Work started on schedule and finished on schedule. Throughout the job, Andriy was responsive, transparent, and patient with my questions and discussions. His crews were professional, diligent, meticulous, efficient, and courteous. Good people to work with. There was no damage from moving materials out and in. They left everything very clean at the end of the job. The workmanship was of top-notch quality. All alignments were straight and square, all seams matched, the whole deck is level, and attention to details is obvious. They were also flexible in making minor adjustments to the original plan once demolition revealed that some adjustments are needed. The end result is beautiful, at a reasonable cost. We were looking to resurface our brownstone deck and bid it out to a couple of Trex installers. Vandeck builders had a reasonable price compared to the others and had a higher rating from Trex. Andrey immediately responded with a written proposal, and we worked out a timeframe that was acceptable to the both of us. My wife is an interior designer and I am a retired architect. Andrey's men knew their craft and it was one of the few times that I sat back and did not need to supervise a contractor. Their craftmanship is impeccable! As other reviewers have noted they were prompt, courteous, and cleaned up each day. The project started and ended as Andrey promised it would and Andrey was always available. The one extra was due to unforeseen conditions when the demo was finished and did not affect the project, timeline or completion date.
