The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. It felt super refreshing after a long morning, and the whole place just has a great, chill vibe. Definitely a nice stop if you are in the area and want something light but filling. Their menu is simple, pretty much eggs and meat. Everything is cooked to order and simply delicious. Coffee is a blend including locally sourced beans. Prices are reasonable but I wouldn't say cheap. They have a pretty big menu with lots of drink options. They have coffee, tea, frappes, espresso frappes, hot chocolate, Italian cream sodas and smoothies. All their brews are freshly roasted in Maui. I like a good latte and their signature Luxe Latte looked like the move for me. It had vanilla and raw Maui honey. I got it iced as the sun was shining bright that morning. I love that they present it with a little chocolate coffee bean on top of the drink. It's like a bonus. First sip of the drink and I was in love. You can taste the quality coffee along with the raw honey and vanilla. They definitely use quality ingredients here. If hunger strikes, they do have pastry options which I am not sure if they make on their own or source it from somewhere else. They are located at the Maui Tropical Plantation and have a wide selection of items for souvenirs and gifts. Food products include jams, jellies, cookies, honey, spices, coffee, fresh produce grown on the grounds of the plantation, fresh baked goods and SO much more. They also have bags, soaps, lotions, teas, and other arts and crafts from local artisans and businesses. I came here recently to get some ideas for gifts as I knew they had a good variety and wanted to support local businesses. I ended up purchasing some cute swedish kitchen towels, cocktail mixers, and absolutely delicious macadamia nut butter made by Kumu Farms (the farm on property). Some things are a pricier compared to other stores (like jams and jellies) and can be found elsewhere for cheaper, so best to shop around. They do have items that are more unique and not widely available and the great part is they offer a 10% kamaaina discount. All in all, highly recommend this store for locals and visitors alike.
