Cumberland has been taken over and is now called Everclean laundry. The main store front is in…read moreshambles, but if you pop around to the side of the building there is a sign on the door. They are open daily from 6am-10pm. The pros: Cheap: $2.50 for wash and $.25 for 12 minutes of dry; detergent $1.25 each New owners are working very quickly to get everything fully operational- they're trying New owners are nice and friendly Owners onsite so if a machine eats your quarters they'll reimburse you. Or if a machine won't accept coins, they'll fiddle with the machine and get it operation. The point is- if you pay for laundry they won't screw you over. Cons: The place is still very much "under construction" (see photos). Feels like there could be a potentially hazardous situation. The first time I came in they were laying flooring. No AC- it's hot and kind of smells like some kind of fluid. Many broken machines, vending machines not operational and no Wi-Fi. Kinda feels like you need to take a bath in anti-bacterial sanitizer when you leave to get the funk off. The good news is they are in the Planet Fitness strip mall, so if you're ok with a hole-in-the-wall laundromat where you can get your laundry done while you go workout then it's a win. I'm hoping that once they are fully settled in that things will improve and I'd be happy to do an updated review then.

The machines here are well maintained and do work for the most part. When a dryer does not work…read moresomeone does cover the coin slot so you will not lose your money. From time to time the place shows obvious signs of heavy traffic having come thru so many people come here. The men's room has been out-of-order for many months with only the women's restroom open. The one working bathroom is often is pretty rough shape and needing to be cleaned and restocked. The bathroom issue is the one eyesore that remains to be dealt with properly. Standing water and a slight stench is typical here. Several folding tables are here to use for people to fold their dried laundry on without to much worry for them being dirty. I have not ever lost any money here due to machines not working and still taking money, the coin slot gets covered once someone knows it does not work properly. It pays to look inside your dryer of choice for ink pens etc. that have been left inside a pocket. I lost a few nice knit shirts to ink stains from a disposable ink pen left behind in my dryer. This laundry mat is attended by the owner/manager during business hours.

The Blazer I took in came back a complete disaster! The outside was completely covered in cat hair,…read more(granted, from my cats, but I expected it to lint rolled - ya know, at least give the impression of being clean, but I could get over that). Though it is my expectation that when I take a suit in to be cleaned, (a women's 4 petite, $40 for the blazer, 2 pair of pants and one plain oxford, (on clearance at JCP all for right at $100), and from other cleaners, the norm, to pull a suit out of a bag and wear it to a meeting the next day without a worry. It's a huge disappointment to think you have a clean suit to discover this shoddy work - which could not have gone unnoticed: the lining to that blazer is, well wrinkled would be such an understatement as to not do this just justice! There are such large overlapping folds in the back that the pin strips in the lining look more like an M.C. Escher painting and protrude so far that that the blazer won't lay flat, (as horrible as it was, I was going to try it in an emergent situation, but went with something a little more casual and a lot less warm! As I am almost certain I they send there clothes out to be cleaned - or, at least the last 2 times I went to pick something up there was only one woman in the store sitting on a couch reading. Who, by the way, told me, regardless what my semi-formal dress said, there was no such thing as spot dry cleaning, (per tag required on the one white strip of material on a black dress), but "to just leave it and they'd figure something out". I did not, and will never again. I STRONGLY suggest you go anywhere but here!!! *Fingers crossed your reviews will leave me in better hands this time.* Thanks and good luck!

I do Medieval reenactments, and all of my clothes are custom made. I took my clothing to be dry,…read morecleaned and pressed. They lost one of the straps to a hand-sewn Viking dress, and several of the buttons from two my sleeves. Each sleeve has 16 buttons; each one of them are hand cast pewter - they lost several of those, too. When I called to talk to them about it after the initial person put down the phone, I could hear them talking in the background and laughing and saying I was one of the "let me talk to the manager" kinds of people. On the contrary, I was being exceptionally polite, considering that these garments were meticulously researched, and all of them hand sewn. I was simply asking if they could look for the things that they lost. I met with a snotty attitude and no return phone calls. I seriously doubt they spent one minute looking for anything. Now I'm going to have to pay to replace the trim around the tops and bottom hemlines of my Viking dresses, and buy and re-sew 32 new hand-cast pewter buttons (the others are out of circulation, so it's going to have to be a new design) on the sleeves of 14th century French dress, because they were careless and too lazy to be bothered by a customer's request that they try to help fix what they screwed up. I'll never go back.
