I was walking behind my nephew, Mitchell, and saw a big cloud of smoke come out of his head. "Hey! Whatcha got there?" He showed me his vape pen and started telling me about vaping. I knew about e-cigs already, but this gadget was a new one for me. I tried a few hits and......I liked it! Well, not so much the sweet flavor, but the sensation that felt like I was really smoking. "Tell me more." Intriguing. So I went home and started Googling. Ahhh.....great for helping to quit smoking! Even started a thread in Yelp Talk for more insight & encouragement. I received good responses & PMs with glowing testimonials and valuable information. By the end of the night, I decided to give this vape phenomena a try. It's way beyond time that I made a sincere effort to quit smoking. Decided to go to Vape Revolution on the recommendation of Mitchell & Yelper Hollie. Reading the reviews, thought it'd be best to show up right at the 11am opening because it gets crowded and there's usually a wait time. Good tip, Yelpers! There were already six other people waiting at the door when I drove up. Signed in and browsed around in the meantime. It's a nice lounge for your wait time and for hanging out. There's a tasting bar with menu books to peruse. Now here's where Howie comes in. For the next hour and 45 minutes, Howie was my new best friend. He listened to me, asked me questions, gave careful thought as to what would work best for me. let me try everything to see if it'd be a good match for me and made sure I had the necessary items for my new endeavor. I'm old enough to be Howie's mommy, but he was being the patient parent here. I want to adopt Howie! Howie understood that I wasn't sure if I'd like vaping and sold me only the necessary pieces to get started. I told him that I'm only an at-home smoker and didn't need a fancy get-up. I really like this over the sweet stuff! As time goes on, I'll be able to lessen the setting and go to a lower level of nicotine until I get to a zero content. What I really appreciate about the service here is that they really take their time with us vape newbies. They want to show us how these gadgets work and to help us understand what vaping is. None of this just selling us the products and rushing us off. Okay, so here's my progress report so far. It's been three days. I was a 6-10 cigs-a-day smoker. Since the first day, I've only smoked 5 cigarettes. FIVE. Only 5 since starting to vape. When smoking a 120 cigarette, I'd take about 12-15 hits per. With my vape pen, I've just been taking 2 hits at a time. Maybe every 2-3 hours. And, I'm not climbing the walls or wanting to pick a fight with family, friends or the dog. I was a regular smoker, and like you all, I hated the awful smell that lingered in my mouth and my clothes- a patient told me one day I smelled like an ash tray... how. embarrassing. Ignore bad reviews. See this place for yourself. Superb customer service, topline devices, and will soon have a juice bar for customers to try! Friendly and helpful staff, highly recommended to new and old vapers!! Mike, the co-owner, was super helpful and told us how each unit worked without any false info (I know e-cigs and always do a lot of research before I talk to anyone, to make sure I'm not getting jiffed and they know what they're talking about if they sell it... I've met so many people selling e-cigs that have no clue what they're talking about). Everyone here was very friendly. Mike even let us know which flavors were new and even though they don't have a juice bar for freely trying the different flavors yet, they still accommodate by bringing out the organized juices for you so you can still try anything on their 'juice menu.' Only advice I can give is to make sure you sign in. If it's super busy, and it usually is, they put a sign-in sheet to make sure things are handled appropriately and in an orderly manner. My all time favorite vape shop :) Everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Every time I go it feels like home. They have a really nice vape bar set up with a really nice and complete juice menu. They also serve refreshments: old school soda pops!!! There's also a pool table and couches if you feel like hanging out :) This place is especially awesome for beginners like myself. How the hell is this place still open? I get that you can buy cheap knockoff clone stuff off alibaba and sell it for a ridiculous markup and the margin on house juices are good but still.... Customer service sucks, the employees are all too busy doing nothing to help you buy their outdated overpriced merchandise. Before I start this review, I feel like I should mention that I have gone to Vape rev multiple times since its opening. When it first opened, it was amazing! The atmosphere was great! A TV, some comfortable couches, and great music really made the place somewhere I looked forward to visiting. I loved going to a place where I could geek out with others about vaping. Sadly, as time went by, my enjoyment began to dwindle. And yet, I kept going. Well, I think that time has come to an end. A couple of days ago I drove out there to purchase a juice that I love and only they carry. Also, after seeing some great reviews on "Flavors by Joe" juices, I figured I would try some while I was there. When I got there, the store was relatively busy and I had to place my name on the wait list to be attended. I didn't mind, mind you. After all, it's not like it's the first time I've had to do this. We do it at cell phone stores all the time, right? After a bit of a wait, it was my turn to be helped. This is where the one-star review comes from... When I approached the counter, the employee did not seem to want to be there. She hastily asked me what I was here for. I explained to her that I wanted to try some juices by "Flavors by Joe." She asked which ones I wanted and at what milligram. I explained to her that I wasn't sure, and that I wanted to try some of their samples. This is how the conversation went: Me: What flavors do you have? Employee: I don't know. Here are the samples She then gave me some samples to choose from. Me: This tastes good, do you have this? E: We're out. M: Oh, ok. What about this flavor? E: We're out of that too. M: Hmmm... Well, what DO you have? E: I don't know... M: Well, Is there anyway you can check please? E: (rolling here eyes) I mean, if you want me to walk over and check, then yeah I guess... This review is already long, so I'll spare you any more details, but know that this went on for another 15 minutes or so. I also asked her what the difference was between an atomizer they had in stock and one they used to carry, to which I got the response " Well, if we carry it it's because it's good." Well, what makes it so good? I couldn't get answer to my question! By this point, I just wanted to pay and get out of there... When VapeRev first opened, it was the first of its kind here in my area. But now, I find myself having at least 3 other stores to go to (Vapor Labs, Vapor Loft, Vapor Bombz, E-Cig City 2). I went out of my way to drive to vaperev because they had a juice that no one else has. After this, not even THAT would get me to go back... It took you guys 45mins+ to finally call me off your stupid sign-in shit? Really? I walked in on a busy Sunday late afternoon and wasn't greeted by the 3-4 people behind the counter not really doing much as their guests were browsing. That's ok. No it's cool. So I walk up to one of the workers behind the counter and the guy, doesn't even WANT to make eye-contact with me. So I said; Me- "Hi, I'm looking to buy some liquids?" Douchebag #1 "Oh, you have to sign-in." Me- "Oh ok, cool." -Guy stops and glances at me while holding the clipboard and circles something- -I sign the clipboard and quickly read what he circled which reads somewhere along the lines of- "I have a vape but don't know wtf I want or I want to sample some flavors so I'm willing to wait all day till you call my name." Something like that. The two other options were "I know what I want." and "Hi, I'm new, take my money now" So I'm like, that's cool. I sit down on one of their couches and chillax a bit till they call me. More people come in, like 7 more people come in. They all sign in and some of them were greeted once they walked in. That's cool. Those 5 of those 7 people, get their names called before I do. I shit you not. So I walk over and take a look at the clipboard, They are just helping whoever circled "I know what I want." but the hipster fuck that circled that is still going over to the other side where they are tasting flavors. (no offense hipster guy.) WTF? Why have an option that states "Sample flavors etc etc" But still help the guy that circled the other option that jumps ahead of other people that have been waiting to do the same thing? LAUGH OUT LOUD YO. So after waiting 45mins+ The Tall Caucasian man with the ZZ Top beard calls me over. I've been watching all the workers there and this guy was super friendly and helpful with his previous customer. I come up and say Hi and he just looks at me and says nothing. LAUGH OUT LOUD YO. This guy, did not want to fucken help me or something I swear. I waited 45 mins I expect all my questions to be answered without you being a smart ass about it you fucken shit. Throughout the whole time he was helping me he was busy fraternizing with his co-workers instead of paying any attention or helping me or explain anything. One of their workers came and was showing him his new app with his stupid phone and he was more interested in that then trying to help out someone (me) which clearly had me circled under "I have a vape but have questions etc, sampling blah blah" Fuck you guys. You all don't know how to run a business at all. You have a clipboard that doesn't follow anything at all as you just fucken choose who you want from the list. Learn how to close out transactions instead of dragging them forever. One of them didn't even finish one the whole fucken time I was there. Worst service I've had in a long time and I'm a fairly patient guy. I will never, ever come back here again. Word of advice, ditch the clipboard and teach everybody there how to provide adequate customer service in a timely manner. Fuck man, Wal-mart and Fry's gives me better service. I figure a small business like this would want my money. I guess not. You have a few workers there I can tell, are really good and the other half need to get the fuck out of my face. Came to the store to purchase a new PV and juice. Went in and signed in. I expected to be welcomed and greeted, but didn't happen. Waiting....30 minutes. In that 30 minutes not even a hi or welcome or anything. I was oblivious to them. I left without purchasing anything because no one came to help or ask what I wanted or what I was there for. I was there to give them my business, but obviously they didn't want it. I'll be more than happy to take my business to Vape On or Vapor Bombz. First off, I've been here numerous times. My last experience after their expansion is what I'll be basing my review on. The sign in system you have does not work. Sure, I know what I want, but if I want to see something else I like to possibly buy I'll ask about it. Would you really deny me? I don't think so, as a matter of fact...I witnessed it on my last visit there. I waited way too long even if it was to "sample". Sure, I spent $50+ on juice, possibly I could've spent more if the multiude of flavors I tried and liked were even in stock. I once thought this place was great, but I see it as only exterior. Please consider your core structure and process. 1 bad experience is enough for many people & in CS, 'you have a bad experience you tell 10 people. You have a good experience, you tell (maybe) 1 person'. For most expansion is a good thing. In your case, expansion my be the ruin. I think I'll go back to the smaller more personal shops for my business. You give me no more reason to make the drive I once made. read more

First and foremost if I could give 0 stars I would. I walked in this store in several months ago. I waited 10 mins, then an associate said I had to sign in, so I did. I waited around another 20 mins or so, still no help. The store was empty except for me and another customer. There were plenty of sales people so I'm not sure what the delay was. Finally about 30 hour still no help. The customer service was horrible. And the sign in sheet??Really what is this the DMV? Well I found another great spot. I don't live nearby, but I think Vape Rev has become my go-to shop. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and completely lacking in the douchey vape bro department. I had a great chat, swapped some knowledge and left with a smile on my face and a new mod in my pocket. Their gear in stock ranges from starter kits for current smokers looking to make the switch to mouth-to-lung gear for old school vapers like me to wide open cloud chucker stuff. The guys here are really awesome. If you smoke cigs, and you're looking to quit, or at least transition to something not quite as tarry, I suggest you pay a visit to the boys at Vape Revolution. Boyfriend has smoked for most of his life, and was looking to make a change, and he'd read extensively about e-cigs, and the concept of vaping. In short, vaping is simply the inhalation of nicotine vapor. The guys there set him up with a starter kit, which ran about $70, and told him to try it for a week, sans the cigarrettes. The first few days, he was grumpy, but as his body detoxed from the other crap in cigarettes aside from the nicotine, he began to feel better and better, and found that the nicotine vapor alone was enough to satisfy his cravings. He has been cigarette free for about three months now, and is working toward decreasing the amount of nicotine he inhales as well. Depending on how much you smoke a day, they will start you out with a dose appropriate for you, and you can decide when to decrease your dosage yourself. You will also need to decide which vapor flavor you'll want, but they'll let you try pretty much any flavor you want to try. Juice flavors run from 10-20 dollars, but last quite a while. Take the time to look for the address, since there's only a smalish sign on the door, no obvious business logos otherwise. read more

I didn't get the same friendly vibe here as I have at other vape shops. The ambience is REALLY nice. They have cool murals on their walls...the displays are fancy... they have a lounge/bar area and really nice couches! Prices are on the higher side. I've found everything they sell here cheaper at other stores. They have some flavors that you'll ONLY find at this location...but it's also more expensive. Like most other vape shops, they use iPads to do transactions which makes it easier than having to wait for a cashier. It's ALWAYS busy here. You even have to sign in and you can wait UP TO an hour I've heard. The staff is somewhat friendly but most seem to be in a rush when they're with you. I didn't feel as comfortable asking a million questions when I was deciding which vape to get and it didn't seem like they wanted to answer it. I'll probably never come back to this store (even tho I live in Cerritos) unless I hear about an AWESOME flavor that they have EXCLUSIVE to their business. It just takes way too long and it gets much too crowded. And if I do go back, I'll only do business with FRED. He was the friendliest and most patient worker. Mediocre service. They have a sign-in sheet so that they can better understand the reasons for your visit. At least two people in that came in AFTER me got helped and the guy at the front counter decided to trash the sign-in sheet before I got helped. I had to sign in AGAIN and had to wait another 15 mins just so I can get a $25 bootleg starter kit for my boyfriend. Juices are priced at a much higher price than what I usually see. Brands they carry are Midas, Virgin Vapor, Vaping Monkey, Jameson, Flavorz by Joe, Drakes Vapes, The Plume Room, etc. They do have a nice decor though. Looks like a nice place to lounge around and catch up with fellow vapers but unless they have some blowout sale, I highly doubt I'll be back. read more

Best Vape Experience which would be worth the wait. I see most of the complaints are because of the wait. The wait is long because of their selection of juices and the serious knowledge of each rep. I have been to others, but this is the only one that I come back to after I give the other ones a shot. The only hesitation with this store is that is a farther trek, but worth it. Also, I want to say every other Sunday, they have a BBQ and provide burgers & Hot Dogs & such to customers. :) That's nice of them. :) Based on my past previous experiences, overall summary: Decor: Nice & Comfortable. They have plenty of TVs pretty much on every wall. Plenty of couches, stools, high tables etc. They also provide board games & other time killers for you to sit and fumble around with while you wait. Always Greeted at the Door, you get 3 options. Newbie, Juices only, or Quick & Easy. Newbie (1 hour +) would be for anyone taking the LONGEST TOTAL amount of time, meaning getting the whole set up, they give you the pricing, explain to you the set-up, explain how to fully maximize your set-up and use, extend the life of your cartos, cleaning, etc. Basically answering every single question you have. Very Knowledgeable. Then next is Juices. Juices: (15-30 Mins) They have a super extensive selection of Juices & carrying other brands as well. I love their list, cause it breaks it down by the Brands, and provides the flavors that are most commonly associated with that particular flavor. I love it! Organization is key! Yes you can always ask your rep, but it's all there. You would sit here for a while trying to find your flavor. So it does add up time but then you are done and ready to check out & start vaping! :) Quick & Easy: (5-10 Mins). You already know what you want & what flavor. Don't need to sit to waste time. This is a review of only the online service and phone service. I have been a VapeRev customer for quite some time. Since the change in FDA regulations they implemented a system to comply but the only problem is that it doesn't work. I have been calling and waiting 3 days now trying to order online and it still doesn't work. They claim that their IT has been working on it and the only way I can order if I send a copy of my drivers licence. Something that I do not feel comfortable with considering the possibility of identity theft. When I called twice to resolve the online issue all they told me was to wait 24 hrs and their IT department was aware of it. They stated other people were experiencing this as well. This went on for 3 days and enough is enough. Time to move on and find another facility that has an actual working website and a company that actually values their customers versus just stringing them along for 3 days w/o resolve. Other places that I have ordered since the FDA change I have experience no issue w/ their online check system which is administered via blue check and others. Not sure what is going on w/ VapeRev but whatever it is it's obvious that it is not working. Lost me as a long time customer. I'd rather pay more for a smooth experience from another vendor versus wasting more time waiting. read more

This is not hyperbole: this is the ONLY place you need to go for all your vaping needs. I'm one of those guys who started smoking cigarettes because it made me feel really 'cool'. 21 years later and I definitely did not feel cool at all. I don't need to go on a diatribe about the bad, disgusting things that happens to your body from smoking, but let's just say all of it (and more) affected me. I tried everything from patches to gum to medication, & nothing really worked longer than a few weeks. FDA approved or not, vaping is the only thing that has worked. I'm 10+ months without a cigarette, and can't even stand the smell of them, let alone having the urge to get near one again. Let the Vape Revolution staff take care of you. If you're new to vaping & are curious, they are more than willing to educate you. There's a huge disparity between the mass-market "e-cigarettes" you'll find at gas stations & drug stores versus quality devices that will really work & last. They are professional and courteous and will cater to what will work best for you. If you're already deep into vaping, they have a huge selection of devices, nicotine liquid, accessories, etc. that are aligned price-wise with even the least expensive online vendors, so you really have no reason not to get your goods from them. They are definitely doing it right instead of the ENORMOUS markups you'll find at mall kiosks. Fair pricing, wise advice, comfortable & modern amenities to relax...it's win-win. Yeah, this place takes a shizz on E-Cig City for sure! Definitely worth the half an hour drive! I stopped going to E-Cig City because they wouldn't sell me the tanks that I wanted because they wanted to continue ripping me off. I came in to buy a tank that wouldn't leak and wouldn't make my vaping experience taste burnt with the hopes of getting somewhat of a better quality customer service than I was getting at that other place. The guy that helped me was super sweet and he was so awesome and giving about letting me try different juices. On top of that, he suggested a bunch for me to try and didn't mind spending the time to show me what I would like. He showed me how to use my new tank and was very informative; knew exactly what he was talking about and he even gave me websites where I can buy different merchandise because he knew that I had to drive far just to get there! E-Cig City would never do that. This is some quality customer service and he didn't even work there! He just enjoys hanging out there so he pretty much helps out the manager for free. If that doesn't tell you anything about this place then I don't know what will. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and I can't wait to get paid so I could come back again! read more

Very disappointed. Before I purchased my Bagua mini, I called vape revolution just to make sure they had it. The representative told me that they are in stock of the SS Bagua mini. By the time I get there they inform me that they only have the brass one. I waited about an hour for them trying to find out they have one. Supposably one if they're co workers had one but never used it. I only had the Bagua mini for about a week. The pins kept getting loose and was not connecting to the 510. I called and ask if there is something they can do to fix this problem. Vape rev representative advised me they can only refund if there is a manufacturer error not customer un satisfaction. I tried to quit smoking several times over the years. This includes; patch, hypnosis, acupuncture, Chantix, Wellbutrin, Nicorette Gum etc and nothing ever stuck for longer than a month. In 2006 when the first e-cigs hit the market I was excited but the technology just wasn't there(failing batteries, bad vapor production) and lack of support. Another issue was availability. The vaping technology has grown leaps and bounds since then and the options now are not only better but intimidating as well. Enter Vape Revolution, a place to see all these options up close. These guys here live the lifestyle and are, I assume, all ex-smokers. First off, if this review has grabbed your interest and you're thinking of going the vape(e-cig) route, do NOT purchase anything from those mall kiosks or liquor stores. These are overpriced subpar kits that will only frustrate you in the end. The good news is that you can start vaping for under $50 and get a good quality kit. There is a learning curve to sustain vaping and establishments like Vape Revolution are mere guides. Vapers, as we are called come from all lifestyles. There is no one device that will fit everyone. This is the first vape shop we ever went to, and I must say, it was intimidating. First off, nobody greeted. Secondly, there was nothing posted to say that we had to sign-in just to get someone to help us. When our name was finally called and we were being helped, I must say, although the staff member was knowledgeable and patient with us, he was slow. Actually, the entire staff seemed slow, as if there was no urgency to get the line down. There was a lot of people waiting, but staff members were just taking their sweet time, or even just hanging around until they felt they were ready to take on another customer. After hearing from friends and other people about how this place is "the best" vape shop in the area, I decided to finally visit. First thing's first, there was someone who welcomed us which is always a nice touch. But I don't get why we need to sit down and wait for someone to help us, my friend and I came in at around 3 in the afternoon and there weren't really anyone there. I guess having a hostess is okay and all, but would you really need one when it's not busy The liquids are so-so. Their house blends did not impress me one bit. They also carry 3rd party brands that other vape shops carry. The price is also less than desirable, again to other vape shops The employee that did help us out was very helpful and patient with my friend and I, and everyone seems very knowledgeable. The place is VERY big, but don't see the need for it personally, as someone stated in another review, they're trying to be "exclusive." As I said to my friend as we walked out, we're not looking for a nice bottle of wine here. Overall the look and ambiance of the place did not impress me one bit. I've been meaning to do a review for these guys for awhile so now here it goes. I've tried unsuccessfully in the past to get into vaping as an alternative to smoking but was disheartened at the high costs and lack of reliable support (information, easy replacement, product demonstrations, ect.). It was always shifty mall kiosk salesmen and smoke shop employes who never used the products themselves and couldn't really answer any questions. When I came to vape revolutions I was blown away. The staff was friendly, professional and informative. I felt like I was being treated more like a customer and less like a quick sale. They work with you one on one to help you find what products suit your needs and they let you try samples of their vaping juices so you can see what flavors you like or what level of nic. you want. The store itself is clean and feels like your in a high end lounge/bar, albeit a little hazy since people often lounge there vaping but it doesn't smell bad if your wondering. Finally as far as customer service and satisfaction I can't say how great they have been. I bought a device that after 30 days developed a defect and they replaced it right there in the store no questions asked and zero hassle. It was one of the easiest replacements I've ever done for an electronic device. They carry a stock of high quality affordable vaping devices and accessories which go from amateur level to hardcore vaping enthusiast do there's pretty much something for anyone there. I've noticed that as time has gone by i have become more comfortable with vaping and have been able to customize it to suit my changing needs and expectations. Unbelievable. This place is awesome! I am a smoker... 1 pack/day for over 20 years. A bunch of my colleagues at work have quit and one recommended this place. Yes!, more please! After 12 years of smoking a pack a day, I can finally say that I have quit cigarettes for good. Place looks great and relaxing makes you want to stay and hang out. Crazy just crazy how much they have for us to choose from. Tips: -Initial investment when you start vaping might get a little high. This is only because you're paying for the quality, these things are going to be used everyday so quality is not something you want to over look. -Listen to these guys. They know what's up. Here's why I bought my first setup from online almost a year ago, a 510 tank, and although it worked it wasn't anything great . I was angry. I put in so much time researching it only to find that it sucked. I went back to cigarettes and wasted 80 dollars. Months later I had the urge to quit again and that's when I met CJ. He set me up with a fairly decent setup at a very good price and guess what? It's the same setup I use today. Moral of the story, there are so many things that factor into vaping. These guys have seen it, tried it, done it, so why expirement? so ask questions and take their advise. It takes time to learn everything and get it perfect. -Nicotine how much? 24mg? I used to smoke Marlbro menthols full or Camel Crush menthol full at a pack a day. What I found out is that I needed the highest amount of nicotine. If it didn't have 24mg or more I wouldn't feel it in my throat so it didn't feel like a cigarette. I cannot vape anything under 24mg. I just don't feel it and it bugs me. This is called Throat-hit or TH. If you are trying to quit cigarettes ask them about throat hit. More mg = more throat hit (other things factor into TH too.) I feel compelled to write a yelp review due to the outstanding level of customer service i have received at Vape Rev over the last two months. This high degree of service simply does not exist anywhere else in the vape community, nor many businesses outside the community. It is almost like walking into a five star hotel. The employees are extremely professional, yet fun to talk to- most of them will remember you and greet you by your first name. There will always be an employee at the door to greet you and help you with anything you need while you sit in the waiting room, which has awesome games to play with, and a few tv's to watch... not to mention they play bomb music!!! When a new product comes out, they make sure every employee knows how to use/build it. Ah, then the products.. There is no where else that you can find the kind of products they carry. Vape Rev has exclusive rights to sell a lot of the products you see in their store, and trust me- everything in their store is of the finest quality. If you were blindfolded and picked any item to walk out with, i guarantee you would be 100% satisfied. They have everything for beginners, intermediates, and experienced vapers- although i would say leaning toward experienced. They also have exclusive rights of sale for a few of their juice lines... and man... they are good. I was also surprised by the amount of stock they have. I have never been denied a purchase because they didn't have a certain juice in stock- and trust me i have bought plenty of juice. They also have a great rewards program. And like others, it isn't too "greedy" if that's the word. Other stores make you spend hundreds to get a free $0.25 drip tip. But this one is well balanced and the rewards are actually good. A small tip though... avoid going during lunch breaks and around 5-7 on weekdays, because it seems like many other customers feel the same way about Vape Rev as i do.. and it gets insanely crowded with wait times going up to 45 minutes. I'm fairly new to the scene but with my obsessive personality, I feel like I'm progressing quickly. Living in the OC has me spoiled with vape shops, and my experience with most stores has been extremely positive. As I progressed with the culture, I found myself becoming more interested in mechanical mods and rare accessories and juices. Hello, Vaperev. Vape Revolution has some of the most exclusive vape gear in the nation, much less California. Atmizoos, Caravels, Chi-Yous, Ben Jonson and Robo Fuel e-juices... it's a haven for specialty vape products here in SoCal. Take advantage of it! I've made a number of trips out here from Placentia and each experience has been great. On my first trip, they had a sign-in sheet which was fine, but not always optimal. On subsequent visits, they've had an excellent receptionist who would greet you as you walked in and take your name down. She was constantly checking in with customers asking if they'd like water or specialty soda. More importantly, she checked in with my group twice to give us an update on our place in line ("I have one person in front of you, then it's your turn"). Vigilant, to say the least. Upon being called, I couldn't ask for a more pleasantly, unique experience. Paddy was awesome. He informed us from the beginning that we should take our time, and he was very informed in regards to high-end mods and exclusive juices. He spent a great deal of time explaining the intricacies of their great mechanical mod selection to us ranging from the 69 to the Atmizoos and everything in between. After checking out the mods, Paddy must have spent a good 30-45 minutes hanging out with us at the juice bar helping us to make an informed decision. Shout-outs to Steve, Ross and Pat. I wasn't a fan at all of the Dr. office type envrionment. Check in and wait for your name is a bit annoying and not a free thinking envrionment. I gave another star for the response I got from vape rev management. They just have their way of doing things or simply smoothing things over with customers? Either way I will try and visit again with a better response from staff? However, it shouldn't take a yelp for them to say "we'll help you learn to build a coil fo free" after I shelled out $15 but, nobody EVER MENTIONED THAT TO ME at any point during my business transaction. Kinda too late now... Also $15 for a coil build?! seriously?! That's the price 15ml's of premium e-juice. People work hard for their $ not just to throw it away. IMHO your paying for the "fluff" at this place. I thought I had to check it out because of the reviews but... I've been going to Vape Rev for a few months now. I upgraded from my piddly Ego-T to a full fledged mechanical vaporizer thanks to these fine folks. They've not only brought Vaping to Cerritos, they've made it a social experience. I've met lots of nice folks here. When I first dropped into the shop it was because an old friend was working there. Myke told me to stop in and when I did I was pretty impressed. They ask you to sign in on a sheet and wait your turn. Depending on how busy they are this can take a while. If they are busy, sit back on one of their comfy couches and talk to a stranger, read a magazine, or just take in the sights. They always have good music on the radio so you'll never be bored here. And if you are in a hurry and know exactly what you want, they have a quick checkout line at their vapor bar now. VapeRev only sells top quality equipment and all of their staff is super helpful(they tried helping me jump my car once!). Every time I have trouble with my vaporizer they take the time to troubleshoot it with me. I always walk out of this shop happier and more knowledgeable than when I walked in. Although sometimes I walk out quite a bit poorer too. Thankfully their loyalty card helps soothe the blows. The quality of their products is something I can't stop talking about. Most of their juices are sourced locally and not imported from China. They have a good relationship with their mixers and they always get exclusive flavors you won't find anywhere else. It's good to see a business not only supporting their local community but making it thrive and bringing customers together. When you come here, expect to wait a little bit. I've visited many Vape stores in the LA and OC area and my experience at Vape Rev has always been the best. When you walk in, you are greeted by a hostess asking about your needs. Usually she will put you on the list just like in a restaurant and as soon as an associate is free they will call you. If you just make an order over the phone for pick up or just need e-juice or other supplies; she will let you walk up the the cashier line. My experience from talking to the associates have been enlightening and these guys really know their stuff. I never once felt rushed and they have always been accommodating to your needs. I've learned a lot from them through my transition from e-cigs and variable devices to a Mechanical Mods and RBAs. They are there exclusively to help you during your entire stay and that makes the experience really special. Paddy and Matt, to name a few, thanks guys :) The fun part is the e-juice bar where you can taste test everything in the menu. They have an extensive choice of e-juice you can select and vape. The menu breaks them down by Desert Flavor, Fruit Flavor, etc. which makes it easier for finding your preferred juice. I can see why there is some negativity towards Vape Rev because they seem to have a firm hold on the competition. For example; my favorite brand of e-juice "Ben Johnson's Awesome Sauce", mechanical mods like "King", even RBAs like "SvoeMesto's Kayfun" seem to be exclusive to purchase from Vape Rev in the states. I guess all I can say is they are pretty smart peeps running this place and it definitely makes it hard for other Vape stores to compete which such exclusivity.
