Very honest and care for customer . I have replaced the AC air compressor last year oct 2017 and this year again it stopped working . when i reported , Denny is the manager told me Parts are cover for life time and labor is for 1 year that mean i dont have pay anything for it. i want to give this place a negative star, not enen 1 star. The owner 刘磊 is a big liar. He is not.a honest person. All he wants is $$$. My car did not.have big problem and I just want him to give out an estimate. But after he examed my car, he made the problem worst. He said alot things need to be done but this is not true and quoted me very high price than other shops. After i decided not to fix by him, he started to yelling and ask me to pay for checkup fee. I mean, in the beginning he did not mention there is cost to exam the problem and also he made more damage to my car which made the problem worst. My car is not drivable now because he wants me to leave the car and fix by him. He is doing bad tricks to steal $$ from the customer. I was referred by my church friend and i think as a christian, you need to be honest. But he is not!! read more

Very friendly and easy-going, pleasant to talk with, very reasonable, make me feel like at home. The kitty is cute :) 2. Technical Excellence. More than 30 years of professional experience, very knowledgeable, always trying to provide more information and details to let customer know what the real issue is and prioritize your fix. 3. Efficiency. He and his team always identify the root cause and find the deliver the fix not only on time, instead of unreasonably looooooog waiting time for other body shops. They also try their best to provide schedule flexibility for customers' benefits. 4. Trying to Save Money for Customer !!! Last but definitely the more important thing which every customer would care and worry. Danny impressed me with his integirty and sincerarirty to customer. My corolla shows engine light up, but went off automatically for no reason. after diagnosis, he recommend to wait to before replacing immediately ', unless it comes back again. To replace the sensor, that would cost hundreds of bucks. I would greatly appreciate his suggestion, feel like it is his own car ! An update: Awww, not the case any more. They acted so unreasonable last time and we quit going there. Sorry for the bad news... ------------------- We're satisfied customer - in two different cases, we had great experiences with this shop, which had to do with good communications, I guess. At the first time, I already got quotes from a few other shops who would fix the dents for a cost of 4 digit. I felt way too high than we wanted to pay for. It was frustrated until found this shop via yellow pages and called them up. Since we live at the other side of the bay, the owner suggested me to take photos and emailed to him to get estimated. He quoted us a very reasonable price and did a super job to makeover the car. On the top of that, he lent us a car to drive home! A couple of weeks ago, another car needed to be fixed. Again, we sent the shop some photos and got quoted a good price. And one more time, we became happy customer! Of course, he lent me a car during the time when they were working on our car - we feel like this shop is so reliable, affordable and friendly. They provide good serves with great value. Came here on two instances - First time, my boyfriend's car's transmission died and the owner simply repaired it. I don't know much about cars, but that already makes me iffy because the car wasn't starting and repairing something that's broken will only cause the issue to resurface again. As I guessed right, the car died again and again brought it back to the shop so he can make more money. This time the guy promised to order a transmission and replace - and after a week, he still hasn't gotten to it. He ignored our calls and never updated my boyfriend and his mom about the car. Finally when he does reply, he tells us that he sold it to someone for us for $2,000 (Honda Civic). Sure - we were going to take it, when we got there, he totally bullsh*ted us and gave us $1,000 only. Came up with all these excuses. We basically got jipped and cannot trust this guy again. Super unprofessional and cheats you for your money. read more

There seem to be a lot of conflicting views about this place. Fortunately, we seem to be on the good side of things. The owner helps us often, and at the same time we often have our car checked here, even if they are minor. When we moved, the owner even helped us sell our old car. Honest people. I thought i need to replace my front pads. I They jack up my car and told me that the pads has at least 50 % left that probably can use for 10K miles. Actually they ordered pads and rotors but the managers said it's fine because he can return to vendor. The money saved i can get gas to run at least 7,000 miles with today's gas price read more

I have been taking all my cars and my relative's cars for collision and services to Vanguard for years now, the owner Liu Lei is super friendly and likes to joke a lot, but he always takes care of me. Vanguard's price is pretty fair compare with any "stealerships!!" my father-in law has a lot of interesting stories to tell before i introduced him to Vanguard, NO THANKS TO YOU ACURA OF SANTA CLARA!!! I saw couple of the negative reviews out there. I don't think it is nice to give someone's business a negative review with vague comments or has not even given them a try! But i guess some people are just like to be a critic of everything. Give an 1 star because when I changed the clutch, I ask them to change tranny oil for the car They didn't do it but told me they did. 2 years later my car's transmission was broken. Fail to change tranny oil could be one of the reasons to cause the problem. read more

Take the time to talk to the owner (Louis) and set the expectations. He'll cut you a deal, and the work will be done nicely. It may not be done when promised, but close to it. He's really flexible and will work within your budget. He fixed another ding on my car while I had it in and I didn't even ask him. You definitely get what you pay for with them. read more

I went there twice as he was recommended by a friend. This is a honest place for the work. The first time I had "check engine" lights on and I took my car to my usual service garage. I was told it cost $ 350 for two air flow sensors. I bought the sensors myself from O'reily and took them to Vangard. They found out that I only need to change one and only charge me one hour labor cost. I returned the other sensor back to the shop! So it's very honest and I am very impressed with their work. A few weeks later my sliding door broke and I was told by another garage it will cost between $500 to $1000 depending the parts and they have to open the panel. Vangard checked for me and found found out no part broke. They adjusted all the parts there and only charged me three hour labor costs! Now my door works as new! Highly recommended! read more

The place is not honest, I changed all the break and rotor, the owner 刘磊 was told me that he help me changed the factory stranded sets with warranty, end up after drive 4000 miles. My wheel shaking, they do not have rocord, and I found my receipt, they say it is defect, and change one for me, the manager say, my one is not good. I am clear was told that they will shop the best one for my car when they ask me to change. So it is very possible they ask you change when it is not need. They use bad parts, maybe more likely old parts. I see different review for the place. And found out how is the service is who are you, my church Paster like them. I do not like it. read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I definetly would. While some auto services/repair shops tend to charge an arm and a leg for their services. Vanguard does not. He charged me big bucks and the scracth can still be seen through his paint. He lied about the pickup time and ruined other part of the car. Interior was messy, Horrible!!
