This is what I frequently buy in this store...We went today and I was surprised there is no line. Want to buy bao #1 (box/9pcs))but unfortunately there is only 4pcs left on #1 and 2pcs on #3,a total of 6pcs left.Paid total of $15 just for the 6pcs compared to $15/box, I wish they give a discount for buying their left over that's why I gave 3star...the ambience was fine since I'm the only customer and not buzy. I'm happy got to buy my favorites

Tried this place out during Tet celebrations. It is conveniently located right next to the Asian Garden Mall. Prices are very affordable and despite the long line, I appreciated the fast service. They have the banh baos pre-made so there is no wait time if you are just ordering buns. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the buns. I'm not sure if they were making smaller sized buns during the busy season of Tet but the buns were literally a few bites. Taste was ok - I'm not sure if quality control was rushed during this hectic time. I also ordered the roasted pork bahn mi ($7), which was great. Similar in quality to the pork belly sandwich at Carrot & Daikon yet a few bucks cheaper. I would like to come back and try their buns again given all these reviews. I did not have that same experience.

Craving steamed buns? Yumy Bao is the spot for bánh bao in Little Saigon. Tucked right next to Phước Lộc Thọ Plaza, the nonstop line caught my attention--and now I get the hype. The wait is 100% worth it. Bite-sized bao with an ideal bun-to-meat ratio. The salted egg version is the standout for me, but honestly, every flavor hits. One bite and you'll understand why people keep coming back.

The best place to get banh bao. Reviews say its the standard and I couldn't agree more. My family adores this place (and many others). The line here gets crazy even though there are multiple locations. They do not play when it comes to selling their banh bao - they have them freshly made ready to be box as you order. Either buy 1 single or a box of 15. We always leave with 2-3 boxes. Whenever my aunt comes she buys 5-6 boxes to fly home with. Not only the banh bao is good but I love the #1 banh mi option too. They give a variety of cold cuts not just one type like most places

Hard to find parking, but the baos are worth it. Love #1 and #3. The black bun with salted egg yolk is my fav!! They also sell other things like banh mi and che. I ordered the crispy pork banh mi and when I got home it was not it! Tricked me! Guy even looked at me and said "crispy pork" while handing me my order. Make sure you open the wrapping because the banh mi is covered in aluminum foil. Other than this little hiccup everything tastes great.

Smallest one among their store. Parking can be tough since there is just a handful of it within but you can park at the Asian mall and walk over. Staff is nice and friendly, order was a breeze and fast turnaround. They do have everything like their sibling stores. Was here early in the morning to get some bánh mì and coffee but they didn't have the coffee quite ready yet so just the sandwich. The bread does look appealing but tasty and the filling is good. The store is clean but clusters with a lot of goodies. Overall not bad at all.

Ordered 4 sandwiches and only got 3. Terrible service and ripoff. Will never come back to this shady location again. Note: They forced us to pay CASH and when i called they said the location is "too new", these people are shameless shady scammers. I do NOT recommend this place I will also post on Yummy Express Food to Go since it's the same shady business.

If you are looking for a good Vietnamese sandwich banh bao then this is for you. You know it's fresh when you see a line every time you go. Famous for their sandwiches but they also offer other snacks and treats. We bought their spicy beef jerky. They offer catering trays so that's great for parties and everything is made fresh so expect a slight weight time. Their location is always busy, clean and stocked. Staff is friendly. No where to sit. It's a pick it up and take to go. Drinks are good too. Prices are great! Go try it!

The food is great here; love me the banh bao and pate so. I give a low rating though because they need to be a little more careful in their food prep: I found a rock in my Che Ba Mau

I love me some baos! They're portable and easy to eat when you're on the go. Decided to check out this Yummy location. Salted Egg Buns (4/5): Ground pork mixture with a piece of Chinese sausage and salted egg. The filling is flavorful and complements well with the bun. The bun texture is a little dense and could be a bit fluffier. Other than that, I still enjoyed it. Xa Xiu Bun (3.5/5): The char xiu meat was a little on the sweeter side for me. Again, the bun texture could be a bit fluffier and less dense. The meat was tender though. House Special Che (3/5): Decent, but it was missing some oompth. It was pretty sweet and I probably wouldn't order this again. Tofu Pudding Dessert (4/5): Delicious! It has a great "jiggly" texture and the flavor was mellow yet refreshing. Not to sweet dessert! I recommend getting the matcha flavor. Fast & quick service. To-go spot with no seating inside.

Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12
