I started going to Dr. Marc VanDriessche at his business Beverly Park Chiropractic. I knew the…read moreDoctor because he worked with my grandsons when they played football and wrestled in Junior High and High School. I have degenerative disc disease and have used a cane or a walker for several years. I had a lot of pain for years and had physical therapy and cortisone injections several times which did not reduce my pain. I went to Dr. Marc for an adjustment to see if that would help since my pain level was around 8. After a consultation and adjustment he told me about a therapy called decompression therapy. I made an appointment for this therapy and after several appointments I felt a definite change. I saw him once or twice a month and eventually stopped using my cane. The pain stopped and I was feeling great for the first time in years. I love Dr. Marc and he has made my life 100% better. Thank you Doc. Susan K

Dr. Marc is also certified in chiropractic care for animals. When my son rescued a senior dog with severe back problems, I took her to Dr. Marc to see if he could help. Her hips were about halfway to the floor, and her first adjustment moved them up a good two inches! She was so happy that she started running. After that, she would run to the door and bark whenever I told her she was going to see Dr. Marc. He really improved her quality of life in her golden years.

It's been 3 years since I came to Eden Clinic for the first time, and I still come here every other…read moreweek since day one for maintaining good postures. All chiropractor doctors (both Everett & Lynnwood Clinic) are very knowledgable!!! No kidding. I still remember when I came for the first time with so many issues, like: had numbness & tingling on my left leg (10 years+ problem before I came to Eden), went through pain on my left foot whenever I walked every.single.day, and some other things. All doctors helped me, mostly, I meet with Dr. Jo for my appointments. He's not only fix my body, but he also educated me on many things about how to take care of myself and prevent mistakes ~ like: stretching, how to maintain good postures, what shoes to wear, etc. Thank you Dr. Jo :) I can say 90% my issues have gone. The rest 10% happens when I didn't do what I supposed to do. Lol. I'm sorry. I always on my feet 10+ hrs a day and I like wearing heel shoes. Oops... (hey...I cut the frequency & the heel height by so much already). The front desk, Anastasia and Alona have been always the nicest ladies to me. Kind & always smiling. Cynthia (Lynnwood location) seems like the engineer behind the counter, smart lady. They are all pretty proactive in contacting me if certain day/time is available for me. All massage therapists are pretty good, but I have my favorite. Sorry, I won't share the name, since it's pretty hard to get this person already (based on my availability). Ha! Thank you Eden.

I called to make an appointment, and the woman I spoke with confirmed that I had Kaiser Insurance and said they do accept it. But then I was told that I could only make an appointment if wanted massage therapy AND chiropractic care AND acupuncture. I explained I didn't need or want all three, and only wanted massage therapy. They insisted that I couldn't be seen for just that and I had to do all three, and said, "I don't really know how to explain it..." I asked to speak to someone else, and when the same person came back on the line, she then said they didn't take Kaiser insurance. Something feels scammy and smells fishy to me about this whole interaction and company. No thanks.

Unfortunately, I was not made aware of the additional charge only asked to complete some paperwork on how I was feeling. When I called to ask why I was charged an additional $170.00 for the office visit I was told it was because my insurance company required them to check in on how my treatment was going. I have been going for maintenance purposes. I did call my insurance company and was told that this was a false statement that they do not require this. I tried to speak with the office manager again and never received a call back. Unless you want to be charged for services every 4 months that don't amount to $170.00 worth of treatment I would avoid going to Vida.

Those two stars go to that victory, Lynn at the front desk, and the massage therapists. I am a good example of a person falling through the cracks when it comes to the assembly line at Hanson's. Basically, they hand you a letter and you wait for your turn for 1 of 3 chiropractors, no guarantee which one you may get will be adjusting you. They will look at your chart, read notes and record, but the care is dispersed between all the doctors. Why did I fall through the cracks? Because I have scoliosis and someone didn't realize there was a pattern that they need to do light adjustments on my back when I'm in pain. As the patient, I have full trust in my doctor/s and trust that they know what is best. The regular adjustments on my back caused my lower spine to become irritated with the addition of working in healthcare. It was not malpractice nor a work injury, but the combination of the two. I ended up with a spinal disc injury, which they failed to even tell me/diagnose me with. I have not been at work for almost 3 weeks because of this and I faced losing my job. I'm still in pain and struggle to do daily activities. So, yes, I'm very frustrated and I prefer seeing only ONE chiropractor at a time because the care is 100% and one person is able to focus all their attention on you. Not just for 5 minutes for $58. I'm sad because I really liked all my doctors, but when I brought this issue up and tried to be vulnerable, I was gaslighted and told that they did nothing wrong and that I was not going to receive any resolution other than to keep coming back. I just hope that I can avoid this from happening to someone else because I suffered so much. I ended up going to another chiropractor and spent over $700 to help me fix my spine.
