On May 14, 2021 we took our John Deere tractor to Dave's for repair. It was running for about half…read moreand hour and then shutting off. Dave's said it was an ignition problem, and the part would be $750. The tractor isn't any good to me broken, so I said go ahead and fix it. The parts were installed and the tractor was still shutting off, same as before. He said it was a fuel system problem and that the carb needed work. I again said the tractor isn't good broken, go ahead and fix it. $970.42 later, and the tractor is still doing the EXACT SAME THING it was before I took it in. They sent me home with the tractor and a huge bill for parts and labor that it did not need. Discussed this fact with them and they DID NOT CARE THAT THEY CHARGED ME A GRAND AND THE TRACTOR STILL WON'T WORK. Tried to ask them to work with me, and they refused. Therefore, be warned... if you take your equipment to them you could very well end up in the same boat I am. $1000 out of my pocket and having to take the tractor to someone else to fix.

This was not an easy task, but they certainly knew what they were doing. They carefully removed 3 sidewalk blocks, then replaced them perfectly. They backfilled the area, and preformed yard restoration with seed and straw. All of our neighbors were beyond impressed! The workers were knowledgeable and very polite. We had contacted two other contractors regarding this job, both estimates were higher than Bodek. I asked our landscaper who he'd recommend and he stated, "If you want it done right, go with Bodek!" The office sent out a young gentleman named Pat, who diagnosed the problem, got the proper parts to fix the toilet from his truck, and completed the job in a short time period. He cleaned up the area he worked on and made sure everything worked perfectly before he left. The charge for the visit, the parts and the labor was quite reasonable. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and said they would call when repairs were completed. When called a week or so later, I picked up my cleaner and was told the problem was with the cord... that it had been fixed and a new filter had also been installed. The cost was around $200. I didn't have a problem with that, all things considered. When I got home and plugged the vacuum in, it ran for about five minutes, then quit, so I returned to A to Z to see what was going on. Left the machine for a second time, they called in a few days and said the problem had been resolved and that there would be no charge this time around. Picked up the cleaner, got home, plugged it in, and this time it ran for about a minute before it quit. I was so frustrated with this experience, I decided to just give up on them as a repair service. I did not take the cleaner back. They are great when it comes to selling a wonderful product, but repairs do not seem to be their specialty. After searching elsewhere for a repair service, I found none. This past week, the cleaner was disposed of as recyclable. What a shame. I am so disappointed with A to Z. I will not be a returning customer.
