There was no line on a Saturday at noon so I was able to pull right into the garage. I didn't even have to get out of my car while the oil was changed, windows cleaned, tires filled with air and filter replaced. I find it ironic that the owner Mike states in his history blurb that he started the shop because he was tired of seeing people get ripped off, well that's exactly how I feel, ripped off by Sanderson Automotive. I thought we were doing a good thing by trying to support a local mechanics shop when my Focus, that I had been taking to Ricart for service for years needed new brake rotors and pads. I will say that Sanderson got us in quickly, but then also found that we needed a new battery and they stated that the lug nuts on the wheels were swollen and needed replaced, so that's also a lie when they state that they don't "find" things that need replaced on your car, they do. So this was a $986 bill. The very next day when I was driving to work the car was making a horrible scraping noise, as if i were dragging a sheet of metal behind the car. So I called them and they did get me in the same day to look at the car. By the time I had left work early to get this issue looked at the car had stopped making the noise, so naturally they didn't find anything. Next, a few weeks later the car started making a horrible rattling noise every time I went over the smallest bump. So once again I have to take my car back to them and they said this time that it was the brake caliper over retracting and causing it to rattle. The noise definitely came from the rear passenger side, and when they diagnosed the problem they asked if i wanted to have both calipers replaced. I said no because it was already going to be $371, and why would I replace something that wasn't broke? Sure enough within two days of having the caliper replaced the same exact noise was coming from the driver side of the car. At this point this all seems far too coincidental, the manager, Josh, that I had been dealing with the entire time, stated that there was no harm in driving with the car like this as it was not a safety issue. So by this point I'm tried of having my car into their shop, so I just let it go for a while. We finally decide it's time to have the issue taken care of so we take the car back to Ricart, at this point I don't trust Sanderson. I explained to Ricart what they had previously done to the car and after their inspection they called and said that there was nothing wrong with the brake caliper, and that whoever had installed my brake pads last time forgot to put the anti-rattle clips on the pads. Sure enough two days later and not a single rattling noise. So at this point I have had brake pads installed on the car twice in six months and a caliper replaced for no reason and I'm out $679 and hours of my time because of Sanderson's incompetence. Also, we were contacted by the owner, Mike, via text a few months ago about how our experience was and we mentioned that it was not good and we have received no response. As of writing this we also called and left a voicemail asking for them to call us and explain why they didn't installed the clips and then missed it a second time when I went back and they decided to charge us for a caliper. It has been two days with no response. In summary, Sanderson's will be happy to take your money, charge you for things you don't need and never call you back. Save yourself they hassle and don't patronize them.

When I took it to a real repair shop, they said something internal was broken and that a cover had been put over it to hide the damage. Disgusting. NEVER go here. Not if it's convenient, not if it's cheaper than another place. It's just a big, gross scam.

These places are busy and stay busy. I have found it is always a better outcome, when possible, to shop for tires online and then have them shipped to a shop for installation. This avoids the frantic decision making of picking out something because it is available and thus compromising on warranty, quality or prices. Please keep in mind, none of this is a critique of my experience with this branch. It's merely a commentary on how I approach this process. Regarding my recent experience: communication with the shop was efficient and effective. They answered calls quickly, described their current workload and scheduling concerns clearly, and maintained a pleasant, professional demeanor. Due to a snow storm, my shipment was delayed a couple days. Since I had ordered the tires independently, none of this blame in delay fell on them. (Even if I had ordered through them, realistic expectations have to be kept. These guys aren't driving trucks over from Indiana.) Once i had been notified that my tire shipment had arrived, I called the shop and made sure they could get me in and finished on that day. I then arranged towing through OnStar. I sent my keyfab with the tow driver and waited my call from the shop. With about 2 hours left in their workday, I got my call to come pickup. A short Über later and I was at the front desk with an hour to go. Now here is the important part. Don't bail on the review too early... The technician slid the bill across the desk to me. My eyes, of course, drew immediately to the bottom line where, to my dismay, I found a total more than 3x my expectation. At that same moment, the technician clearly explained each line item, breaking down how he had discovered the object logged in my tire. He then patched it and rotated the set for me. I thanked him for his hard work on my behalf, however, I was the guy who had a set of tires shipped in that day. He apologized and slid my key back into his hand. He explained that he was going to have to let his boss know there was a mixup and to please bare with him a moment. I saw him go over and say a few words to his manager before immediately leaving out the door. The manager quickly wrapped up his phone call and came over with a pained look on his face. He, of course, now remembered my call and what our plans were. He apologized and asked that I please have a seat as they would take care of it right away. And they did! By 6 o'clock close the manager personally pulled my car up with its new tires installed. And with a final apology handed me the key. I asked if I needed to sign anything for him and he started that he waived the charges due to the mixup and my inconvenience. Now, I don't expect that this is the type is place one should go to if they are looking to get a free ride. But my recommendation is this, and I believe it a strong one: go here if you want to deal with someone with integrity. There are a dozen different ways this could have been managed in a disagreeable fashion. What I found was a team who was willing to own a mistake and work hard to deliver a good outcome. They didn't put it off or displace blame. They just went to work, right away, to do the right thing. No need to ask me what I wanted to do about the problem... They knew what I wanted. They just got about the business of delivering the service I had asked them for in the first place. And to top it off, they put a value on my time spent inconvenienced above the time they spent in effort. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does. You might choose to take your business some where else, to your folly. For my part, they have earned my loyalty.

I was quoted 224 dollars for the service, and was told it would be done by 1:00. The assistant manager Hunter then told me at 1:15 (they only started working in my vehicle at 1:00) that they could not repair my tire as "someone has already repaired it," (which is untrue as I've only had the tire less than a year and have never had it repaired) and that I needed to buy another new tire. So now I've had to pay 450 dollars. I had to wait another hour for my vehicle to be completed. Once I got back in the vehicle, my tire pressure light was on, and my dash said "tire pressure monitor system maintenance required." When I came this morning, I had no lights or warnings on my dash. The service tech (I believe his name was Titus) then lied to me, saying that he had to "re-learn" the tire pressure sensors to the car, and that the passenger side rear tire pressure sensor was dead. I told him this was impossible, as I had them replaced in January of this year at the dealership. The assistant manager Hunter then checked my vehicle, and told me that the service tech (Titus?) never "re-learned" the sensors to the vehicle, and that he had to do it himself! TLDR: This Discount Tire will overcharge you, lie to you, avoid any accountability, and disrespect your time. Go anywhere but here.

Took my vehicle in for a major oil leak. Was told it was the valley pan gasket, valve cover gasket,…read moreoil cooler line, and oil pan gasket. Due to the extent of the oil leak I asked if the rear main seal was leaking. I was told no that it was the only items listed above. Approved the repairs and picked up the vehicle. Was told they had to power wash the underneath due to the amount of oil that had been leaking. So not to be alarmed if I saw some drips for awhile. Drove the vehicle less than 50 miles and the leak was just as bad as it always was had to put 2.5 quarts of oil in. Took back to Dart was then told it was the rear main seal. This was definitely misdiagnosed the first time. They then wanted another $1000 to do the rear main seal. Per the owner Dave after doing the other repairs it added more oil pressure causing the rear main seal to go out. Oil pressure was never an issue and carries the same oil pressure before and after repairs. At this point I'm not convinced they even replaced the gaskets they said they replaced. As I can't tell any difference with the oil leak. Definitely would not recommend this shop.
