Rae (the owner) is both personable and professional. She truly knows her craft. When I first walked in, I was feeling down about my hair changes due to my health, and Rae didn't just give me a hair consultation, she gave me a safe space to vent and feel heard. It was like talking to a sister who just happened to be a hair expert. Rae was so thoughtful, giving me great advice on what would and wouldn't work for my hair in my situation, and suggesting alternatives that made me feel confident again. It was a blend of a consultation and a much needed mini-therapy session. You just don't get that kind of warmth and genuine care everywhere. On top of that, my stylist Princess was equally amazing. She's professional, skilled, and just so easy to talk to. I LOVE her personality! She explained every step, listened to my preferences, and made me feel like I'd known her forever. The whole salon atmosphere is welcoming, calm, and so comfortable. It's a beautiful well lit salon with a zen like atmosphere. Even the hair washing bowls and chairs are designed in a way that put my mom at ease, which is a HUGE DEAL for us. At 84, she's particular about comfort now that's she's dealing with a spinal issue. The day that I had my hair done, Princess brought her to the sinks so she could test out whether or not she would be able to withstand the hair washing/ rinsing process. She left that day feeling hopeful. She had her hair relaxed today and she left feeling absolutely pleased and pain-free.
