With the package guaranteed us that the dealership did a 139 point inspection on the vehicle. Just on the drive home, we found multiple issues wrong with the car. We live out of town, so we took the car to our local dealership. $1,300 later, the other dealership repaired multiple items that were supposedly on the 139 point inspection checklist. I highly doubt any 139 point inspection was ever actually done by Peltier. I've emailed and called Peltier 10+ times asking for a copy of the 139 point inspection report that we PAID ~$2,200 for only to receive no response. On top of scamming us out of ~$2,200 by selling us an inspection that was never done, Peltier ran my credit without permission when I expressly told them not to. They ran my credit not once but FOUR times. We specifically told them we came to the dealership with financing already in hand and did not need or want them to run my credit. Dusty Brooks, our sales rep, told me that Peltier just needed my information to "close the deal" - whatever that means. So, I gave him my information but expressly refused to sign the bottom portion of the document requesting for authorization to pull my credit. I told him multiple times I was only giving my information but did not authorize a credit pull and was not and would not sign the authorization. I get home and see that Peltier did in fact pull my credit when I expressly said not to. Worst dealership experience ever. Do not come here unless you want to be lied to and scammed. I will be opening a report with corporate and with whichever governmental agencies I need to report Peltier's behavior.p

The steering wheel would suddenly jerk heavily to the right or left and then the steering wheel would be cantered to the right or left. The car remained straight. After several trips to get the car looked at and an oil change (they never changed the oil) Patterson told us my daughter had wrecked the car and they would not honor the factory warranty or the extended warranty and wanted $4000 to repair the car. We looked up a car fax on the car and found it was owned by a dealership in DFW and sent to Patterson. We took the car to Mathews Nissan in Paris TX. They found a steering component had been changed and that the front collision sensor did not work and that a steering wheel sensor was bad. I am convinced Patterson knew the car was damaged and sold it to my daughter. The people at Mathews where going to fix the car under warranty and change the oil. I told them I was going to sell the car when it was repaired. They helped me find a new car and took the Kicks as trade as per Bluebook value. Great experience there. I lost a few thousand but peace of mind that my daughter will not be killed in an accident because of a Lemon sold to her by Patterson... Priceless.

The dastardly deed had to do with the bent wheel on the vehicle that wasn't recognized nor disclosed at the time of sale and when contacted, the only response I recieved was "we hope you enjoy your car" got the text saved. Normally that wouldn't bother me but the fact that they put new tires on this car and didnt disclose. Got the lust of work performed at trade in. They knew, it didnt balance out. $500 later with a new wheel, it drives like a dream.

I was denied by Doug a refund of half of the diagnostic and that may be standard for them, but it is a bad policy for me not to know upfront what the diagnostic was going to cost.

Marco was our first point of contact. My plan was to tell him, no, I don't need any help, just leave us alone and let us look. But, Marco was so kind and we automatically felt at ease asking him about half a dozen used cars. Then, we mentioned the VW promotion and told him we were interested in the details of leasing a VW and he introduced us to Angie. Angie was awesome, a more professional salesperson I have yet to meet. We discussed several options and she was pretty honest with us about what we could do with leases and our credit and the prices of the Jetta vs Passat. After several visits to the dealership, many calls to and from Angie, a couple of test drives, and my husband trying to back out several times, we are now leasing a VW Jetta in moondust (I think that's the color) and are extremely happy!!! Angie helped us stay within our budget and helped us get a good price for our trade-in. We have already given her name out to two friends interested in our same successful experience! Also, every person with whom we came into contact at the dealership was extremely professional. My parents were good friends with the Russell's who owned the dealership prior and we always felt like we were given a good deal, plus excellent customer service. I told Angie & Marco this, but when my father bought a Mazda protege from Rusty Russell in 1992, Rusty taught me how to drive it (5-speed) in the Movies 9 parking lot! So, we were so glad to see the dealership rebuilt and bought again after his death. More importantly, we are thrilled to see that the same spirit of fairness and quality customer service survived the transition. We will be back!

A salesman contacted her and offered to get her out of lease, only to spend nearly two weeks playing phone tag before telling her she would have to pay at least 11,000 for the dealership to take the car back. At the time of sale I was promised they would ship in another vehicle from a sister dealership which also never showed. Guess I dodged a bullet there. The service department wanted the vehicle left for two days to diagnose the ac issue, our local Toyota dealer did in under 3 hours. Would not recommend this VW dealer for anything.
