seem to judge my beat-up car. When my car failed inspection in PA, I brought it here for the repairs. They seemed a bit confused with the inspection report and doubted the need for all the repairs named. Tom called his colleagues at a Tires Plus in PA to ask about it. We followed their advice, made the repairs they felt were necessary or recommended, and took it elsewhere for re-inspection. Sadly, the shop that originally inspected us (also a repair shop) seemed to be trying to drum up business for their services. I will bring any future vehicle here because I feel like I'm getting a fair price. They honor the warranties on the tires they sell, and I can log into my online account for a record of my services. I dropped off my car @ 7:45a for my 8a appointment and they started working on it immediately. Technician informed me that my front alignment was really out of whack but he adjusted the alignment. The assistant mechanic drove my car out of the building and slowly backing up. As he backs up a mechanic (the spotter) told him to stop! So the assistant ignored him and hollers, "what?!" and continues to back up and hits the bay door. SMH. Lucky there was no damages or injuries. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Tried to get tires for my pick up a year ago, couldn't get any of the tires that they listed on their site. Decided to give them another shot yesterday for my Mustang, again couldn't get Firehawk tire that are listed on their site. But the Firestone dealer in the next town could. I brought my Mazda 3 to the dealership for a free oil change. Every time I did this, I was told that something additional had to be done. 6 months ago, I was told that my brakes had to be done right away. This time I got a 2d opinion and brought it 2 Tires Plus. They told me that I could wait b/c they were fine. That afternoon I got an e mail saying I needed 2 make an appointment asap. I just had my brakes and oil change at Tires Plus, and they said I could wait a month but the brakes were @ 3 and would "squeak" @ 2 cms. My Lexus dealer said the brakes were pitted/pulsating--again nothing was needed which would have cos $650!! This is an honest place and I recommend it to anyone. read more

Buyer Beware Took my car in a month ago and was told they replaced an ignition coil that was misfiring. The #1 coil. Once my light came back on I took it to another mechanic who confirmed they never changed it. The instead replaced the easy to get to coil in the front. Went back with the coil and Steve was a complete jerk. Admitted they didn't change the #1 coil(even though my invoice clearly stated they did). He took advantage of a woman who knows nothing about cars. Would not issue a refund even though I had his coil to return. Questioned why I didn't bring it back to him to fix...seriously Steve?? After you took advantage of me do you think I'd trust you to properly repair my car again? I've disputed the charge and if I don't get refunded by the card I will file a suit in small claims court. Shame on you for taking advantage of a single mom with limited income. I literally told you I only had $300 left on my credit card and you swooped right in knowing I was desperate to have my car fixed in time to get to work that day. If you had fixed it correctly it would have taken 3-4 hours not a half hour. I would have left with my car if you were truthful because I had to get to work. You would have lost the sale so you lied to get my last $300. Shameful. They don't even deserve 1 star but there's no option for 0 stars. read more

My brakes had been grinding for a very long time but on a recent long-distance trip, I was having some serious issues with quick stops on the highway. I knew I couldn't ignore the repairs I needed any longer. Since my partner and I have had good experiences with Tires Plus on Cuthbert in Westmont, I drove over to have them do a free brake inspection. It took about an hour but when it was completed, Lou, the manager, took me to my car and showed me the issues I had. It was worse than I thought. He showed me the broken tie rod and the struts that were shot (the struts being $665 of the total repair costs). What surprised me is that Lou told me I didn't need to get the struts fixed right now but the other issues were a safety issue and he said, "Whether you do it here or anywhere else, please get this done! It's really unsafe to be driving on this!" The total cost was $1443 which put me into sticker shock as I was anticipating it to cost no more than $400. They put my car back together without repair and I drove it home. Almost immediately, I went online and applied for their no-interest for 6 months credit card and picked up the phone to get my car back in the next day. The next morning, I took it back for the repair, which was estimated to take 5 hours to complete. What I didn't expect was that they offered and then gave me a ride back to my house, about three miles away. Upon completion of the work, they called to tell me my car was done, drove my car to my house and dropped it off. Now that is service! Lou worked on the prices for me and he was able to knock off a little over $200 from the original estimate. Thanks, Lou! It is 2021 isn't it?! Tires Plus is a complete joke! They literally have tires in the name, but they only sell new tires not service or repair them. Tires Plus can't even plug a tire, which any gas station garage can do. The worst customer service, left me sitting for 80 minutes when I had called the day before & scheduled an appointment, then finally decided to look at the punctured tire I came to have repaired and spoke to them about in detail the previous day, then saying they aren't skilled enough to repair the tire but recommended a 1-man gas station garage on the corner. So the gas station fixed my tire in 5 minutes, but Tires Plus achieved nothing in 1hr 20min?! If Tires Plus is only qualified to do only the most basic tire repair and can't keep close to their schedule, maybe it'd be a good idea to quickly check the vehicle you claim to be qualified to repair first before leaving a potential customer sitting there for absolutely no reason at all. I was treated as though I should be grateful I wasn't charged, even though Tires Plus did nothing more than waste my time & embarrass themselves by not being equipped to repair the very same product they use in their name. Perhaps it should be called 'Only New Tires Plus' or 'Sit & Wait Needlessly'. TIRES PLUS IS A JOKE, JUST GO TO PEP BOYS WHERE TRAINED TECHNICIANS ACTUALLY WORK!!!! read more

No recognition or apology from the front desk for how long I had been waiting there just to be turned away. I won't be going back. read more

Highly recommend Tires Plus for fair estimates and quick work! A nearby competitor had quoted me brake work at nearly $600, which seemed awfully high. Got a competing estimate for work from Tires Plus who came in at nearly HALF the cost after doing a thorough brake inspection. Very happy with my experience with them and will be taking my car there in the future for oil changes and other work. read more

This place will try to upsell you. We came in to get all our tires replaced. We were quoted a price and left the car. Midway through the job we received a call saying they'd "found a loose joint" and that fixing it would nearly double the price and add 400 bucks. They also tried to tell us our brake pads were almost dead. We just had the brakes replaced three weeks ago! Do not go here. Went there for an oil change, and left with an oil leak. Went back to see if they could fix it, told me I needed new valve cover gaskets ($320 before tax). I got that done and after a month or two, I noticed that my oil leak persisted; same amount, frequency, same location etc. Nothing about it had changed. So i take it back again and they tell me now i need to replace my head gasket ($220). I ask them why we replaced the other gaskets if maybe they werent even the problem "Ummm...I dont know...call us when you want to schedule the work." Obviously, I was very suspicious of what was going on there so I took it some place else to get it fixed and it turns out Tires Plus NEVER REPLACED my valve cover gaskets in the first place, just charged me for it! And then wanted to charge me another $220 for something that wasnt even the problem. Once I got my valve cover gaskets replaced, the leak stopped. I went back to Tires Plus with my story and demanded my money back, which they did refund with little problem. The people seem really nice there, but after my experiences I cant help but think theyre scamming people. Not to mention I got the work done for $100 cheaper at the other place. read more

Called early afternoon on a Friday (last Friday) to get a tire patched or plugged. I was driving literally watching the PSI go down in my tire from the dashboard graphics. I called Tires Plus to see if they could get me in at some point between the early afternoon and the time they close to do a simple patch job (30 min max). I was willing to wait however long that day because I needed the car. The guy on the phone told me it would have to wait until tomorrow or the next day. Ok.. So I call Mr. Tire and see if there was any availability for the day he said bring it in and we'll take care of it. That's all I needed to hear. This simple job doesn't require much work, just an open bay. I realize they weren't go to make much money off of it, but you lose a customer for good (and anyone I give my recommendations to). I'd also add that the dude who answered the phone sounded like he couldn't care any less. Bad attitude, bad service, no help, go to a different shop. read more

Wow Joe H., you must have needed everything and then some to pay that much for brakes. I have a brake check there, I was told I need this, this and this. The estimate was $900+. I could not afford it at the time so I left and got a 2nd opinion. This time I went to a independent shop. Dealt with the owner. The estmates were night and day. $375 later my car was done and I was on my way home. The bottom line people is this, big chains and franchise shops have a huge corporate structure that needs to funded. Where do you think that money comes from? They have commisioned employees who are trained to find whatever they can and up sell everything else. Do you really think shops offer $15.95 oil changes because they like you? My son bought a new Interstate battery for his Chevy S-10 from a mechanic in S. Philladelphia. Less than 10 months later the battery was dead and would not take a charge. We took it back to the mechanic in S. Phila and were unable to get a replacement or a refund from them. We then took the battery to the Tires Plus store in Westmont and they very cheerfully provided us with a replacement battery even though they did not sell us the original battery. I am very happy with the courteousness and service we received. read more

The only reason I give this place two stars instead of one is because they refunded my money. I'd only bring my car here if I needed a basic oil change... and every other auto shop in the world was closed. The people are nice but they are incompetent when it comes to cars. 1. Replaced four tires on a highlander. Tire sensor came on ever since and they couldn't figure out how to fix it...told me to take it to a dealer. Never was an issue until they replaced my tires. 2. Squeaky front left driver side wheel...they couldn't figure it out on two separate occasions. Another shop figured it out in one hour (brake pad sticking - if I was being paid to fix this I'm pretty sure that would have been my first guess?) and come to find out Tires plus was working on the wrong wheel. 3. Squeaky serpentine belt pulley...tires Plus charged me $100ish for the pulley they "replaced". What do you know?...belt/pulley was still squeaking. Took my car to Mr Tire. Fixed in hour and they told me nothing had been replaced. That was it for me. Tires Plus did refund my money for the above mentioned services and the lifetime alignment deal for both of my cars. Also the guy they have doing an alignment must be cross eyed or have a lazy eye because that sht is never straight! read more

horrible service, had my alignment done and failed to tell me my ball joints were bad. when i went to get tires at Firestone i was finally informed of the problem, so i went back got the ball joints replaced for free now one month later the need to be replaced again i'm going back tomorrow and and telling them i'm calling corporate about this. when i call i'm going to tell them if they screw me again they will be getting sued about this safety issue. will never go back to them horrible rude unfriendly people.i will be taking my car to Firestone for now on!!! read more
