Headed here with the wife and granddaughter for a quick breakfast before errands, the establishment itself very nice looking very clean on the inside staff very nice and warm, I guess they have a system where you order at the table through your phone or come up to the front and order with the cashier, we opted to order by phone, this is where I get a little upset, order was placed and mind you, this place is not cheap by any account, at the end of the ordering process to ask me for gratuity of 18, 20 or 22% even before any services are rendered? What's that all about? I've been in the business for 44 years and I have chefs that work for me in a very professional setting and I find it offensive that I have to come up and pick up the drinks by name mind you as if I work for them! So I delivered my own drinks to my table 10 minutes later they call my name again I am the food runner now?! Run the food to my own table?! Did anyone of the employees come to check on the food quality? The answer is no that's a fail! This is complete BS! If you're asking for a gratuity off 18, 20 or 22% you need to deliver service! I shouldn't be doing your job! On the good side where the 2 stars comes in the food was good however too expensive, $17 for waffles with whip cream strawberries really?! Five dollars for an ice tea? Local competition is charging $2.50 $3 at most! Oh, and good luck getting a refill I don't know if it's finding the right help lack of help however it's a stretch approach when you're asking your guests to run there own food and drinks. and then expect to be tipped on it! I definitely won't be back! And I might even challenge the owners of this establishment to come to my restaurant and let me do them what their doing that to their guests! Loved it from the moment I walked in. The ambiance was very nice. Loved all of the Bible verses throughout. Everything was very clean including the restroom. The servings were large, very nicely presented and delicious. I loved that they offer different options for coffee, creamers and flavors. Love, love, love this cute little place. So nice to have something like this in Saint Cloud. There's hope for my small town yet. They have a couple tables outside the store front. Inside there is a lounge area with a sofa, loveseat and coffee table, and some tables along the wall. It's a small cozy space but comfortable. Immediately you notice the case with all the yummy pastries. They have a large variety of drinks to choose from; regular espresso type drinks (hot or iced), tea, and specialty drinks. In addition they have breakfast sandwiches and croissants. I ordered two pastries, the guava-cheese pastry and the carrot cake, and a cinnamon latte to wash it down. I was immediately served the pastries and given a buzzer to notify me when my latte was ready. I found an empty table to sit at and set up my laptop while I waited for my latte. They have free Wi-Fi and the noise level is low, so it was a nice relaxing place to work while enjoying my coffee and sweets. Both of the pastries were yummy, fresh, moist and sweet, without being sickening sweet. The cinnamon late was made perfectly and toped off with a beautiful foam design. I look forward to going back many more times and trying some of their interesting specialty drinks and deserts. They also have carryout. I can see me ordering a box of pastries to take home early as a surprise for the family on weekend mornings. The only point for improvement I would make is the service. Everyone was very nice, but not very attentive to the patrons needs. It would go a long way if they greeted people when they entered, and engaged the customers more, even after serving them. My visit to Vanessa's coffee shop was so pleasant. I absolutely love the aesthetic and peacefulness of this coffee shop! Their food and drinks were really yummy as well! All of their food items are a great size for their price. I went with some friends for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and we had a great experience. It wasn't too crowded, there were enough staff, and we didn't wait too long for our meal. I ordered the avocado toast with an iced white chocolate mocha. The avocado toast was some of the best that I've had. You could taste the hint of lemon or lime that they added in every bite! My white chocolate mocha was really tasty. It wasn't too creamy or sugary which I really appreciated. One of my friends ordered the ham, egg, and cheese Mayorca! She has visited before so she was familiar with this dish. It's pretty big so keep that in mind if you order it. She was pleased with her Sandwich. For her drink she ordered the blackened strawberry lemonade which was so delicious! I ended up ordering one to go! My other friend ordered the avocado brunch with chicken. Just by the picture you can tell it's delicious! It's very filling and full of flavor. Came here today as soon as they opened. It was my first time, and I was pleasantly pleased with the atmosphere. They have beautiful decor and all the employees seem to love to be there. I rarely drink coffee and their coffee was splendid along with their lavender tea. Food was amazing and they actually serve a lot. Saint Cloud location, Today is Sunday 1/21/24 11:30am. Been here many times, mostly for special occasions or brunch and always served with great food and service. Today was the exception went to celebrate my wife's birthday with a brunch to start the day, first i ordered a latte with 2 meals. The latte came in a paper cup with no design and totally watery just awful. I went back and requested it to be in a ceramic cup with design, the young man wanted to help but the passive aggressive girl with the headband told him we cannot give them in a cup because we have no plates, did not even try to go in the back to see if there were any clean plates, he tried by saying it's her birthday and she said it does not matter we don't have plates. So I had to get in line and buy another coffee and request from the cashier to please put it in a ceramic cup with a design and serve it stronger, she actually looked the back and said no problem( all the while knowing I am paying for another coffee, $4+ plus sir, ok I pay whatever. The PA girl places the coffee and disappears as if I don't care, ok. Then we get out our orders which were wrong I ordered birthday sprinkles on her French toast and most likely paid extra for that and it did not have it, my wife says forget I will eat it that way. My pancake was basically white and raw, I ate what outside was cooked and threw out the rest. I did inform the cashier that the pancake was raw and that the service was awful, explained the whole scenario she went to talk to her manager which I believe was the PA girl that did not want to serve properly and the only she offered was we can give you a free pastry which I declined. I believe everybody has a bad day, but if this girl is running the show , this will keep happening and the Passive Aggressive (PA) attitude of take it or leave it will be it's ruin, they should have taken care of it from the start and not let it get to this review. We may return one day but if this is now the norm the business will suffer from terrible service. Response to the response, I think you completely missed the point and only gave an excuse. They could have easily made a new cup of coffee in a cup for her Birthday, which I went back in line and paid for another coffee to be in a cup. Nothing about the raw pancake, nothing about the lack of service, nothing about the botched birthday brunch, nothing about the lack of kindness and blunt response to a simple request, just an excuse. If this comes from the boss then that's how the employees will respond with just excuses and not accept responsibility. Incredible. Side note: I bet the person responding is the same PA girl that decided not to properly serve us, the fox is guarding the hen house. read more

I love the coffee here! Everytime I come to visit my family in St. Cloud I want the iced coffee here. The issue is the prices , so expensive $8 and change for a medium coffee. Saddens me that the prices are not just a little more reflective of normal coffee prices even with flavors. Just seems like she is $1 or $2 over on the prices, to be competitive especially with no drive thru she should at least be making it more enticing with prices to have repeat customers. Especially with the new Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts right now on each side of her. Just food for thought. But great menu! read more

YUMMY! So glad their sponsored post appeared on my instagram! I was driving through St. Cloud to get back home and figured I could go for a nice iced coffee. I was here quite early so there wasn't much of a wait to order. The employee who took my order recommended some of the popular items and I opted for the coquito iced coffee & the breakfast sandwich on Mallorca bread. I asked for my drink to be "dressed" up and for ham to be my protein on the sandwich. I sat at the high top table and didn't wait too long for my order. The inside is definitely a great spot for brunch and to study. I took a sip into the coffee and man... I tell you what! That is one of the best iced coffees I've ever had! The breakfast sandwich was pretty good but the coffee was the shining star. Take a mouthful of Nutella and coconut from the rim and a few sips of the delicious café and booom... match made in heaven. I was so happy to come here and enjoy my meal in silence. I raved about this place to a couple of people the same day and they ended up trying it out, too, but at the Narcoossee location. Came in for a Sunday brunch with friends, after an hour drive here.... What a disappointment. I ordered the Tripleta which was pretty good! Not authentic but was good. My wife and sister in law had the breakfast tacos carnitas (which was a chunky pork not actually carnitas) and steak. Both the tacos were actually decent BUT the meat was old and reheated. The kitchen manager came out to apologize and changed both entrees. The guava french toast and avocado blt were great. My wife and friends have had the pastrami sandwich before but they were sold out today. After the food being sent back due to the poor quality the front of the house staff kept staring at us and were rude when delivering the new entrees. Thanks for the good and thanks for the bad. Wont be back. Had a bite of the chips and salsa... the salsa was similar to a jar salsa from the grocery store. Blue berry lemonade just tasted like juice nothing special for $4 . Overall my advice to Vanessa as a consumer is price your food according to your quality. Your staff must be friendly to charge your prices. Coffees were both great pumpkin iced latte and the coquito. The kitchen manager notified us we couldn't get our money back for the tacos but we could change entrees which is fine but dont make us feel bad for returning food that was not good at all. Great location. A take from First Watch. The ordering was a bit confusing for first timers and out of towners. There was no signs instructing how to view the menu. My husband's egg sandwich was good. The avocado toast that I ordered with an added egg was another story. It was not anything that I was expecting. The egg that I added was two eggs and they were fried hard and cold when I asked for over medium. The bread was 2 slabs of bread each about an inch thick not toasted and so tough I could not cut it with the knife much less eat it and the bacon was just a bunch of bacon bits on top, I ended up eating the topping as a salad. Lovely ambiance and branding but not the place to come to if you are in a rush or want to spend max an hour to eat. We waited nearly an hour to eat our food and this is breakfast not dinner. The avocado toast was delicious buuuut the slices were way too tall. Difficult to eat. The crust of the bread was hard so not sure if it was stale. Decided to order a sandwich and a smoothie to go while eating breakfast and that took over 30min. The smoothie came out first but by the time the sandwich came the smoothie melted. At the end of it we were there for pretty much 2 hours. This place seems to have great potential but with the amount of staff that was visible it's clear they are inefficient and slow. No one came around the tables to tell anyone what to do with their dirty dishes or to clean the tables. You end up cleaning the them yourself. read more

The place is one of the best coffee shops I've been to. I love their breakfast menu, their pastries, the environment. However, service has declined significantly. They need more manpower for this location! They either need a bigger kitchen or more kitchen staff. They take too long taking the orders out. It's like the owners are more interested in keeping up with the Lake Nona location than their home location. I really hope they read these reviews. The service was poor, sarcastic at the time of asking to change the orange juice and the coconut flavor coffee that had a lot of cinnamon powder. One of the server tried to embarrass me in front of other people sitting there. While I get out of my home to have a nice time and I ended up having an uncomfortable dissatisfaction and disagree . This little shop is seriously good but some things have definitely changed since its renovation. I used to to come here a lot when I was in undergrad, I really loved getting their coconut matcha latte (frozen or cold, both are great). I used to come so much, before the renovation (3 years ago-ish) that they would know my order and start it the moment that I walked in the door! However, today, my dad and I came as I wanted to show him how great it is. We stood at the register for about 5-7 minutes, the worker didn't let us know that they may take a minute or two -- let alone EYE CONTACT. We seriously just stood there waiting while she was making customer's drinks without her mask on. It wasn't until she gave the drinks to the customer that she would put on her pink fabric mask. We left as it was apparent that she was not going to serve us. What a waste of time. read more

Hard to believe this cute & dainty coffee shop is in my hometown of St. Cloud. I watched this place get built as I live around the corner from it and followed it from the beginning of construction to now. They have an Instagram account and Facebook to keep up to date on any new specials and their new designs in their foamed/steamed milk cappuccinos. It is so beautifully decorated inside, very rustic look & elegant. It's a perfect spot to go to for a girls day out, place to do homework, and/or breakfast/dessert. It is very welcoming to everyone. We've ordered a variety of things from the menu, all the drinks we've had have been delicious. We haven't had the same luck with the pastries but it must just be our palette. I have friends who swear by their pastries - but everyone is different. Our top go to items are, Nutty Hot Chocolate, Waffles with Nutella drizzle, Vanilla milkshake, Cinnamon Roll Mocha & the white chocolate mocha. Prices are definitely comparable to other franchises, but at Vanessa's it's definitely quality that's the most important. Most prices range from $2-$4 for a variety of things on the menu. We typically come here at night and it's just for a dessert or a place to unwind after the crazy days we endure. You won't be disappointed. read more

My favorite coffee shop. When I was studying for my MLO license I'd drive all the way to lake Nona every day (40 minutes) to get a coconut matcha and to get some quiet time. The staff members are amazing and so happy they opened the st.cloud location again. The owners of the business are super friendly and Vanessa's story is inspiring. Prefer their coffee shop over any. Would've given a 5 star butttttt one of the baristas had an attitude, everyone's entitled to a bad day but allergies and food sensitivities should be taken seriously. Even if you "know" there isn't dairy, check to reassure the customer. I asked if one of the syrups has dairy and she immediately said no, I had to insist for her to check, she finally checked and it turned out it it had dairy. Edited: another mishap 2/12 ...slowly losing my business. Unfortunately some of the staff is careless. It doesn't have the same code as it did when it originally opened. Today I was shorted change AND given the wrong drink (I asked for frozen I got iced) and the same kid who couldn't even get my change right had the audacity to say in front of me "I was told iced." The drink was "remade" but it so clearly tasted like an iced drink poured into a blender to add more ice. I had to throw it away it was that nasty. It's a shame because I've been going to this spot since it first opened. The staff was friendly and everyone knew each other by name. So disappointed. read more
