Atlas Orthogonal and Dr. Webb "adjusted" what I thought was possible with chiropractic care. She is an insightful and caring doctor and has managed to do in just a under 2 months what no chiropractor or back specialist was able to do in years. Seriously, I now take a half a day off of work in Olympia (yes, I work in Olympia!) to drive up to see Dr. Webb (now) in Seattle. I have been a patient of her's since she started to practice in Washington. Prior to Dr. Webb, I would get severe spring colds that would knock me out of commission for at least 3 days. 4 years later, I have yet to have one again. When I am in severe pain, my atlas is out or even if my muscles just hurt, I see Dr. Webb and it is like a Clariton commercial. I walk in fuzzy, unfocused and tense. An adjustment here, several clicks here and literally, you can see me "sharpen", the relief is instantaneous. I am amazed at the relief every time, even after 4 years of care. She takes care of not just my spine, but she takes care of *ME*. From my joints, my muscles, even my sinuses! Today I was a mess. I mean a REAL mess, from my head, to my shoulders, to my elbows, my spine, my hips.. it was ugly. To add to it, I had a severe ear infection. After the magic of AO and the activator, I asked her about the ear. She informed me that the AO adjustment would actually help getting the ear on track for healing. Not even 30 minutes after leaving her office (for a 2 1/2 drive home mind you!), I could feel something changing in my ear. I could hear more, sounds were sharper. I have degenerative disc disease and have used a cane or a walker for several years. I had a lot of pain for years and had physical therapy and cortisone injections several times which did not reduce my pain. I went to Dr. Marc for an adjustment to see if that would help since my pain level was around 8. After a consultation and adjustment he told me about a therapy called decompression therapy. I made an appointment for this therapy and after several appointments I felt a definite change. I saw him once or twice a month and eventually stopped using my cane. Got invited to a "workshop" about Rotator cuff issues/shoulder issues. So I signed up and attended. What an absolute waste of time. Yes only two people showed up but I got the impression we were going to dig into shoulder issues, contributing issues, talk about alternative therapies, maybe talk about some exercises etc. . Nope turned out to be basically "hey this is what we do as naturopaths or chiroprators, sports therapy ... Maybe if more people showed up would have been more of a discussion and less of a fishing expedition on their side.. but was done in less than 15 minutes... so not a lot of waste of time but will be hard pressed to consider them for that alone. I should have guessed so shame on me but they were attentive in their follow up about being there.. just had nothing to say...
