Great customer service, I've never waited more than 10 minutes, and I feel as if they do a thorough job with not only the oil change but checking all the other things on my vehicle! Went in for oil change & it seemed thorough and well received however my change oil light came back on the next day when starting the car. I had to drive an hour round trip back to Valvoline, wait for appx 45 minutes to be seen. I thought they would go back over everything more thoroughly but they just thought the light needed resetting which was fortunately the case. I paid appx $80 for a mixed synthetic blend change and overheard a customer saying at Walmart how glad he was a change was only $50. This was the first time I've had an issue at valvoline and these things do happen. read more

My father and son went to the Valvoline on Westport Road today Sunday 1-28.They arrived at 12:45.I know exact time because my son and I use an app that shows our location and time.There was one car in the bay.It took almost an hour before my fathers car was allowed onto the bay.Once they pulled in it was another 45 min before they completed an oil change.They advertise about 15 min.I called my son 3 times to find out what was going on.I needed him to be home by 2:30.It was exactly 1:08 when I asked him why he was on Westport road.At 2:33 he said they just paid and was on their way home.1 hr and 48 min to do 2 oil changes. read more

I was in town and needed a place to do a quick oil change for my daughter's vehicle. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. There was a pretty sizable line and I waited about 40 minutes in the lot. No big deal, it was nice and I enjoyed the sunshine. I pulled into the bay for service and that's when it all went downhill. The service took over an hour-literally over an hour. One experienced worker was leading a crew of what appeared to be new hires. They lacked the experience and know-how to get things going. It really showed. The crew leader was doing his best but he was doing it all, seriously. When they finally were finished they did the pressure test and the oil filter was leaking. They tried to tighten it and then got the tool stuck on the filter, and had trouble getting to come loose. This did not lead to confidence at all. This is my daughter's car and we live 4hrs away, I need a place that knows what they are doing. I would not recommend this location on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is a nice alternative to taking your car to a dealership. If you watch for specials, you can save significantly over going to your dealer. And unless you hit them at a peak time, you are likely to be in and out in under 30 minutes, which is worth some money in and of itself. The big downside to going here is that they are going to try to upsell you services in the moment. So if you are prone to saying yes, you should probably stay away. Otherwise, they will be flushing things for you left and right. read more

Stopped in to have an oil change. I watched the technician drop parts as he was working to inspect the air filter. After the service I asked if they had located the parts (screws)? This was escalated to the store manager who informed me that missing parts were OK in this case....I explained that as a customer I expected to leave with all the parts that I'd arrived with and then went through his attempt to apply the absolute wrong part. He did offer to order the parts... At this point, I left...Left Vehicle had oil on the paint, communication, service quality and care were poor. Won't be back. read more

Horrible!!!! I took my car to Valvoline for an oil change. There were so many people pretending to work on my car! The "experience" took 9 minutes I even doubt my oil was changed. I drove out of there with a flat tire that they had pretended to add air, plus worst of all, they burnt my headlight and turn signal light and let me drive out of there like that so that I could endanger myself and others! To top it all, they didn't give me a sticker to show when to have an oil change again probably because they did not do one! I will call them during business hours and hope they will fix my lights that they burned lest I get a ticket! After that, I'll never go back there again. I thought I would give them another chance. I like Valvoline oil change for the convince. But at this point they are just a hassle. Can't seem to put skid plate on correctly. 3 times in a row. I did take it else where once never had a issue. Will be going back to them moving forward. I don't understand how hard it can be. Pull a screw out put it back in. Seems easy. I scoffed at the whole '15-minute' thing until I went there. One care was ahead of me and I still got out of there in 15-minutes. They let me stay in my car, and my pajamas ! They had 3 or 4 guys doing their thing while another guy stayed with me completed the invoice etc. They were extremely friendly and worked like a well 'oiled' machine. I will most definitely send everyone I know to this business. There are no more excuses to not take care of my car! read more

I'm sure they do a good job changing your oil but be careful. The technician's at the Westport Road location will try to up-charge you. My daughter was at that location on Sunday July 31st with her 2015 vehicle and wanted synthetic blend oil. They told her that synthetic blend is not appropriate for her car and she needed full synthetic oil at a cost of $140. She declined the full synthetic and they told her they would put synthetic blend in her car but it would void the engine warranty. Needless to say she did not get her oil changed at that location. read more

Just got an oil change. Very helpful and service time ended at 18 mins. I recommend getting here 5 mins before they open or 30 mins after on a Saturday morning to beat a rush. Nobody in line behind me at the moment. The guy was extremely helpful and only explained things when I asked questions. Highly recommend. read more

They send me coupons. I like coupons. They get you in and out quickly, so, thumbs up on that one. I've not found a way to avoid listening to their spiel about add-on services, but it isn't a hard sell. I don't actually know anything about cars, but mine continues to run and the check oil light never comes on between oil changes. So they pass my test. read more

Came in for a oil change before I headed home to see my family 4 hours ago and now my car won't start Valvoline Instant Oil Change technicians have said we are not qualified to diagnose and or fix this issue. I had to take it upon myself and walk to a near by mechanic shop and by the grace of God a tech was willing to drive us back and take a look. I am beyond disappointed with the service from what should have been a 15min job as advertised. DO Not I repeat DO NOT bring your car here for any type of service!!! read more
