I had my car serviced here for the first time 3 weeks ago; fluids topped off and tire pressure checked. David helped me and was patient, thorough and detail oriented. This week I noticed one of my fluid lights on. I came back in to ask questions. Jaime who is the manager assisted me this time (along with David). Boy, this guy was super aggressive and defensive. Cars are not my area of expertise, so I am careful about how inquire (since I don't know squat). My partner was with me and observed the same. Over talking your customer is always unprofessional. I mentioned it but not sure if my message was received. He was rude and aggressive. David was still patient, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Please do not take your car to this Valvoline. They will remove your air filter and not put it back correctly. I ended up stranded after traveling one block away. Turns out, the technicians were trying to shove the filter back and ended up: 1. Not placing the filter back correctly, damaging the seal 2. Not securing the housing back correctly This cause air to escape and the mass airflow sensor acting up. I would prefer if they wouldn't touch/force/tamper with anything if they do not know what they are doing. they were messing around with the air filter for over 10 minutes of them attempting to forcibly shove it back after "offering a replacement" when they didn't even have one to begin with. (I initially agreed to have the replacement, however, they didn't have the one for my car) I will not be returning to Valvoline due to this headache and time wasting process I had to go through getting parts and returns. What should've been a routine oil change became a payed inconvenience. Not worth the value at all. read more

This location has lazy customer service at times. When they are busy make sure they follow up with their policies. I went in for an oil change and part of their check points was to fill the tires with air. I had requested that they check and refill one of my tires that was really low. When I drove away I noticed the tire was measurements were the same low. A dangerous overlook had I not rechecked the tire before getting on to the freeway. read more

I went in for a quick oil change and by the time I was leaving, they had a whole list of things they we're trying to upsell me. They took no for an answer though and it was a quick oil change and I was out of there within 15 minutes. Convenient but just be aware that they hard upsell. It was $80 for an oil change with synthetic oil but I had a coupon for 20% off. You can get that right from their Yelp page. read more

They don't drain the oil how it's regularly done everywhere they don't take the bolt off the oil pan they put in a hose that sucks the oil out the oil pan, I drove a block and my check engine light started flashing they sent out a tech turns out my right air filter they installed incorrectly which is crazy it's such a simple thing to do anyways that wasn't the bigger issue I requested a tow truck so they can inspect the car themselves and they didn't want to pay for it I had to drive my car with the engine shaking and rattling. Anyways I got there and like 5 dudes tried to fix it and they weren't trying to take responsibility saying the codes popped up for a sensor in the camshaft trying to blame it on me for changing the oil somewhere else when I pulled up it was perfectly fine lol they wanted me to pay for a tow truck pay a mechanic and then call customer support or the manager, I waited there for like 3 hours waiting for my mechanic to come he found out it was the hose that goes in to drain the oil was the culprit I previously had told them at least 10 times I thought it was that and all the techs would swear it had nothing to do with that. They showed me the footage of when it was getting drained I noticed that the hose almost fell off when they had it on my car that probably took out oil from other parts of the engine and was making my shit drive nasty. Anyways when my mechanic pulled up he scanned the codes and fixed it in less than 2 minutes (my mechanic said the hose will damage a lot of shit in the engines compartment) anyways he revved it up high I guess that made the oil circulate everywhere. Anyways the only good people who were actually helpful was the 2 girls in the front that take down your information the tech they sent out was also a very cool guy and Oscar was pretty cool as well. Anyways I'm never coming again this is extremely cheap oil but for like $100 what can you expect not much. My engine would've fucked up if I never called my mechanic I'd recommend no one ever come here and take it to your local mechanic where you can choose the oil of your choice mine is usually mobile oil. read more
