Another update 7/19/23 I called that customer service number and was put on a three way call with the area manager, who put ALL the blame on me, despite not having driven the vehicle much at all after my oil change. Nice guy, huh... I asked to end the call with customer service due to how he was acting and it wasn't until he asked the person in customer service to hang up that it ended after he said they weren't gonna pay for anything, denying any claim. 7/19/23 My coolant hose was intact and my vehicle was NOT leaking oil before valvoline. Doesn't matter if there was a service bulletin years ago that I never got. The hose was fine yet. Had I known it would have been replaced and I know the vehicle has been to Toyota since the bulletins came out. Very disappointing. They (valvoline) are a corporation and so far have only looked for a way out, a way to blame, and accept any responsibility for the problems I have had since pulling out of the valvoline location. Word to the wise, trust your car to a shop with good experienced mechanics you trust for ANY service over convenience. A shop has mechanics that have been working on cars for years. Quick is not always good and now I have hundreds of dollars in damages to my vehicle, and my driveway, plus no vehicle for a week, and may have to look for a vehicle soon if the vehicle heads south now. Still don't have my vehicle and won't have it til tomorrow, with who knows what damage to it. Definately should Not have trusted them with my vehicle. 7/19/23 They shouldn't get one star even. read more

This is by far the worst Valvoline I have ever been to. The service was a joke they kept coming out to tell me it was not going to be much longer. An hour and a half later I was in. Then the left me for 10 minutes to do god know what. Over 35 minutes for an instant oil change is a joke. read more

Don't go here. I was a loyal customer knowing I was paying for convenience. So it was the outrageous prices that deterred me from coming here.. I had to go to a shop and have some work done and holy s%&t did they mess with my car. First and foremost, they didnt put the plug back in properly and I was losing oil and well as pressure. The filter was put in wrong, too! Now I'm being told that the air filter I overpaid $40 for wasnt in properly installed and dirt is getting into my engine. Wow guys, thanks. Never again! read more

I am out over $1000 in repairs thanks to this place. Within 18 hours of my oil change, the oil light came on and our vehicle smelled of burning oil. Valvoline checked it out and found it to be an oil coolant line, and not the filter. Since the coolant line was "nowhere near the filter", they weren't responsible. However, it turns out this coolant line is very near the filter. So close to it, in fact, that it TOUCHES the filter. Valvoline then just dug in their heels and said there is no way it was their fault. The Valvoline area manager's exact words were that it was "coincidental." If you hire a plumber and within 18 hours your house is flooded, wouldn't the plumber at least be a suspect? Many folks go with the big name oil change place because they feel secure that it will be covered if something goes wrong. Valvoline uses all their resources against you to ensure they don't have to pay. At the end of the day, I can just live my life the best way I possibly can. I'm just happy I don't have to be in a position like this area manager who has to choose saving his firm money over repairing damage his incompetent staff caused. I brought my 2008 Ford Escape in for an oil change and had them put on a new wiper blade in the back. Smelled oil burning when I left the shop but thought maybe they spilled some on engine. Kept on smelling oil. Next oil change I bought the oil filter. The filter that Valvoline used on my 2008 Ford was really small. When I looked up the number on filter turns out it was for a 2009 Ford. They also broke the arm on the wiper. Nice job (NOT!) Valvoline - I won't be back! Sincerely - a dis-satisfied customer! read more

Very disappointed with the service. I have a leased vehicle which is a fleet vehicle and I needed several things done to include tire rotation. They didn't have the correct socket to remove my lug nuts and was told they would get it that evening or early morning and call me in the morning to get them rotated. No call back so I called them with no answer so I let a message. No callback 2 hours later and I called back again. They tell me that they can't get get the correct socket from the Ford dealership but to get it from SnapOn. I live in Portage so I will not be coming back again for service. Will take my business to Midas. read more

Fantastic place for a quick oil change! I've been bringing my car here since I moved to Oshkosh and have not experienced anything but fantastic and quick service. The entire staff is fantastic! Very friendly and professional. They are not pushy with any additional services but do mention them along with the recommended time to replace them. I will always bring my car here. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Receipt reads Topside: Clayton; Bottomside: Brentyn - One of those a**hats likely ruined my 2015 Buick Encore. Simple oil change turned into a nightmare. They spilled a ton of oil all over on engine and who knows where else and didn't tell me. Drove away and smoke coming from driver's side under hood. Then engine light came on. They checked the code, cleared it and said it was fine to drive, that it was just a gas cap code. Engine light came back on. I googled "spilled oil on engine" only to find that this is dangerous! Car can start on fire. You would think a $90 oil change would be safer and more professional than this. I am beyond pissed. read more

They were very thorough. Anthony was very professional. Only waited 5 minutes. Checked tires, lights and filter. Happy with the service.

Had my engine oil and transmission fluid changed on Both of my vehicles here...At 44k miles and 64k miles both vehicles engines were making noise after the they changed the oil and transmissions were not shifting correctly. GM Dealer found they used the wrong engine oil filter and oil and Trans. Fluid was way over full. Way over priced. I will Never go here again!! read more

Awesome service! I went in for an oil change and a couple flushes the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They answered my questions about other auto problems I was having and made some recommendations for me. They even checked to see why my check engine light was on. Honestly out was one guy who really helped me with it all unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but I believe he was a manager. Let me just start off by saying that one star doesn't even fit this place, but it won't let me leave 0. This place has the shittiest customer service I have experienced in my life. The employees were so rude, mainly the manager. All he did was give orders as to what should be done and roll his eyes while doing so. "Turn the car off miss" "Make sure to leave your keys on your dash miss" " just letting you know you battery is bad and one day it won't start miss" I am so frustrated and can honestly say that I will never return to this establishment and won't hesitate to let everyone know how terrible this place is. The guy I dealt with is a poor excuse of a human being. Have some god damn manners. read more

Unbelievable how bad their service is. The tech somehow sprayed transmission fluid all over the car - all over the paint and the entire engine. Said a button got stuck. Gave my son a $10 discount and told him to take the car to get it washed. The oil does not come off from a car wash and the serpentine belt and wipers were covered in oil causing the belt to slip and the wiper to be ineffective. When I called there, I was told he was sent to the car wash to get the smell out of the car only and if my kid told me that it was to get the car clean - "He is a liar". I was also told I would see a refund on his card - nothing. read more

The most incompetent staff and the slimiest owner I have ever come in contact with. After admittedly breaking my oil pan they have made it hell to get my car fixed and my expenses refunded. They have towed my car to a shop I did not approve. The staff at this location is not only poorly trained in customer service but they have no business working on certain cars, their knowledge is beyond basic. The owner refuses to have his phone number given and if you have an issue you will have to trust a 20 something kid to solve it because the owner is too scared to get on the phone and deal with an unsatisfied customer. I was left no choice but to contact a lawyer and their corporate office. read more

Stay far away from this place unless you want to throw your money away. They charged my wife more than $65 for an oil change on a 4 cylinder SUV. It was synthetic oil, new filter, and fluid checks and top-offs, but I get exactly the same service PLUS tire rotations on my F150 at the local Ford dealer for $30. The $65 didn't include a Tire rotation, so how can Valvoline possibly justify more than twice as much as what a DEALER would charge??? Also, a $10 discount coupon was available to all customers at the time, but my wife didn't see it and it wasn't offered to her at the time of sale. If that wasn't enough, they charged her for $44 for a cabin air filter that she could have bought on eBay (same exact Valvoline part number) for less than half that. Needless to say, we won't be returning, but will tell everybody we know about our experience. I don't even want to rate it one star, but it won't let me rate zero. read more
