Vanta was amazing! Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had a variety of breakfast dishes, including Eggs Benedict, blueberry pancakes, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, and more, and every plate was fantastic. The atmosphere was cute, cozy, and welcoming, the service was friendly, and our food came out quickly. One of the best breakfast experiences we've had on Maui. We'll definitely be back!

This was one of the first places that came up when we searched for breakfast on yelp heading to the royal kahana. The food was delicious and the lattes were great! The chef gave us a complimentary avocado from his home grown tree!

Little cafe tucked in the corner that I've been meaning to try. Going in cute little shop with lots of stuff to look at like the money walk or maps where you pin where you're from. Owned by a nice couple. The was very solid big portions and tasted really good. I got the biscuits and gravy and they nice and fluffy the gravy tasted so good. The hash brown was also nice and crispy.

Such a cute mom and pop shop. Owners are super nice and love tourists to express where they are from. Food was delicious and big plate servings. Left super full! Definitely coming back

This is a nice, mom and pop ran coffee Cafe that is a little pricey but worth it. Not too much of these cafes are still in business. Simple menu with delicious breakfast. Its small but you can take your order on the go which is what I normally do. My favorite is the Eggs Benedict with hash brown and Canadian bacon. They have a simple coffee menu, that everyone would enjoy. They also have fresh fruit smoothies. The ambiance is low key and tranquil.

So glad I stumbled on this cafe. Owned by an Uncle and Auntie who are super sweet and kind. There's knick knacks from all over and a wall of foreign currency. It's just them that work there so don't be in a rush if you come here. Very generous portions and certainly worth the wait.

What an unexpected gem! A home cooked breakfast with love Thank you for your generous hospitality!

This is the cutest cafe! My boyfriend and i stopped here before heading to the airport on our way out of Maui and this couldn't have been a more perfect spot to have breakfast. We both got the banana pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon plate and it was a huge plate of yummy food! Just what we needed. The pancakes were the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! The owners are super sweet and the guy told us he picked the avocado from his garden this morning. 10/10 recommend coffee was great too!

Scrambled eggs. Portuguese sausage and hash browns. The pancakes were excellent!!

The food was excellent as was the service!! The atmosphere was also very fun and eclectic.

Cozy cute Small hole in the wall establishment in the Wailuku industrial area. Service was great although I think it's just two people working. Food came out in a decent amount of time and was DELICIOUS! simplest meal yet so comforting. Definitely revisiting when I am back on Maui

We came here twice on our trip. Our first time we had the French toast and the biscuits and gravy. The food was plentiful and delicious. This time we had the sausage croissant and the blueberry pancakes combo. The food is incredible and the service is friendly and hospitable. We love the atmosphere as it is a small quaint cafe. We will be back on our next visit, mahalo!

Ono food. Small cute cafe. Food came out a little slow but was good quality food would recommend coming. Maybe have like 5 tables.

    Banana pancake with meat plate.

Food is big portions. I had the banana pancakes with meat plate. The hot banana was delicious. The eggs Benedict were tasty. Biscuits and gravy were good, but not the best. Coffee was a little pricey at $5 for brewed coffee but it tasted good. Good service. For sure a hole in the wall find. We would return.

    Yummy!

Probably went a bit overboard but we were able to try a lot of flavors. Best shaved ice I've ever had!!! Really enjoyed the Mango and coconut. Ice cream was so creamy - Mac nut, haupia (coconut), and ube were our favorites.

Oh wow! This went way above my expectations!…read more When my trip to Maui was first booked, I researched a lot of food/desserts to try and spots to go to. I saw a lot of hype about this shaved ice, but I was like "it just looks a snowcone an I've had plenty of those" so I kinda blew it off like "oh I'll try it if we just happen to stumble upon a place" but I didn't write it down as a "must try" We went on a hike at the Pipiwai trail one morning and drove the whole rode to Hana. I was pretty bummed that we didn't get to the banana bread place before they closed, but on our way back to Waleia, I was looking up some spots to get a snack. This place popped up and I remembered it from my research so I figured we'd just go. It was on the way. We got ube, green tea, and lychee with a snow cap and mochi. Omg! It was wayyyyyyyy better than just a regular ole snowcone. It's so much creamier and the additional texture of mochi made it even better. Idk if it was because we just got back from hiking but it was so refreshing! I deffinitly recommend The only downfall of the location is that there was only one table and it was full when we were there so we had to walk down a bit to find another bench to sit at.

Haven't been here in years, still feels the same as last time and that's not a bad thing!…read more Took Mom to Kahului Ale House for a late lunch one afternoon and who knew how many folks drink at like 1 PM HA! But we were there to eat and not necessarily have Pau Hana time, I will say though some of those draft on tap sound excellent! Ended up ordering: -Ale Battered Onion Rings ($15.75) -Turkey Club ($22.50) -Beef & Pork Burger ($22.99) -Wedge Salad ($16.75) Those Ale Battered Onion Rings hit the app spot! Beer-battered in house and come with chipotle mayo dipping sauce, fried & light, not overly greasy, good with them using sweet Maui onions! Brother wasn't too hungry, so he ended up getting a Wedge Salad (LOL) but with extra bacon. Looked good too! Mom & wifey shared the Turkey Club - that was a BIG @$$ sandwich! Roast turkey breast with Applewood smoked bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato between 3 slices of thick rye bread! Buggah was stacked! They both liked it, lean turkey with the fatty bacon, and the texture contrast of the fresh veggies made it tasty! My Beef & Pork Burger was a test to my cholesterol levels LOL! Near 1/2 pound burger made with ground chuck, cooked medium rare and topped with a pile of house roasted Kalua pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, crispy fried onions and BBQ sauce...was indeed a tower of a burger! Was pretty damn ono too! Burger got good char from the grill, and the kalua pork was flavorful and not dry at all. This burger didn't need a slice of cheese at all! Delicious! With over 20 screens you'll be able to watch anything Sporty, except women's golf, Pro Cornhole, Darts, or bowling. Wednesday night we arrived to celebrate a BD around 7pm (or the equivalent of 11pm on Maui, as they close at 9pm.) It was strangely quiet, but I forgot that it's only the second day of school. No more "louder than hell" pool tables so there's more booths so folks can order $22 nachos, $9 onion rings or a $20 BLT. No Five Dollar shakes here. Service is decent, friendly and spotty. But they try, you know, like Hooters. They approach and start asking you wadda you want. I asked what beers they had and she said there are 34 draft beers available and wasn't about to recite them. No menus. You use the beat up QR code sticker to download the extensive website and scroll and scroll, way past happy hour. Most of the menu apps feature a deep fat fried item from the far recesses of the freezer aisle. Yum. It's turn em and burn em kinds of stuff that 'Merica loves. So yes, we ordered not one but two $35 Combo Platters. Loaded like a magazine ad, it features bbq ribs, stuffed potato skins, onion rings, coconut shrimp, chicken nuggets, and jalapeño poppers with 3 sauces. Good thing we hit the cross fit box this morning to trickle off a few calories. A couple of shared Sushi rolls were actually great and fresh. A split Reuben was adequate, served with thin shoestring fries that get cold too fast. A few ordered steaks that were served with mashed potatoes and a medley of tired vegetables. We brought a tiny cake that miraculously served 10, once they cleared the table of spent platters and pint glasses. So, yeah they did what they do for large crowds; Get a pint, a bite and make your way to the airport. Which is what the Hale A'le actually reminds me of.
