I stopped at the highway 73 location for an oil change since I had previously used their DMV inspection service which was ok. They charged me well over 100 dollars for an oil change even after a 15 dollar coupon was applied. They say that they inspect fluid levels, tire pressures, ETC. They autofilled the checklist for these services right in front of me on the computer without actually looking at fluid levels or pressure the whole time I was sitting there in the car. My advice is to not use this location. It is expensive and they do not perform the agreed-upon safety and service checks. read more

Do not go for inspection. Somehow I failed window tint this year but have taken it to this place for both 21 and 22 with no issue. Car hasn't changed, no new tint, but I got "well it passed everything else, so we have to charge you. But we can't pass you, so come back after you rip off your tint and we will do it again." Just a ploy to charge you $33 Apparently weren't "bound by law" the past two years when my car passed inspection. This year they just want more chances for you to bring your car in and take your money. read more

Took my vehicle for the yearly inspection. I was charged 10$ for window tint inspection. I've had the car 10 years and never had to pay this. This is because it is factory tint and I have the proof from the factory. I told Zack and he became very rude. I reached out to corporate and sent all my information only to have them ghost me. Crickets and they refused to respond. This company is a joke. My business will be taken elsewhere. Good riddance read more

THEY COULD'VE KILLED US!! No stars is not an option, I went there for a quick oil change and a tire rotation before a road trip. Got to my destination to hear a strange noise coming from the the wheels only to discover 2 missing lug nuts and the others loose!! We are very blessed/lucky that our tire didn't come off while going highway speed. The NEGLIGENCE of the those working there, could've killed our family and why because they can't get tighten up lug nuts right, come on! DO NOT COUNT ON THEM FOR DOING IT RIGHT!!! read more

I went to Valvoline on a Sunday because it was the only place open and I wish I hadn't the employees were indifferent and seemed almost bothered that a customer had arrived I had an oil change and tire rotation when I left I noticed a noise coming from the front passenger side of my car I pulled into the nearest parking lot and found that the lug nuts on the front right tire had not been tightened I had to call and have someone come and fix no offer a refund was mentioned or even a reduced charge it could have been a wreck in the making it is the last time I will go there read more

Upon arrival, I was asked about wipers. NO, I do not want new wipers. Tire rotation snapped a stud/bolt in half. No apology, just "here's half your bolt but don't worry it's safe to drive"... NO, it's not. I asked them to document my receipt and then ended up paying labor & parts to a shop for a new hub (my car does not have separate studs). Beware to save yourself a wasted trip. Will not inspect street legal golf carts that are NC tagged like any other street legal vehicle. Quite a mystery to me why I was turned away today. Horrible Customer Service My wife took our vehicle to get Inspected at this Denver location. When she arrived, she spoke with Zachary who upon inspecting the vehicle told her we needed new wiper blades and if she didn't get new wiper blades the vehicle would not pass inspection. I drove that vehicle in the rain on Saturday, trust me, the car did NOT need new wiper blades. But, she told them to go ahead so it would pass Inspection. Then told her it was an additional $10.00 Dollars because the windows were tinted, we have never had to pay for this charge before, When I looked at the NC Inspection Website it is only an additional charge for After Market Tint, this was Factory Tint. We tried talking with Zachary and he stated "We charge for all tint on vehicles" which is NOT NC Inspection Guidelines. When she tried to talk with the Manager, Brandon Phuntek, who got upset because my wife interrupted him eating lunch in his car, walked over, looked at the tint, basically said it's not Factory and walked off back to his car to finish his lunch leaving my wife standing there. Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional, I called Corporate Office and they were great, they are going to handle the matter with my wife and I. Brandon Phuntek could have taken care of it easily but lacks basic supervision skills to deal with Customers and the General Public. WORSE OIL CHANGE PLACE EVER!!!! 1 STAR BC IT MADE ME PICK ONE, 0 WASN'T A OPTION Visted this location a few weeks ago, Upon arrival @4 the so called assistant manager asked me to come back in 30 minutes they were busy and short on help...Should have took that as a sign and kept on going.... Instead went back about 4:30. There was a gentleman in the waiting room complaining about his service while he was there. (Should've took that as another sign but really needed the oil change ) After being in the waiting room for 1HOUR..I have the assistant manager come tell me they couldn't change my oil because THEY BROKE A PIECE OFF MY OIL FILTER, THEN HE TELLS ME THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO GET THE PIECE TO FIX IT TILL THE NEXT DAY...I had 4 kids to pick up, get home and to work the next day. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER TOLD ME I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR NOTHING, Went back the next day to pick up my car and he tells me all they can take off is $20....!!!!!! After to speaking with home office, area manager and his manager nothing was changed. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN TO. He thought that was reasonable!!! Newest update: After filing my BBB claim I spoke with a guy, I guess above the regional manager (?), he seemed very pleasant and caring.. Told me I was a "wife, mother, loved one to others" so forth so on.. He seemed to want to fix tbe problem.. He then got off the phone to contact the regional manager who vetoed fixing the problem they caused.. Got a call back, guess what? This man now also vetoed fixing my car or funding me even the simple 20 bucks I spent to get my tires rotated, a service that they FAILED AT.. Just want to make sure everyone that is following this and is sharing with friends and family around the area see the HORRIBLE care and integrity of this business and continue to pass the word along! Hello to all Denver residents. My name is Whitney, I am a nurse, wife, and mother of 4. I would love to share my experience with Valvoline that is located by Cook Out and Autobell on 73 so that others can avoid them. I strongly advise no one to use their services for the safety of yourself and others who ride in your car. I took my car for a typical oil change and tire rotation. Shortly after Valvoline providing these services to my car I began to hear a very weird noise coming from my car. As this clicking sound became louder I decided it was time to take my car into Toyota (I own a Toyota Sequoia) to see what exactly was going on. As I pulled into the service line the first guy (employee) I started to speak to walked around my car and began to hand twist my lug nuts, come to find out my rear tired had 4 out of 5 lug nuts loose. These lug nuts were loose enough that he twisted them a few times and they fell into his hands. Toyota looked over the rest of the car and put the lug nuts on with the appropriate pressure needed to tighten the lug nuts. Long story short, one of my studs was stripped and will need to be replaced due to the tire rubbing the ridges on the stud when the lug nuts were loose (Valvolines fault). As my husband has being dealing with the store manager you could tell he felt bad and wanted to help us. After contacting his regional manager the regional manager vetoed fixing the problem HIS EMPLOYEES caused. This manager stated that since we took the car to toyota (we had no clue what was going on with it and needed to know I was driving my children around safely) they no longer are liable. To top it off, my husband took the car to Valvoline last night for them to look over it themselves.. They then called my husband within 30 minutes (of him getting home from Valvoline where they wanted to look at the stud themselves) stating their computer system told them to tighten the lug nuts with amount of 41 torque and after doing futher research (because it seemed like a low amount) found they needed to be tightened at 83 torque. The store manager came to our house on his drive home to tighten them down so that "they didnt loosen up" on us. THERE HE ADMITTED THEIR SYSTEM WAS WRONG AND THEY CAUSED THE ISSUE FROM THE START. Long rant to let everyone know, for the safety of you and the others who ride with you AVOID THE USE OF VALVOLINE DENVER. Very disappointed that they cared SO LITTLE about the huge safety concern they caused and had no empathy to fix something THEY DID!
