A long-time Houston family planted in Houston and have been in business for prob over forty years or so! Father and son business and I came to them to have some jewel appliqué embellished jeans hemmed because I'm a petite 5'1 girly and it's hard to find jeans that fit! I called them on Easter weekend and they were about to close shop early for the holiday weekend but I caught them right before closing and they agreed to stay open just long enough for me to get there and drop off the jeans. I arrived and Mr. Imparali (their dad) stayed after just to measure my hem and then the tune around time was quick! Just a few days later we picked up the jeans and they even expedited it for us. Excellent customer service, above and beyond, and precise, dependable work on the hem! I'd highly recommend them and use them in the future! Just the sweetest family honestly!

Went back as requested, one item was not altered correctly. I finally had both items 2 weeks after my first visit. I also feel I was overcharged for the work that was done. My son wore it to his school's end of year dance and was absolutely beaming and he felt confident, stylish, and so proud of how he looked. The craftsmanship was flawless -- he didn't just tailor the suit to fit perfectly now, he even left extra fabric hidden inside the seams so we can let it out as my son grows. The person said the return time would only be an hour, so I quickly went over to the mall location. I just needed the pants hemmed, but when they asked if I wanted them brought in at the waist, I said I'd do that only if they could still be ready that day, She told me that actually neither would be finished that day, even though she had said the hem would take under an hour only 30mins prior on the phone call. Whatever. The tailor who measured me was pretty rude. I was charged an exorbitant $68. Despite him marking while they were on my body, the hem is 1-1.25 inches too short, which just fucks them up entirely, and they didn't create a seam at the hem. I just really did not expect a blind hem for $68. The stitching is ALL OVER THE PLACE and the sewing created puckering everywhere. I did a better job sewing when I was 12. When I finally wore them, I realized how bad they look. So disappointed.

The reputation he built -- quality, speed, and a family touch -- is a Houston story. Over the past several months, I've become a much more frequent client, and a pattern has emerged. One sister is genuinely warm, attentive, and makes you feel like your business matters. The other is a consistent source of frustration. Too many visits have started with visible irritation on her end, required me to redirect her attention to alteration needs that should have been obvious, and ended in results that reflected the disconnect. She is doesn't seem to love/like the craft or even the business-- and that shows up in how she engages with clients. There have been moments I've walked out so taken aback that I called a friend just to confirm I wasn't imagining it. I wasn't -- this appears to be a pattern others have experienced too. It's also evident in many online reviews. I share this because I want this business to do well long term. Their father built something special, and the foundation is still there. But one person's attitude is a real risk to the reputation he worked so hard to build. I hope she finds her way back to loving this work -- the business and its clients deserve that.
