I was told this is buy here pay here. Later i found out there are multiple GPS trackers on your vehicle as well as a don't start deterrent that prevents your car from driving or starting if they choose. I was on autopay for $346 every other week and i made such without ever being late. on 09/13/24 my vehicle was repossessed for not having enough insurance on it. i called and spoke to Britney in Texarkana and she said we can work this out just make your payment and we'll get this fixed. I did just that. Monday i was told i cannot get my vehicle back unless i paid it in full. Now i have a repossession on my credit that show double the amount financed (56,000) of a 24,000 truck. And as i drive by the dealer today i see the vehicle all cleaned up and ready to be resold for the price i initially purchased it for. I looked this up and its suppose to go to auction and anything over is paid to me and anything under Autosmart can sue me for. I've reached out to these people and Lucas Ponder who is the Ceo i believe and no one will return my call. I've filed with the BBB and DPS on finding a solution. Now my credit is tarnished and this company does not tell anyone the truth or be up front. Their response is, its in the paperwork you sign. Anyone reading this know the amount of paperwork you sign when you get a vehicle. This was never explained to me about any GPS tracking, that it would be placed on my credit and that these proceedings would take place. I urge anyone reading this to stray away from Autosmart and Patterson, who is the owners of this. I'm seeking my credit to be deleted from this and willing to do all that is neccessary to make sure of such in court. Good luck and please never buy anything from these people.

I was lied to, to my face about repairs that were critical with a 4k price attached. My other mechanic shop completed the tracking of the problem that was told to me that needs to be repaired, and found no issue whatsoever. That the problem Land Rover service department tried to get me to pay 4k to have repaired was nonexistent. Completely untrustworthy service department. I have the documents necessary to prove the lying by the Land Rover service advisor and the documentation of the other shop showing absolutely nothing wrong with the said repair that she tried to get me to pay 4k to repair. I have been trying to get my refund for gap coverage and my remaining extended warranty from a vehicle that I traded in in February 2026. This request is pretty standard and should have been handled by them very easily. I fully intended to buy my 2026 Land Rover from there until they would not sell me the vehicle I wanted without excessive add ons that I did not ask for ("Ceramic" coating, which is nothing more than a detail spray, for over $1k, along with some other non-negotiable items). To properly apply a real ceramic coating is more than the 15 minutes I am sure they spend on each vehicle that comes off of the truck. I am the customer and I can choose what dealer add-ons that I want and don't want on my vehicle. I went to Land Rover Houston Central and purchased my new 2026 Defender without all of the games and required add-ons because that's the way business should be done. This Land Rover dealer is about as good as a Kia lot with regard to their integrity and overall lack of care. Take your business somewhere else.
