Took my car for diagnostic and end up I had to change the alternator and battery (cost me over a grand). Exact one week later, the engine light is back again. Came in for an oil change and a new tire but also asked them to just run a basic diagnostics on the car to see if anything else needed to be done. They were able to pinpoint a few things that needed to be adjusted and replaced. They got me in Sameday. Got my car back within 24 hours and has it running like it's brand new. the technician Ray was super helpful and made sure I got everything I needed at a great price and didn't waste my time with anything small I can do on my own windshield wipers. Beware!!stay away!!!! Went in here to get a tire pressure sensor replaced. The next day the light came back on. Took the car back, they changed all 4 sensors and still not fixed. Fernando told me to take it to the Chevy Dealership since it might be my computer he said. I knew that wasn't correct, literally took it down the street to performance tires. Grand rising woke up today, really bothered drained and irritated. Location 3800 cherry Ave CA 90807, where I took my vehicle to get service because my car kept pulling to the right. So I took it to their shop. And told them, can you do a diagnostic test and find out what's going on? Why my car is pulling to the side? So Jason brown said okay. Let me take a look at it and we'll find out what's going on. So you have me by 2 foo tires. Then call me back in to tell me that I needed a new axle because the o. Axle is leaking, so I was like okay. They also did a oil change. After that They call me hours later and told me that I could come pick up my car so when I come. Pick up my car and I get on the freeway. I get to about 55 in my car. Start pulling to the right again, jaking. So I took my car back up there and told him that. Hey, what's going on? My car is not fixed. You told me my car was fixed that the problem was fixed. I said there's No way that you all test. Drove this car because you would have clearly seen that the problem is still there. Now they're telling me that it might be something else. I told them no I told you to find out what the problem was from the beginning, not guess so they end up telling me that oh the A. ARM is out on the right, I ask them does the left one need to be replaced? They said no. They're still good. I said okay fine. So after they claim they fixed my car. I get back on the freeway car. Start doing the same thing again now. Frustrated because I have to take My car back up to the shop. So now that I go in, they're telling me that. Oh, it might be something else so I. Told them you had me pay for all this other stuff. And now you're telling me something else. I said my car is literally doing the same thing. Why didn't you not correctly check my car? I was told that it was not his problem. I spent over $1400 at that shop. It almost crashed twice with my family in the car. I do not recommend this place for anyone no. Regard for human life, let alone disable people. I am very disappointed, and field took advantage of. Can't believe that they altered. The results on my will alignment. Will be seeking legal counsel. Fast Service. I had a flat tire that needed to be patched. I came here since it was the closest place to my job. The guy at the front was alright. He helped me and quoted me on what it would cost. Since I was in a hurry and had to pick up my wife I asked if I could leave it and pick it up after. I came back like an hour later and the tire was already fixed and they were kind enough to swap it out with the spare I had on my car. Overall I would recommend this place if you have a flat, I was a walk in and they were able to do it fast. read more

Stopped in to get my low tire pressure checked. Pressure was good and they thought it was a sensor. Asked again if they saw any nails, and sure enough there was one upon second inspection. Offered to do a patch at no charge. Fixed up the patch and was on my way. Spent less than an hour in the shop. Will keep this place in mind if I'm in the area and in need again. read more

I had a nail in my tire and had called ahead before coming to this location. When I called ahead, I was put on hold twice and talked to 2 different people who said that I would be able to come in and get a patch done. Once I had arrived, I had asked again about getting a patch and was told that the shop was waiting on their supplier for a shipment of patches. I was confused since I had called ahead and then was told that there was no phone call. I had confirmed with the employee that I did in fact call Tire Choice Auto Service Center. Anyways, the employee looked at my tire and said that my tires were bald and that he wasn't going to put a patch on a bald tire. He said that I should a new set. I declined and said I just wanted the nail removed from my tire and I just wanted a patch. He declined the service and said that I should buy a new set. I left. I know that my tires were not bald because I just got a tire rotation and I know I would've been told to buy a new set then. Would just not recommend coming here read more

I really appreciate Fernando for being honest. People always try to get over on women, and after being quoted a pretty high number at another Tire shop near downtown, I decided to look around. I'd gone to the original shop for a patch, was told they couldn't patch my tire and I needed a new one, but oh btw, you should replace them all so a full set is 1200. So going from a patch to 1200 was a no. I DID buy one tire at the place in downtown, but left. A few days later I went to TC and Fernando gave me an honest quote, that was hundreds of dollars cheaper, explaining that I did need new tires but still had life if I so chose to drive them, and suggested at least replacing the remaining rear tire for balance purposes. The honesty was enough to have me move forward with the remaining tires, again hundreds of dollars cheaper. read more

Well once again I didn't learn my lesson and tried using this place to get an alignment. Ive taken 3 other of my vehicles in the past and all miraculously couldn't be aligned, coincidence? Who knows. Well as it turns out my current vehicle couldn't be aligned after new parts were installed. I was getting up sold on stuff I didn't need and decided to back out. Well apparently they backed my inner tie rod out somehow too far in the process to achieve the alignment. Luckily I got home before my Vehicle fell apart and it didn't happen on the road. Terrible place. I got an Amazon tire installation service scheduled here but when I arrived they gave fake reasons why they couldn't do the service, but give them another $75 and they claimed they could. A bait and switch, never schedule a tire installation here online. read more

Brought our Impala here for break service. Breaks kept failing every few days. They re-did it 3X but the breaks kept failing. Finally took it to another mechanic who repaired something called the "master cylinder" which is part of the breaking system. I was in need of an alignment. The only availability I had was Thanksgiving weekend. After being told by another company that the earliest appointment was Dec 2nd- I decided to look elsewhere on Yelp. I received a quote and an 8AM appt from a company nearby. I arrived at said place at 7:45AM- I was checked in by Fernando who asked for my appt confirmation-but didn't demand a code of any sort and he happily accepted my vehicle. I decided to walk to Starbucks and work while I waited. On my walkover- I noticed I had made a huge error- my appt wasn't with Tire Choice but actually at a another company. I contemplated turning around to confess my error- but I was in need of an alignment and Fernando had been so gracious. I continued my walk to Starbucks to work and enjoy a hot tea. After about 1.5 hrs I was notified that my vehicle was ready. When I arrived I confessed to Fernando and Jason that I made an error and in fact did not have an appointment with Tire Choice. Be careful with this place when I first walked in for an oil change and the tech said I needed synthetic oil for my car (no I didn't) its a 2005 Corolla and that oil change was significantly higher price. Then to get the 19.99 oil change as advertised I needed to fill out an application that included my social security number(Nope). I would not recommend this place. read more
