People come here for the pastries. I come here for the pork and red bean buns. Wow! The bun is so soft and made to perfection with the right amount of delicious filling! I also love their curry pastries. Can't decide whether I like the chicken or beef best. Today I got a turkey sandwich with avocado and it was delicious!

This Cream Pan is a branch from the original's in Tustin, mildly closer to Disneyland. The neighborhood is a little sketch, but there's a spacious parking lot with an ample amount of spaces, and the interior is pretty wide with a lot of breathing room. Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.

The bakery had so many pastries and baked goods that I'll definitely have to come back to try more. The café has a bright, clean, and cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal or treat. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you're looking for a bakery with a variety of sweet and savory options, Cream Pan is definitely worth checking out!

I am only reviewing their one famous item, the strawberry cream pastry. Honestly, I can eat these all day. The cream is perfect, not too sweet. The croissant has a wonderful crisp and the strawberries are sweet. When combined, it tastes like perfection. Price is good. They also have alot of other cakes and baked goods that looked good. Plenty of parking, sit down area is okay. Feeding pastries to a date can look romantic.

My favourite at cream pan is the curry bread. The curry rice is not bad too but you have to order and wait 20 min for it to be ready. I got the strawberry shortcake for my birthday last year and was surprised at how good it was. The strawberries were fresh and the cream was light and fluffy and the cake very soft like sponge. Everything is amazing here but the downside is a lot of it gets sold out in the afternoon. I prefer the Fountain Valley location over the Tustin one because it is a lot bigger and not as crowded.

Always a stop before heading back home to San Diego. The strawberry croissant is absolutely delicious. Perfectly sized, as some croissants can be overly large. It's flaky with a rich, creamy custard that complements the strawberry perfectly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, though there was a small oversight at the front where the cheesy bread wasn't added to the order. Despite that minor hiccup, the quality of the pastries keeps me coming back. I will definitely continue to stop by whenever I'm in Orange County.

This place is big and full of delicious goodies. Location has plenty of parking up front and plenty of seating. The staff here are excellent so warm and welcoming. The selections they have are extensive from pastries, bread, sandwiches, desserts, coffee and more it's a great stop for breakfast/lunch/snack. It's large and all their fooods are made/baked on site. The prices here were very reasonable and honestly good for the quality you get. It's a chill place to come get a nice meal/snack. I liked it and would come back

Cream Pan is another favorite shop of mine when I visit So-Cal. This location is one of 3 in the So-Cal area and not the original (original is in Tustin). This location is newer, and has some good seating. But parking may be difficult if you come at busy hours. We went here during brunch hours and it was empty...until we checked out. There was a line about 10 people after us. We got a lot of items ($150+ so took a while to ring up). To me, they have some of the best pastries ever. Their Cream Puffs are my favorite since the filling is more like a custard than whipped cream. The most popular is the Strawberry Croissant, which uses the same custard filling as the cream puffs. When we went, we got breakfast for our group so got everything to go to eat at the Airbnb. They also sell savory items, such as the katsu sandwiches (which are really good), and musubis and baos and curry buns. You really cannot go wrong with any items here and I still have not tried all the items here. They also sell coffee if you need a pick me up. Service was great also. We had a lot of items and the cashier worked efficiently and got us out quickly. I'll happily go here again for the next visit.

Cream Pan features delicately crafted, freshly prepared desserts. The store maintained a pristine seating area and a large welcoming entrance. The service was quick. Plenty of parking.

Wow -- Cream Pan has such a huge variety! I stopped by around 7:30am and was pleasantly surprised there wasn't much of a line. Parking is super easy with a large lot right out front. Of course, I came for their famous strawberry croissants -- and they make it so convenient! They're pre-packaged and ready to grab from the refrigerator by the door. Fresh, flaky, and absolutely worth the hype. I also noticed they have tons of other pastries and even musubi -- I'll definitely be back to try those too!

    Diane L.

Ok I got greedy this time and purchased 3 strawberry croissants since I was left wanting more after grabbing only one during my last visit. Safe to say my craving is now satisfied.

Cream Pan - it's about time I made it inside this bakery. I gotta say, there was an overwhelming about of signage inside and outside the building that it looked pretty tacky. And the inside looked very outdated. However, I didn't come here to look at decor. I came for their famous STRAWBERRY CROISSANTS. I've grown to love these flaky croissants stuffed with custard and tart strawberries, and a dusting of powdered sugar, which make for a not-too-sweet dessert. I've tried them from parties but never had a chance to come out here. The service was pretty quick. No interaction but that's okay. Totally just came and got the strawberry croissants from the refrigerated area, as well as other treats including their Chocolate Croissant (meh), the Cheese Boule (too oily), and and Steamed Buns (they were okay). Overall, I can see why the Strawberry Croissant is their best seller - it really is delicious!

    Christopher T.

We came late on Sunday late afternoon so not much left. The strawberry croissants are done and only a handle of baked goods with cakes and breads are left. This location is in not a friendliness neighborhood but it's big and has their packing lot. Very spacious inside and huge seating area for dine in. Customer service is okey, could be friendlier but it's late in the day and they have like an hr left before closing. Their breads are excellent, cakes are good, and baked goods are very good. We got 3 items to go for breakfast and prices wise, decent and reasonable.

Hard to find pastry shops in this part of OC. The pastry sizes are on the smaller side. Taste is ok. Nothing to rave about.

Will they still be good and fresh if put in room temperature for up to 6 hours? Buying it early for a party in the evening! Thanks

I think so if the room temperature is cool. I say this because my room temperature can get up to 85° or higher in the summer. So if room temperature is in the low 70s probably ok.

Do they have the exact same items here than the Tustin location? Especially the savory items like rolls, sushi, inigri, fotomaki, sandwiches, katsu sandwiches etc?

    No it a little different

Are there any peanuts or tree nuts in any of their items? My kids have allergies to both.

They have a large variety of pastries so would have to ask them directly but I did see lots of items with nuts

Are the strawberry croissants gluten free?

    I don't think so

Do the strawberry croissants come in packs? If so, what's the pricing?

A strawberry croissant is $2.00 now. So there are new prices:…

Is it as busy as Tustin?

Personally, I think its not as busy, or at least the times I've gone it isn't. The times I've been, it's like I walk in, order, & pay all in the span of maybe 5 minutes. When I'm in desperate need of pastries, I've definitely driven by Tustin first,…

Is this the same owner as the one in Tustin?

Yes; the old one was too small to handle all of the growth in their business. So now they have the 2 stores.

    What's holiday hours?

According to their website: * IRREGULAR Hours 6am-5pm: Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and…

Do they make hot cinnamon rolls?

    I've never seen any.

Do you have any vegan pastry options?

    Yes, they do.

    Do they ship?

No but you can see if Uber, Postmates or other delivery services can

How long are the strawberry croissant good for before they get soggy?

A day at most. Best eaten same day bought.

    Do they delivery?

They used to deliver to stores (According to 7 leaves coffee) but because of COVID they stopped delivering. You can Uber eats, Postmates etc.

What time do they start serving curry?

    9:30

Are they open for business? if so, what are the hours? Thanks!

They're not fully operational so there's no sandwiches or curry dishes. But they do have variety of baked goods. I think their hours are similar to the one in Tustin (6Am-7pm??)
