It showed they understand the struggles people go through that lead to teeth issues. They could've probably easily told me dentures, but they didn't. They took their time fixing each tooth, they were always kind throughout, and I am so thankful for all they do and have done. I've noticed some even now with use a numbing gel and then the numbing agent which is nice. I have a high pain tolerance but still, a little less pain in this world ain't so bad! I definitely have had moments when my disorder has acted up there, but they kinda seem understanding of it. They'll give me a second when I'm anxious. They let me pause. They fight insurance for coverage. Now I'm finally making more and will be moving insurance, and be able to afford treatments outside what the government allows, which makes me even more grateful because i know they know what they're doing. I tried calling the emergency number provided on my discharge paperwork over the holiday weekend, but no one answered, and my email went completely unacknowledged. When I finally reached the office on Tuesday, I was told it must have been a "mistake" and that the doctor was referring to antibiotics prescribed weeks prior. When I asked for further clarification about why the doctor explicitly told me to take them post-surgery, the receptionist just chuckled and brushed it off. I am now 9 days post-op, in severe pain radiating to my ear, and having to seek care elsewhere for a likely dry socket/infection because this office completely dismissed my concerns. My teeth are very strong and I never have bloody gums or any other issues. I brush twice a day and floss every night before bed. My first visit, they took about a hundred x-rays (excessive), and the dentist did an exam, explained to me she was going to do a cleaning. She then went over the cost of different options and I told her I just wanted a cleaning because that's what my insurance would cover. She did the cleaning and they wanted me to come in a MONTH later for another cleaning (which my insurance doesn't cover). I told them I wouldn't be doing that. I then received a bill in the mail for $120. When calling to complain, they told me they didn't submit it to my insurance. So if I hand't called to complain, I would've been out $120. 6 months later, they called to tell me I was due for my 6 month cleaning (which my insurance covers), so I moved forward with scheduling the appointment. After receiving the date of the appointment I verbally confirmed I was just going to receive a basic cleaning. Lisa then told me a list of things the doctor would need to do. I explained that going to the dentist often feels like going to purchase a used car. All the add-ons and upsells are ridiculous. She interrupted me while I was speaking to further justify the services she previously listed. I waited until she finished and she asked me if I wanted to keep the appointment. I told her to just cancel it and as I was explaining why, she began talking over me and then hung up on me. Real great customer service - NOT. Dealing with a snotty receptionist whilst trying to get a dental appointment is not great service. Nice modern office, but don't charge your customers for unnecessary procedures just to subsidize your decor. And maybe don't put snotty people on your phones when dealing with patients.

While the office is professional on the surface, my experience overall was extremely frustrating and costly. After my permanent crowns were placed, I developed persistent sensitivity in my right front tooth (cold and hot) that did not improve over time. I also felt a noticeable ledge/step on the back side of the crown near the gumline, which made me concerned about the fit/contour. Aesthetically, the crowns also looked longer and bulkier than expected with heavier incisal edges than what I was aiming for. When I tried to address these concerns, I was advised to pay for additional diagnostics (a wax diagnostic). After I paid for it, the office later terminated the patient-provider relationship instead of completing the planned corrections. What made the situation especially difficult was the refund process: the office confirmed in writing the refund amounts, but repeatedly stated the refund would only be processed if I signed a broad "release/indemnification" agreement exactly as written. The agreement was extremely one-sided. It went far beyond acknowledging a refund and included sweeping waivers and protections for the office, along with a "non-disparagement/online statements" section that, in my view, would discourage patients from speaking openly online about their experience. I was not comfortable signing something like that just to receive an agreed refund. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed by how concerns were handled. The communication and resolution process felt dismissive and, at times, misleading - more focused on protecting the office than responsibly addressing the problem. My takeaway is that the approach felt money-driven, and I left feeling I couldn't trust the process. I would encourage anyone considering treatment here to do thorough due diligence and not rely solely on online ratings.

It's a downtown office and downtown workers obviously use them and can't be away from work for hours on end because a dentist doesn't keep appointment times.) This place has zero respect for patients' time, but theirs is SO important that I received NUMEROUS texts in the days leading up to my appointment. "...you have an appointment reserved with Atlas Dental Specialists on Wed, Oct 1st at 10:20 AM." And ".."please respond with C to confirm your appointment with Atlas Dental Specialists for October 1st at 10:20 am. If your appt is missed, or cancelled / rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, a fee of $50/hour of appt time will apply." So obviously THEIR time is important. Just not their patients' time. Also, every appointment is "separate." Cleaning is one. Examination is another. It's all about money money money with this place. They did refund my $25 deposit though. Terrible place. After a hiatus of not trying anymore, I decided to give Dr Morrow a chance. My first visit, his only concern was to fix the tooth I came in for. Unlike previous dentist, he did not berate me or spend 20 minutes explaining how this is all my fault. NO. NONE OF THAT. He treated me like a long time patient and completely fixed the tooth in one visit. Furthermore, I've been back several times now and have begun a long journey to repairing what's left of my teeth, and this is the only place I'd ever recommend. ****MOST IMPORTANTLY**** With insurance, my patient cost is far more reasonable than I had anticipated, and they accept Care Credit which makes it easier for the big jobs. Now here's the part that shocks me; recently I had 2 root canals, post (a screw inserted into the remaining tooth) and crowns put in side by side. It took an hour and I had absolutely NO PAIN or discomfort! Listen, I left the office and went straight to DQ for lunch. Not so much as an Advil was needed in the hours or even days after. ZERO PAIN. It's also worth noting that he does everything possible to save a tooth rather than replace it. I would have sworn the 4 teeth he overhauled, were beyond saving and would need implants. He's fantastic.
