(This review is solely about customer service since I didn't end up being able to drop off any items.) After seeing that Boss Cleaners was one of the higher rated dry cleaning services in the area, I decided to stop by to inquire about bridal/wedding dress cleaning prior to a resale. I was greeted immediately upon walking in by a woman; unfortunately I didn't get her name. She began to take a look at my wedding dress and after asking a few questions, she quickly realized that the dress had ALOT of detail (pearls, stones, glitter on the underside, etc.). She then thoroughly explained why it would be a risky clothing item to clean and expressed her lack of comfort level in doing so. Although I wasn't able to get my dress dry cleaned here, I overly appreciated her honesty (as opposed to a disaster later!) and she informed me of some great questions to ask other cleaners as I shopped around. read more

Came here for alterations very fast and efficient! I needed a dress taken in on the sides. I Took my dress in early in the morning before the alterations lady was in for the day and the other lady there was able to take my measurements so that I didn't have to come back in later. My dress was ready by 2pm. She did amazing and apparently she created the dress in the window of the shop as well she's an amazing seamstress. Highly recommend. read more

We had been using Boss Cleaners for about 2 years, and they seemed to do an Okay job. However, we started to notice that some of the items we were getting dry cleaned started falling apart more often (e.g., buttons would fall off or we would notice a new rip). The last time I visited, I dropped off a blazer and a pair of suit pants (to have a button for the back pocket put back on). Much later that day / that night, I received a call from Boss Cleaners, with the lady saying that I brought the blazer in damaged and that any tears in the jacket were my fault and not their fault and so they just wanted me to know I was at fault. I thought I may have missed a tear, and so apologized and said that was fine. When I picked up the jacket and brought it home to inspect it - the holes in the back where nothing that I had expected, and while I do not know for sure, it seems very likely it occurred at cleaners. I wear the jacket to work, and as soon as I get there it is placed on my coatrack in the closet and isn't removed until I leave (and when I get home, I immediately hang it back up). The rips looked like the jacket had been caught on some hooks or hangers will being dragged. We were disappointed in this experience, and will not be returning (and they also did not add the button back on). read more

They did an excellent job altering my dress. I had a beautiful sequin dress that I needed to be taken in about 4-6 inches in the bust. They took it in and shortened the straps. They did such a good job, and it fit me perfectly. If I didn't know I had gotten it altered, I would have thought the dress was made that way! The alteration was also extremely affordable. My go-to dry cleaners. Fair price and nice people. I like that they take time to make conversation with you and remember you when you come back. The sign says same-day service, in by 9 and back by 5, but this is definitely not true. The clothes are always ready when they tell you they will be, though. Of course I waited until the last minute to get my Bridesmaids dress altered. In a last minute effort to save myself the pain of safety pinning the sides of my dress, I drove to Boss Cleaners & Alterations. I pass by there every-day and finally, I had an urgent reason to stop in. I was so lucky that when I walked in the alteration lady (Trang) was there working and was able to get me. I put it on and she pinned it and said you can pick it up by Friday...(Praise the alteration Gods, the wedding was Sunday!) I went in Friday, it was a perfect fit and the price was right too! On top of that I had somehow wrinkled it in the process of taking it to the cleaners and they were kind enough to send it out for me the day I went in to pick it up for alterations and I was able to pick it up Saturday with a perfect fit and wrinkle free just in time for the wedding! The lady at the front desk was extremely polite. They did a superb dry clean job on my silk blouse. A little pricey, $4.99 for dry clean or women's blouses and $2 less for men's shirts. There is a minimum of $10 charge to use your credit card/debit, so take cash if you don't have a big order. The very sweet lady waived the fee for me this once since I had no idea about the minimum purchase card fee. I dropped my blouse off on Wednesday, it was ready by Friday. I took in a silk blouse and 2 other items to be cleaned, and the silk blouse came back damaged. I asked the woman at the front what happened and she told me that my blouse (new and never been cleaned before) came in damaged! Buttons on the front of the shirt made an impression on the back of the shirt when it was pressed on too high of a heat. I'm shocked that a dry cleaner doesn't know the appropriate way to treat different fabrics to avoid damages. On top of all of this, they charged me for the 2 other items they cleaned! When I asked to speak to someone else about this I learned the woman I was speaking with was the OWNER. I will not be going back to this, or any, Boss Cleaners. I know the other guys down the street are a little more expensive, but it's worth to make sure your clothing isn't ruined. read more

The owner of this place actually just reamed me out for complaining about the paper pieces stuck all over my blanket that she charged me $25 to clean. She threw a fit, said I accuse her of ruining my things all the time, which is certainly not the case. In my opinion, I am giving you business... Do your job and be thankful you're in business and refrain from talking to your paying customers like that. Boss Cleaners on San Felipe, not a good service. I took my comforter to be washed and pressed. The day which I went to pick up, first it didn't have my name on my merchandise, Second it didn't seem clean at all, it had that dull look prior to wash and no press, and last not least, as I opened the comforter in the shop to inspect, I recognized a tear back of the comforter. Once I showed it to the cashier lady, she didn't even apologize, she was just standing like no help! My worst experience ever! read more
