My tire light came on, indicating I needed air. I broke 3 ribs and did not feel like getting out and doing it. I stopped in here and asked how much they charge to put air in my tires and I explained why I needed help. The manager told me that there was not a charge and that they would be happy to help. I have gone here over the past 6-7 years for oil changes. Always had pretty good experiences which kept me coming back. Today was NOT so good. First off I had a 25 dollar off coupon. I always do. I paid for a full synthetic oil change which was 106 dollars. I didn't want or need ANY other services. I gave Markell ( supposedly one of the managers) my coupon and he was happy to take it but still ended up charging me 107.19- I asked him where my 25 dollar coupon came in and he must of thought I was completely stupid or whatever- listening to him and his bullcrap which MADE NO SENSE AT ALL! I was told that my service was 106 dollars and didn't agree or ask for ANYTHING else. This guy had more bs coming out of his mouth and is a COMPLETE FRAUD- I knew this just by listening to him talk... I was so angry I just drove off but the more I think about it- THE MORE PISSED I GET!!! I tried to call the Vavoline store because I was going to have him try to play me again! There IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I AM GOING TO LET THIS CON ARTIST GET AWAY WITH THIS! I AM telling you to stay far away from these places... especially this store- EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE GONE HERE THERE ARE NEW FACES- usually legit guys. I Stopped in this morning for an oil change. I had 2 coupons for $20 off and a 20 % off coupon. All current however they weren't able to get any of them to scan. Also, I don't recall them checking my tire pressure, the windshield wiper fluid and they didn't reset the oil service light . Not really bother by this but the discount would have been nice . I have spoken to 2 of their managers, and still, they are not willing to admit they ruined the engine of a customer's new Honda. They want the filter to examine at their lab. Why... so they can again claim zero responsibility? Honda dealership says its not in the filter, its up in the engine! I wasn't upset it happened. Mistakes happen. But to disclaim any responsibility? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out something was done wrong. I have been forced to hire an attorney. Be warned! What will happen if something goes wrong on your oil change? I do not usually pay to have my oil changed unless I need the convenience of it; I routinely change my own vehicle's oil. Just these last two changes, one in May at another location and here in June I had the basic oil service for each. These guys are friendly and go through their checklist. At another Valvoline franchise location in May the receipt showed that the other franchise shortcut this basic service (Document Photos Attached, I have the receipts). The receipt for the basic service at this location either had extra service performed or they just did not shortcut me on the job. Either way, I was pleased that the service was performed well. I would trust that if my wife brought the car in for service that she would get what she paid for. read more

Used to love this place for quick, easy service however it's suddenly $120 for an oil change?! The dealer charges $80 and that includes balancing the tires which Valvoline doesn't include. Sadly will not be back ever again and will go to the dealer. Wish I read the other review of the woman who had her brand new car ruined by them, I probably would have stopped going then. I'll preface this review with the reality that I needed an oil change on a Sunday and my usual shop is not open on Sundays. The simple fact they were open on a Sunday was nice, and I appreciate that. When you arrive it's basically a drive thru oil change service. Meaning you can stay in your car while they change your oil, check fluids etc. However it's Florida, and hot and humid and I didn't want to leave my car running wasting fuel etc to run the AC. I elected to go into the tiny waiting room that was nice and cool with a decent variety of magazines to pass the time. They present you with oil options, basic, higher mileage with detergents and such as well as a third premium option, with associated escalating prices for each option. My car was ready in about 10 minutes after it got into the service bay. Kudos for the speed and efficiency. They checked fluids, tire pressure, etc and provide the findings on a piece of paper as you check out. Nice to have as they show what might need to be looked at, the frequency of that service and it's cost. The technicians were friendly and efficient. The price was ok, but I was a little dismayed that they don't rotate tires with the oil change as my normal shop includes that in the oil change. They scammed my college daughter out of a battery that she did not need for her car, went in for a oil change and they told her her battery was leaking and she needed a new one. Charged her 209.99 plus labor to put in new battery, Guess they taught her a lesson that she should call someone trust worthy before paying for items. INCOMPETENT....... Had oil changed on our '17 Honda Civic before leaving on a family vacation. 20 minutes down the highway we heard the metal splash pan dragging the ground due to not being reinstalled properly and missing majority of the hardware that holds it. Nothing like laying on the ground, on the side of the road, trying to remedy the issue caused by Valvoline. Contacted corporate Valvoline about the issue & got a return phone call the day after from the local store manager. I was told "we'll order the parts and call you when they're here". Here we are a week later, I stop by to pick up my parts & am told "they're on order". The Honda dealer 10 minutes away has them in stock, I called last week to verify. So the "they're in order" claim is a flat lie. I guess it's time to get our attorney involved & spread the word to EVERYONE I know to avoid this place. read more

Halfway through oil change, I was told they lost a socket to be able to change out my oil filter. I was told they would go to a hardware store and get a socket. They said they couldn't find the socket at a store and after 45 minutes of waiting told me the manager would bring one by the store later that day and give me a call. This place is a rip off!!! They charged me $114 for a synthetic oil change in my Jetta. The only reason I paid it was because they were open on Sunday. I have 186,000 miles on my car and have had a lot of oil changes and usually pay between $75 and $80. After paying this exorbitant amount of money they promptly stuck a sticker in my window indicating I would need another oil change in 3,000 miles. Give me a break!! Is this the 1980's?!? Synthetic oil lasts at LEAST 7,500-10,000 miles. They are creating unnecessary waste oil and ripping off consumers. Will NEVER return to these or any other chain oil change places. read more
