After paying almost $1,000 of my part, they are now asking for another $581.00. This is after they filed on my dental insurance and received payment from them as well. The insurance company told me that they were not in-network so was paid out of network rates, This was only 1 crown. I'm very disappointed that they did not stand up to what they told me my portion would be. I was so excited about having a dentist in network in Brandon, MS. I would not recommend anyone to their office.

Sometimes you have to wear a crown for a day or so in order to tell whether the fit needs adjusting. The staff have always been good about getting me or my family in to see the dentist quickly when I need to be seen for urgent or out of the ordinary issues. Every dentist who has treated me or my family and performed procedures such as extractions have always called to check on us and addressed any issue or questions that have arisen. They have always been kind and provide several financial options to make care more affordable.

I'm currently getting a post in the place of a tiny filling that they destroyed my tooth in the process of doing. The other two teeth had to be crowned and have all had very bad problems and I was told by new dentist that they were done with very old procedures and who knows what they used for the fillings but they have all gone bad... The question now is if I ever even had the 3 cavities at all, or did they intentionally use bad filling material so that I require further dental care from them??? Or are they just plain bad? Worst dental office ever and not to mention the very loud young man that was screaming profanities between the other workers as soon as the dentist stepped outside.!! I came in for a routine dental cleaning on 10/12/2024 and was told I needed some work done. However, Dr. Alford did not explain any additional issues or treatments that might be necessary. I trusted her to address only the immediate repairs. During a follow-up appointment on 11/13, I had work done on teeth 2, 14, 15, and the crown on tooth 30. Dr. Alford mentioned a possible root canal for tooth 14, which I later had on 11/20. Despite this, I continued to experience pain in teeth 2 and 15. After seeking a second opinion from another dentist, I learned both teeth were cracked and required crowns. I ended up having four crowns and a root canal, all stemming from what began as a simple check-up. What frustrates me most is that nothing was mentioned about the cracked teeth during any of my appointments, and I was left in pain for months. When I called Mitchell Dental Clinic to discuss a refund, I was told I hadn't been there since 2020, though I have a ledger showing otherwise. I also had a gap in visits due to COVID but returned as soon as dental offices reopened. Dr. Alford cracked two of my teeth and refuses to take responsibility or offer a refund. Now, I'm forced to pursue legal action. I want to warn others because, after researching, I found this to be a recurring issue at this office. This has been a very frustrating and costly experience.
