This gym is super well equipped--4 deadlift platforms, multiple squat racks, GHD, hip thrust machine, belt squat. Lots of toys to choose from. It's a no frills kind of place, but it's CLEAN and super friendly. I wish I could transport it home with me!

Even when it's "slow" it's hard to get on the equipment. The locker rooms can have a little more attention to detail with cleaning. But my biggest peeve is the circuit section. Don't plan on doing the 30 minute circuit without a lot of interruptions from people just sitting on the machines and doing their usual workout because they want to be more secluded. It's so frustrating and when you're trying to get a good HIIT workout in they're in the way. There's no consideration or respect and certainly non-enforcement.

The two facilities constantly work together to provide top level fitness options for all ages, physical abilities, and needs. I can't say enough great things about Crossfit 696. The monthly fee is more than reasonable for the area and compared to other boxes. Another annoying occurrence is that it takes weeks/if not months for something to be fixed (example the sensors in the sauna) There is a group of older gentlemen who continuously talk about the saunas/stream baths in their original country of origin. They continuously mess around with the heat sensors at the YMCA claiming the sauna here isn't "hot enough" as it is in their country of origin. They in turn mess up the sauna and put it out of commission for weeks/if not months.
