Went here for my first state inspection. I booked online for an appointment. Super easy. The staff were great and friendly. It took about 30min on a Saturday. I paid $40 total. It was $30 for the inspections and an extra $10 for the window tint. Would come here again for next year. read more

Another pleasant visit! Stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation and was promptly greeted by Rob. All the employees here are so friendly; they really make you feel like a valued customer. The service was completed quickly. The tech informed me the tire rotation was not needed at this time, so that saved me some money. When Ian was processing my bill, he was kind enough to scan a coupon which saved me even more! Quite confused as to why a standard oil change came out to 95.00. Service rendered yes, but that is absurd. Never again.

Professional and friendly. They did not try and upsell me. The work was performed quickly.

UPDATED: I emailed them, per the comment on this review, and heard nothing back. But then I posted the review to Google, and the manager gave me a call. She was really nice about everything, offering for me to return and have fluids topped off, the car vacuumed, checking to ensure the oil was changed which was great. I did tell her that I'm not really over in that area much, I'd gone that day just for this so they made it right and gave me a refund! I have to admit that I really appreciate that she took the time to call me and find a way to fix the situation. I've boosted the star rating for that. It helps me know that this isn't typical. This is the first time I've been to SpeeDee, and had never heard of them before. I saw good reviews online so I called to get an estimate on the oil change. They were really nice so I felt good about it. I'll admit, I was pleased with how quick they were to complete my oil change but now I know why. The checklist is a LIE. They say they vacuum the interior. They did not. The leaves and dirt that was there when I brought it was still there. I checked the washer fluid that should have been topped off. It wasn't. I couldn't check anything else cause I'm too short (being a wheelchair user) so who knows what else was not topped off, checked, or even done. Did they check my tire pressure? No idea. Maybe, but I doubt it. Did they look at air filters or brake fluid? Who knows. I do really hope and pray they actually did the oil change and changed the filter. It's hard to trust. When a place does not tend to the little things, how can they be trusted to tend to the bigger things? Needless to say, I don't think I'll be back. Yes, they were very nice but nice only goes so far. The job has to be done fully. I went there vs Walmart to ensure all these items were checked, but I have no confidence in that. read more

Today was my first time visiting SpeeDee and it was fantastic!! I was getting my brakes replaced, so I had the opportunity to observe the staff and they were incredible, constantly interacting with their customers waiting and providing updates. Taking the time to explain and provide the customer with options/advice WITHOUT being pushy/salesmen. Chris O. is amazing, so incredibly trustworthy and honest, Chris O. is the reason I will be back!! Prices were unbelievable, especially with the over the top service!! Still doing a great job. If you need an oil change, inspection, or any small to medium repairs... These are your people! I arrived around 4pm Thursday and was greeted immediately before I even parked, by Aaliyah. I needed a damaged wiper blade replaced and my son needed a headlight fixed. Josh joined us and took care of both repairs in about 20 minutes. I was driving home less than 30 minutes after I arrived... Nice! As I said in my last review, the employees always seem pretty happy and not stressed or rushed. That tells me, management is hiring the right people, and treating them well. read more

Quick and easy! They were busy, but I only waited for about an hour and a half? I went for an oil change, wiper change, and state inspection. Annette, came out and advised me that as my car just hit 60,000 , it's recommended by my manufacturer (I have a Nissan, as does she with the same amount of miles) to have a system flush when you hit 60,000, and also informed me about the brake system needing to be addressed. Of course being skeptical, as automotive companies LOVE to push additional work, Annette explained it is not necessary, it is only recommended, and how they do not push what it not needed, only advise of what your specific manufacturer needs. Long story short, I ended up going with it, and she had a coupon that helped me save some money off of the total purchase! Definitely sending my husband here for his car inspection too!! read more

Horrible customer service. Came here for my state inspection like I have in the past. I drive a 2012 Mazda that I purchased in 2011. Was told by SpeeDee employee that I would fail the inspection because my tint was too dark. I explained this was the tint it's always had when purchased from the dealership and it's always passed, including years prior when I have had my inspection done at this very SpeeDee. They pretty much told me tough luck. I left and went directly to another mechanic and sure enough- passed inspection no issues like it had for the past 12 years. Needless to say I will never be back. I tried adding refrigerant to my AC unit and that didn't work. Took my car here for them to tell me what was wrong with it and they told me it needed a new compressor with a 1.3k estimate. I took it back there to get fixed and it up costing a couple hundred less, was satisfied with service. read more

This place does good work fast. The one time where we had something go wrong they honored it and owned it. Our plastic skid plate wasn't put back correctly and it fell down on one side and was chewed up by the pavement...They ordered and all new skid plate and fasteners for us...Once it came in there was no waiting they pulled us straight into an open bay and put it on. They also games us a future discount card. All of this happened over a year ago and we have gone back for every oil change since. These people know how to keep your business. read more

My first visit here was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly. I brought my car in for an oil change and was told that my brake fluid also needed to be changed. The mechanic explained to me what this meant and even showed me the new brake fluid vs the old. I was in and out in 30 minutes for both of these services. Will definitely be going back! read more

Consistently great service. I have used this location for regular oil changes, servicing my old tires and a purchased a set of new tires. As a single female I have never (yet) felt that they were dishonest or trying to take advantage. I recently took my car here to have it inspected. The guy that greeted me was super nice and personable. However, when I told him I wanted an inspection he told me, rather quickly, that I needed new breaks. He walked around the car, looked at 2 of my breaks/tires and said my car wouldn't pass inspection without new breaks. I questioned him and he gave me a story about some guy who's breaks went out on him as soon as he pulled up to SpeeDee and blah blah blah. My daughter was with me and he told me that if it was his car he wouldn't risk driving his kids in it. I was on a time limit and told him I'd have to come back. He gave me a price and said he'd take 15% off the bill. I drove around the corner to another auto service place and asked for my car to be inspected. I explained what the SpeeDee guy told me. They did the inspection, which passed, and double checked my breaks ... nothing was wrong with my breaks. I WILL NOT be returning to this SpeeDee! Such BS! read more

DO NOT take your car here for an inspection. They failed mine because the "technician" felt that my passenger windshield wiper was "bent". Not torn, not streaking. Bent. When I proceeded to show him that the widshield wipers worked just fine he said he was the technician and it was up to him to deternime whether it passed or failed. They would not give me my keys until I paid them for failing me. After paying I immediately went to my mechanic who looked at the wiper blade in question and said there was nothing wrong with it. I then took it to the dealer next door and passed the inspection which I had to pay for again. read more
