Blueberry pancakes & pancake combo w/ sausage, bacon, & scrambled eggs

Food was delicious! It is a small mom & pop restaurant that has great service, onolicious food, great servings, and good ambiance. It even has a shelf of kid toys to play with in the restaurant. It is a great local spot!

Vanta was amazing! Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had a variety of breakfast dishes, including Eggs Benedict, blueberry pancakes, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, and more, and every plate was fantastic. The atmosphere was cute, cozy, and welcoming, the service was friendly, and our food came out quickly. One of the best breakfast experiences we've had on Maui. We'll definitely be back!

This was one of the first places that came up when we searched for breakfast on yelp heading to the royal kahana. The food was delicious and the lattes were great! The chef gave us a complimentary avocado from his home grown tree!

Little cafe tucked in the corner that I've been meaning to try. Going in cute little shop with lots of stuff to look at like the money walk or maps where you pin where you're from. Owned by a nice couple. The was very solid big portions and tasted really good. I got the biscuits and gravy and they nice and fluffy the gravy tasted so good. The hash brown was also nice and crispy.

Such a cute mom and pop shop. Owners are super nice and love tourists to express where they are from. Food was delicious and big plate servings. Left super full! Definitely coming back

This is a nice, mom and pop ran coffee Cafe that is a little pricey but worth it. Not too much of these cafes are still in business. Simple menu with delicious breakfast. Its small but you can take your order on the go which is what I normally do. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict with hash brown and Canadian bacon. They have a simple coffee menu, that everyone would enjoy. They also have fresh fruit smoothies. The ambiance is low key and tranquil.

So glad I stumbled on this cafe. Owned by an Uncle and Auntie who are super sweet and kind. There's knick knacks from all over and a wall of foreign currency. It's just them that work there so don't be in a rush if you come here. Very generous portions and certainly worth the wait.

What an unexpected gem! A home cooked breakfast with love Thank you for your generous hospitality!

This is the cutest cafe! My boyfriend and i stopped here before heading to the airport on our way out of Maui and this couldn't have been a more perfect spot to have breakfast. We both got the banana pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon plate and it was a huge plate of yummy food! Just what we needed. The pancakes were the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! The owners are super sweet and the guy told us he picked the avocado from his garden this morning. 10/10 recommend coffee was great too!

Scrambled eggs. Portuguese sausage and hash browns. The pancakes were excellent!!

The food was excellent as was the service!! The atmosphere was also very fun and eclectic.

Cozy cute Small hole in the wall establishment in the Wailuku industrial area. Service was great although I think it's just two people working. Food came out in a decent amount of time and was DELICIOUS! simplest meal yet so comforting. Definitely revisiting when I am back on Maui

We came here twice on our trip. Our first time we had the French toast and the biscuits and gravy. The food was plentiful and delicious. This time we had the sausage croissant and the blueberry pancakes combo. The food is incredible and the service is friendly and hospitable. We love the atmosphere as it is a small quaint cafe. We will be back on our next visit, mahalo!

But we were there to eat and not necessarily have Pau Hana time, I will say though some of those draft on tap sound excellent! Ended up ordering: -Ale Battered Onion Rings ($15.75) -Turkey Club ($22.50) -Beef & Pork Burger ($22.99) -Wedge Salad ($16.75) Those Ale Battered Onion Rings hit the app spot! Beer-battered in house and come with chipotle mayo dipping sauce, fried & light, not overly greasy, good with them using sweet Maui onions! Brother wasn't too hungry, so he ended up getting a Wedge Salad (LOL) but with extra bacon. Looked good too! Mom & wifey shared the Turkey Club - that was a BIG @$$ sandwich! Roast turkey breast with Applewood smoked bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato between 3 slices of thick rye bread! Buggah was stacked! They both liked it, lean turkey with the fatty bacon, and the texture contrast of the fresh veggies made it tasty! My Beef & Pork Burger was a test to my cholesterol levels LOL! Near 1/2 pound burger made with ground chuck, cooked medium rare and topped with a pile of house roasted Kalua pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, crispy fried onions and BBQ sauce...was indeed a tower of a burger! Was pretty damn ono too! Burger got good char from the grill, and the kalua pork was flavorful and not dry at all. This burger didn't need a slice of cheese at all! Delicious! Maybe on our next time to Ale House we'll actually get some beers! Their daily Happy Hour specials sure are tempting!

It's a shame to see how much the whole setup has fallen into disrepair. The idea of no paper towels (dryers built into the faucets), no faucet handles, automatic soap dispensing and a way to open the door without grabbing the handle was amazing during the pandemic...but one sink faucet is completely broken and the other one seems to be struggling (sometimes the dryer works, sometimes it doesn't, soap dispenser seems not working so they use regular pump soap bottles from Walmart).

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

I tried teh Kau Kau Tin with pork belly and garlic noodles, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and a small mac salad. Generally, the Kau Kau Tin and the mac salad were utterly bland. The mac salad tasted of nothing. The garlic noodles in the Kau Kau tin also lacked flavor. The garlic noodle had the slightest of garlic taste. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and was the best part of the Kau Kau tin and I made sure to make each every piece of that. The Spicy Chicken sandwich was the most disappointing item I tried. The chicken patty was just a VERY FATTY piece of fried chicken. It was terrible. The texture shock alone from biting through crispy crust to gelatinous fat was shocking. But then, the chicken was not seasoned. It was a textural monstrosity that had no flavor. All in all, I'm glad I tried it. I will definitely try it again when back on the island in hopes that this was just a bad day.

What I enjoyed about this dish was the diced maui onion that offset the citrus from the ponzu. The flavors are light, and refreshing. The most disappointing was the crispy chicken. I thought it was too salty, but that's my preference and salt tolerance. The miso butterfish was also a great dish. The fish was buttery and flavored well. Not too saucy but the perfect amount of sauce. Service: Service is friendly, like most of the restaurants on Maui. The food was served in a timely manner.
