It's lost the atmosphere that it had. Food was not good. Waiting ourselves not good! Music is way too loud!

The shrimp batter was salty, light and crunchy! Fries were crinkled and crisp. Slaw was nice and tangy! Probably not a great place if you're trying to watch the diet! Clean restaurant inside. Service was great! Lots of people on a Friday for lunch! Would come back and try their po boys!

We were greeted by the hostess and allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. They have table and booth seating available. Our server was really prompt and friendly. For starters, I ordered gumbo. It was horrible; look at the picture and draw your own conclusion. I do NOT recommend the gumbo!!! Save your $6.99.... THANKFULLY, everything else was yummy!!!!! My mom had the popcorn shrimp platter and I had the catfish filet platter( fried hard). The platter comes with 2 sides + hushpuppies. See pics We couldn't eat all our food so we had to get to go boxes. We also ordered lemon pie but since they were out, we got the key lime pie instead. Reallly tasty slice of pie heaven! The Ark is located off Main Street in Springville, Al. They have parking on both sides of the building. Overall, this was a solid visit. Good food, good service in a comfortable atmosphere with TVs and nice music playing. I plan to return soon!

Consistent 5-Star Excellence! Outstanding Food, Massive Portions, and Great Value…read more Every single time we visit this spot, they absolutely knock it out of the park. If you want a flawlessly executed steakhouse dinner in the Birmingham area without the pretentious price tag, this is your place. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with a baked potato, and both were cooked exactly to order. My wife started with their huge, fresh house salad before tackling the massive 16oz ribeye and a fully loaded baked potato. Honestly, the 16oz cut looked like something straight out of The Flintstones--it was beautifully charred, incredibly juicy, and absolutely massive. The service matched the stellar quality of the kitchen. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kept my sweet tea topped off the entire night (which is no easy task!). We wrapped up the evening with a slice of chocolate cake. It was literally the size of a diner-style napkin dispenser--decadent, moist, and downright delicious. Budget-wise, it's a high-end steakhouse experience, so expect to spend a little money. However, compared to other premium steakhouses around Birmingham, their pricing is incredibly fair and easily on the lower end of the fine-dining spectrum. You get amazing portions, top-tier quality, and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

The fire was going, which I found interesting considering it was a warm day. Im assuming for ambiance. Our waitress was ok, soft spoken and not the most outgoing. She seemed like she had something on her mind. Tonight was martini Monday, so had the pineapple martini and it was a little sweet but delicious. I would definitely get this one again. Tried the dirty martini, but tasted more like an extra dirty... Not my fav but still good. Our group ordered several apps to go with the drinks. Everything was amazing. I always find the food good, but the waiters/waitresses not totally with it. The runners have more personality.
