Went here to buy to a fruit tart. They had a small circular cake for $25, a medium circular one for $32, and a big rectangular one which I didn't get the price of. I bought the $32 cake. I rarely come here, but I thought I'd give this place a try. I had high expectations because of the reviews on how "amazing" their fruit tarts are. But when I ate it, the tart was not as fluffy as my usual bakery I go to for fruit tarts (Sing Sing otherwise Corner View Bakery). However, it does have a lot more fruit than Corner View Bakery. There's also no balance between the cream and tart. So after one bite, it's a load of cream that somewhat tastes like cheese. The cake was probably days old, since the fruits also tasted spoiled. Not exceptional customer service either. I guess it's to be expected because it's a vietnamese bakery. read more

Just have a little patience if your not use to the Little Saigon driving or shopping habits ( example: getting ran into with a shopping cart, people just walking out in front of your car, stopping in the middle of an isle that barely has room for two, someone that just stares at you, and etc etc etc.). But when you finally make it inside the store just get the ham and cheese croissant with a coffee and you will be happy you did. All the other sandwich pastries are awesome as well. The tiramisu was above average, and if you really don't have a clue just get the beef jerky (recommend curry style). read more

Fruit tart cakes! Amazing! You know how some taste eggy, well not this one. Flackey creamy freshly irresistible. Walking in I was hesitant due to being non Vietnamese and having all eyes on you experience before. Yikes! Quite pleased though friendly and quick. I got a large round for $40 fed about 15 people could have fed 20. I will be returning for more goods. read more

I usually come here in the morning and buy Bánh Bt Lc, Bánh Cun, Rau Máu, và Nc Mía. Sometimes, I bought cream cakes and tiramisu cakes for birthday, even the fruits cakes. All the cakes tasted okay but the prices are very expensive. As you're walking, you'll see all the cakes with each price. I think the small cakes cost a lot. read more

We've been going to this bakery for years, and it's sad that their quality has gone way down since when we've first gone here. Their cakes are starting to become rather dry, lacking in flavor, and more expensive. In our most recent visit, we wanted a basic genoise vanilla sponge cake, and the woman behind counter assured us that it would be vanilla sponge with strawberries and we could not have been more disappointed that it was the wrong flavor. When we cut into the cake, it was red velvet, about as far from our order we can get. I wish we could get our $34 back, what a waste! After talking to other family members, sending people home with the wrong flavor cakes isn't a uncommon thing. I don't know what's going on with this bakery, but they've definitely lost these customers. We won't be coming back. read more

I bought coconut cookies (sold in a clear plastic clam-shell) which were flaky like a small croissant with a filling which may have been bean paste but tasted like coconut. I thought they were excellent (not too sweet) and wish I would have bought another type so I could have sampled something else in addition. I called and the phone just rang and rang. So I had to leave the place empty handed and scramble like crazy for another place that would have a large cake ready in a short amount of time. I struggled to even give this place one star. Poor customer service, very bad frozen yogurt, questionable integrity. This place ruined my California experience. I came in excited about Cali food. We got frozen yogurt, and left the handles a little bit down. We were yelled at to fix them. IT'S YOUR JOB. WHY DON'T YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN BAKERY!?!??!?!?!! The cashier also put on an attitude when I didn't speak in Vietnamese with her. I felt discriminated against and found it highly offensive of her for doing so. The frozen yogurt didn't even taste good. It was more liquid-y than in solid form. I ended up drinking my froyo, instead of using a spoon to scoop it. A complete waste of money. There was fog on the glass of the display where they keep cakes and baked goods refrigerated. The fog means it was warmer inside the refrigerator than outside in the air conditioned bakery. This makes me question the food quality and the sanitary conditions. I fully regret coming in here. read more

This was the first time I visited this particular location. They didn't have the cakes that I was looking for, so I picked up a few other things instead, including one of those green waffles. I have to say, that waffle was pretty great LoL...subtley sweet with a light creaminess that makes it melt in your mouth LoL. My only pet peeve was that the lady tried to give me an old waffle that was sitting on the rack for who knows how long! She tried to warm the old nasty waffle in the waffle iron and looked surprised when I asked for a new one LoL. These things have to be eaten fresh! Lol nevertheless.....they're so much better than any other waffles i've had! Yum! read more

Their customer service is so-so not great but not horrible it's an Asian bakery. The bakery is run by older Vietnamese ladies. They are very nice if you need to communicate in English you have to talk to one of the younger employees. Their English is not that great but understandable. I don't like picking up or order a cake here unless its last minute and i dont have a choice. Just because I feel that their durian cake is not fresh at all when you cut into it you'll see it looks old the color is not yellow like a durian should be when it is fresh and when you eat it, it is more mushy than its suppose to be. I would compare it to durian sticky rice and that's already mushy because it is suppose to be. I haven't ordered anything else or bought anything else from here so I can't speak for their other products. But I definitely prefer to purchase my durian cake elsewhere where it is extremely fresh and you can tell by the taste which is not mushy, the texture is the way it should be when it is fresh and the color is yellow the way it should be. read more
