My first experience at this salon was excellent. Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. I scheduled a 12:00 PM appointment a month and a half in advance. When I arrived, I was informed that my appointment was supposedly at 10:00 AM--which is unequivocally incorrect. At no point did the salon confirm this appointment with me, nor did anyone contact me when I was marked as a 'no‑show' at 10:00. I was then told they could accommodate either a haircut or a color, but not both. As I had an event later that evening, this was not a viable option. The entire purpose of booking the appointment was to receive both services. Prior to posting this review, I attempted to resolve the issue directly with the owner. She responded by stating that 'Megan said she spoke with you on a Saturday and booked a 10:00 AM color/retouch and a 12:00 PM haircut.' This is simply false. Megan is my usual stylist, but she did not schedule this appointment. Another staff member answered the call, and I had to explain in detail what I needed so she could take notes for Megan. The owner then 'apologized that I missed my appointment,' which was both inaccurate and dismissive. I did not miss my appointment. The salon made an error and has taken no responsibility for it. To have the owner try to gaslight me into thinking this was my fault is going too far. I can't give my hard earned money to an establishment that would think it is ok to do that to anyone. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially given my previously positive visit. I thought I found salon with a stylist that finally got my hair right. Even though the stylist was great the first time, the treatment the second time and the treatment to me by the owner is unacceptable. I guess the search is back on for another salon. read more

great experience! I came in for a haircut and used a Groupon. They accommodated my request for a sams day appointment. Lisa who washed my hair and Colleen who cut it were both lovely and super friendly. Colleen listened to what I wanted even though I was pretty vague and didn't cut past where I wanted which happens with a lot of hair dressers. Would definitely come back to them again. One note, I paid $5 extra after the groupon due to long hair - didn't bother me, but might bother other people. read more

Went in to have my haircut fixed from a hairdresser from another salon with worry that my hair would need to be cut short. Denise fixed my hair with out needing to go short. I loved my cut, going back in June to have her do my highlights which by the way were also messed up from the previous salon . I couldn't give it 5 stars just yet, waiting to see how my highlights come out. read more

I'm so sorry to even write this but I'm not coming here again. This place is not meant for people of color, even the slightest bit of color cause I'm only half black. They don't know how to style or handle textured hair. At all. My hair is unbelievably puffy leaving the salon and had the nerve to charge 110$ for a glaze and a root touch up and a half assed blow out. I have thick curly hair but if you're not used to doing a certain kind of hair, that should be said, instead of trying to act Ike you did a great job. I wish I wouldn't even have wasted my time and my money cause I had to go home and basically do everything over myself. read more

Myself and daughters first time here. Very knowledgeable about color and cut with much time taken out to make you feel comfortable. Which I loved! My daughter had Denise, she really liked her and the way she cut. I had Ashley. She's GREAT too. Did a great job on my color which many cannot get right. No skill, extremely unprofessional, and so rude to customers. I made an appointment for three people and I was told that two would go first and the third would be completed directly afterwards so I entered the salon with just one sister for our 12:30 appointment five minutes beforehand (and my other sister - the third appointment was going to come in when we were almost done). One lady who was sitting at the front desk took me first and told me that there would be an extra charge (even though I called to make sure the groupon would be honored in the store beforehand) but I just agreed. The blowout was TERRIBLE. I do not think she knew how to use a brush. SAVE yourself and do not come here!!! I could have done a better job. I was so sad because I had somewhere to go and my hair looked like a fluff ball! I asked her to smoothen it out a bit and she still didn't. Instead, she put oil on my hair, making it look even worse. All while that was happening, my sister was still waiting. Another person came in around 30 min after us and the owner took her instead of my sister who was patiently waiting (30 min after our appointment). So this is when I spoke up. I asked in a calm manner if they could take my sister since I was already done and we were supposed to go together at 12:30 and we had somewhere to go - but I did say that I do not want the lady who did my hair to do my sister's since she did a terrible job. The owner basically said she did not care and that we should not have made an appointment the day of our plans... She was extremely ill-mannered and unprofessional. I wanted to walk out right then and there but we had somewhere to go and I knew my sister desperately needed her hair done so I ended up waiting for my sister for an additional 40ish minutes for the owner's daughter to do my sister's hair even though we were supposed to be done at the same time. I quickly texted my other sister (who had the third appointment) to not come because of the low quality of care. The owner, her daughter, and the other worker again, spoke very rudely on our way out - my sister and I were surprised. I never wrote a review before but I thought it was VERY necessary to let you all know that it is not worth coming to this salon filled with disgustingly rude and lazy people who do not know how to do hair (DO NOT LET THE PRICES FOOL YOU). read more

I had an appointment for two people with different hairstylists. We arrived promptly and they took one of us right away but I was told to wait, which I was fine doing at first. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes despite the fact that I had an appointment and in addition to that, a lady walked in after us and she was taken before me because "she had an appointment," even though I also had an appointment. The lady who worked on my friend did a very bad job with her blow dry. As I was waiting I saw the kind of technique she was using and let me tell you- I wouldn't call that a technique. She basically just air dried her hair and as a result it looked frizzy and puffy. After seeing that blow dry done on her- I knew I needed to be seen by some other employee. When I requested to get my hair done by someone else the salon owner gave me a very hard time. She was blaming me, talking back and just overall extremely unprofessional. She had no sense of customer service and honestly I don't know how she runs a business without putting her clients first. I definitely got a sense of laziness and unprofessionalism throughout my entire experience. From making me wait 30+ minutes when I had an appointment, to speaking to me and my friend rudely and to Upcharging us in the end because of our hair type. All in all, I would not recommend this hair salon, though they may have decent prices the quality of the service is not worth it! I hope this helps you. read more
