The oil is up to where it is shiny in the pic. Should be half that. Todd the owner won't admit wrongdoing and I have no transportation now.

Beware. This is what they did to me. Went for oil change, and they only replaced the filter but did not drain my old oil. They then added 4.3 MORE quarts to my engine. Todd the owner was the man in the lower bay that day. When he came to look at my car (which did run shitty after the oil change then died after 500 miles) he told me I must not know how to read a dipstick and it was an air or fuel issue. WTF? Take pride in your work and don't tell lies. A photo is attached. I am also GMail User and posted as such, but wanted you to know I am a real person. They destroyed my engine and refuse to take any responsibility.

    Really exciting stuff.

It is what it is. It's a service station. The guys aren't mechanics. They just service the cars they get. They aren't trained to tell you what is wrong with the vehicle. For example - last time I was in here, they mentioned that I was a little low on coolant. So they topped me up. What they didn't say is WHY it was low on coolant. They didn't see the leak. My point is - I don't think they really look for or notice these things. So to investigate mechanical issues, take it to a mechanic. This place is fine for regular service to a vehicle. It is expensive for what it is, but you pay for that convenience. It is quick.

The oil is so above full it is ridiculous. 2x the oil needed. Todd the owner won't admit wrongdoing. Didn't drain old oil, just put more in.

Before EVER scheduling the appointment, we specifically called and asked two very important questions: Is this repair covered under our warranty, and can Hyundai of Louisville perform the repair? We were told yes to both. We relied on that information when deciding to make the trip. Communication leading up to and during the process was extremely poor. It took multiple phone calls to get ahold of anyone, and much of the communication was eventually done through text. After dropping the van off, we were told the next day that it was, in fact, the lifter issue we had already told them about -- but suddenly we were told they couldn't perform the repair. We were also told at that point that they didn't even know whether it would be covered under warranty. We explained that we live two hours away and were understandably frustrated that we had made the entire trip based on information their service department had given us. We were told there was a Chrysler dealership across the street and that they could take it there. Except our van then sat at Hyundai for six days before it was finally taken to Chrysler. During this entire process, we were not offered a rental vehicle, there was no real apology for the inconvenience, and we repeatedly had to chase them for updates. Once it was transferred to Chrysler, Hyundai essentially washed their hands of the situation and told us it was now Chrysler's problem and that they would be in contact with us. Chrysler then contacted us and explained that the only information they had received was essentially a sticky note with our name and phone number. They had no real background on the situation. They couldn't get to the van until the following week because, understandably, they are a busy dealership and we had never actually been scheduled with them. So now, after being without our van for two weeks, we are driving another 4 hours round trip tomorrow to pick it up- and the original problem still hasn't been fixed. We will now have to take it to a local Chrysler dealership and start over trying to figure out the warranty and repair. The most frustrating part is that all of this could have been avoided. We called Hyundai of Louisville BEFORE scheduling specifically to make sure they could handle this repair and that it would be covered under warranty. Had we been given accurate information from the beginning, we could have taken it to a local Chrysler dealership and saved ourselves multiple 4-hour round trips, gas money, time, childcare/family logistics, and an enormous amount of frustration. Things happen and sometimes dealerships can't perform certain repairs. That's not what I'm upset about. I'm upset that we were given incorrect information before making the appointment, and then once they realized they couldn't handle it, there was very little urgency, communication, or accountability. As a family of six, our van is our primary means of transportation. Being without it for two weeks because of a situation that could have been avoided with accurate information and basic communication has been incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, reliability, communication, and customer service throughout this experience has left a very bad impression. We genuinely wish we had spent our money on our family vehicle with a company that valued our business enough to be honest and accountable when we needed service.

They checked the alignment and a few other things in the front suspension and gave it a clean bill of health. It drives so much nicer now. Let me tell you about a very disappointing experience I have had over the past several months with…read morerepairs to my car done at the Preston Highway TireDiscounters location. It started on August 2, 2025 with the purchase of four new Cooper Endeavor Tires with the 36 month warranty and lifetime repair. I was also told I needed new brakes and rotors. Out the door for only $2455.98. Several months go by and on May 19, 2026 I return for a rotation, balance, and alignment. Well this time I apparently need shocks, struts and control arms. $1630.58 more and they couldn't do the alignment part because something was "locked up".Not a week later on May 25, I was driving in the rain and the cars steering was loose and erratic and I sideswiped a curb which blew out the 2 drivers side tires. I took it the next day and had two new tires put on, but inexplicably, they put them on the same side if the car instead of on the same axle. The next time it rained the steering was completely compromised and I had to pull off the road. So I took it back in and was told I needed shocks and struts (again), a new CV boot and axle shaft, a rack and pinion assembly, and $4124.25. And by the way, those tires you bought a year ago that are worn down to the wire mesh aren't covered under warranty because the suspension was causing them to wear irregularly and you don't have the road hazard warranty, which it turns out, I did. So my questions are as follows: 1. How did they not notice the wear on the front tires when they did the rotation, or when they did the control arms, shocks and struts and let me know at that time? Had I known that the 1600 I put into that repair was going to be pointless as the front suspension also had severe issues, I WOULD HAVE MADE THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE DECISION. 2. What kind of tire professionals put two new tires on the same side of the car. Even I know that new tires go on the same axle. Could this have caused/exacerbated the front suspension needing major work? Its either that, or they purposefully neglected to tell me about the existing issues going on in front. So either they messed up my car by putting the new tires on wrong, or they failed to tell me about the front tires and suspension being a severe danger. Either way a pretty sketchy way to milk another 4 grand out of me. 3. What absolute NERVE of them to not honor the warranty and have me leave the shop in a dangerous vehicle. I don't give a damn about how new tires "would just wear down in a month or so" when your warranty covers replacement or repair and they knew my tires could blow at any time. I am infuriated at the time , money, rental car fees, and the fact that EVERY TIME I LEAVE THAT SHOP MY CAR IS WORSE THAN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN. Strangely enough, I have a documented PPI by a certified mechanic who inspected my vehicle on March 10, 2026 which indicates both sets of shocks and struts were in good condition. Bottom line, do not patronize these crooks under any circumstances. You will be sorry and broker if you do.
