The representative, Ella (I believe that was her name), instructed me to go to the airport location, stating that all of my reservation notes would be there and that I would be able to rent a car at that location. I drove 20 miles to the airport, only to be told by the airport staff that they had no record of my reservation or any notes associated with it. I asked if I could rent a vehicle at the airport, and was told yes--but at a cost of $230, plus an additional $25 fee if I returned it to the Rainbow location. This was despite the fact that my original reservation was confirmed at $100. The airport location attempted to contact the Rainbow location multiple times but received no response. As a result of the misinformation and lack of coordination from the Rainbow location, I was left without a vehicle. Due to the clear incompetence and mishandling of my reservation, I have filed a formal complaint with Avis.

I seriously didn't think I was going to find anything reasonable let alone someone who would have a van on an hours notice. I first called Enterprise and they were closed on a Saturday . They said the only location that was open was the one in the airport. I called a Hertz and they wanted around $160.00 and the miles were not unlimited. Then I finally called Avis who not only had a van ready but the price was reasonable. It was a little over $100.00 with unlimited miles. The van seated 7 people and there was even a camera in the back of the van where you can see as you are backing out. It was nice and clean too. They also let us return it on a Sunday where other places didn't allow a Sunday drop off. My husband decided to drop it off on Monday since it was his day off and they were nice enough to give him a ride back home. I would definitely want to use them again!

I spoke to a couple of dealers that either wanted to charge outrageous fees or thought that I had no idea how much the cars are worth. A friend of mine recommended Milestone & I'm glad that I contacted them. I spoke to Luca (the owner) first & he was very passionate when I told him about the cars that I was looking to sell. He promised to visit me the next day to evaluate the cars. He came to Beverly Hills, evaluated the cars & took professional pictures with a photographer he brought. It was his idea to keep the cars in my garage until they sell. I thought that this was a great idea, so I could at least see the cars for a couple of days before they leave forever. We agreed on an asking price & Milestone added their own commission on top of the price, so that I wouldn't have to pay them any percentage. Within two weeks, I have received two offers on the Miura, multiple offers on the two 300SLs, three on the Countach & several offers on the classic Porsches. Luca invited me to Las Vegas to discuss the offers & carefully select the buyers since I wanted to make sure that the cars will be in "good hands". Milestone sold all cars within 2 months to people in the US, Europe & one person in Australia. They took care of all of the paperwork & shipping. I couldn't be happier with their service & consignment program. I will use their services again and can only recommend their company. They really understand what they're doing.
